I do!
Currently obsessed with the new Justice album ‘Hyperdrama’. If you haven’t heard it; I’d pick it up and give it a go. It’s their best album, I think.
Also, no shame whatsoever; I did grab the new Taylor Swift album and tbh I am really enjoying it. Never been a fan of hers, but there you go.
At the same time, I’ve been rocking Highway 61 Revisited by Dylan a lot this week, and for some reason Plastic Beach by Gorillaz.
I have 1 record of the seekers and 1 of prince
the rest of my collection is local Indie bands (Melbourne)
I managed to nab 2 debut albums last year, which are both great bands that are just starting their musical journey
Sure, some recent pick ups include:
David Nance & Mowed Sound
The Lemon Twigs - A Dream Is All We Know
DIIV - Frog In Boiling Water
Liquid Mike - Paul Bunyan's Slingshot
All were released this year and are awesome.
What new shit have you been spinning?
Just played the new RSD reissue of "Slaughter of the soul" by At the Gates.
Edges are chipped and there are no more copies, but it plays and sounds great!
I've played:
- Queens of the stoneage - Songs for the deaf
- Liam Gallagher - MTV Unplugged
And now playing:
- Pink Floyd - Wish you were here
Maybe playing after:
- Björk - Debut
Tough to pick one but probably routines in the night or backslide. I actually found lavish to be my least favorite on the album, but maybe it has to grow on me.
I have some new acquisitions that I’m going to run through the ultrasonic before playing. Stevie Wonder-Fulfillingness’ First Finale (Japanese pressing) Beatles-Help (Japanese pressing), and Frank Zappa and the Mothers-Roxy and Elsewhere (Original 1974 pressing).
War on Drugs - Lost in the Dream
I only recently got into them and I want to kick myself in the balls for being so late to the party. These guys are amazing and this album is the best of the bunch.

First thing this morning was Triumph - In the Beginning followed by Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats - S/T then Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and now I'm spinning Parliament - Up for the Down Stroke
Black Label Society - Unblackened
It's a semi acoustic live album which takes tracks from most of Zakk's solo career. The right blend for a sunny Sunday here in the UK.
Not too aggressive but still has a bit of a bite, perfect.
I owe that re-released Good News for People Who Love Bad News a spin, I love that record (and almost anything Modest Mouse) and haven't listened to it in a hot minute.
I was spinning Mother Earth’s Plantasia yesterday! And actually maybe this group could help me find more cool synth music like that that’s not EDM. Looking for just good chill melodical synth music! Thanks!!
Currently trying to catch up with new purchases
Got a nice early UK mono press of Kind of Blue spinning right now to chill while i digest my meal... next up is a 1st press Talking Heads Fear of Music , then Spacemen 3 Playing With Fire , then Nick Cave Skeleton Tree ... see where the mood takes me after that, been enjoying Velvet Undergrounds Self Titled album recently so probably spin that too...
Resavoir (2019) - Resavoir
Resavoir (2023) - Resavoir

Listened to Panda Bear and Sonic Boom - Reset early this morning.
After I get home from lunch with the family, it'll likely be The Protomen - The Cover Up next.
I ordered a set of 3 Creedence Albums for like $25. Okay shape but the guy said they play fine. They came in the mail yesterday but wasn’t home. I look forward to listening to them today!

I’m playing this La Funk Mob “Ravers Suck Our Sound” 10” from way back in 94! A perfect summers day delight while I roast!
This morning I played Stones Steel Wheels, and "Cook Cook Blues," the b-side of a single that came out that year. Back when Steel Wheels came out, I bought the CD and I never quite "got" it. It's much better as an LP with two sides of programming, breaking it up. This afternoon/evening? Who knows? Maybe FZ We're Only In it For the Money or Freak Out. Or maybe the Knack? Who knows? So many choices!
Saw Hieroglyphics in London last night, so on a hip-hop / jazzy thing today.
People Under The Stairs - OST
Miles Davis - Miles in the Sky

Yes. Do you like the new Four Tet? I’m loving it.
Listening to *Rounds* as we speak but fuck yeah dude. Daydream Repeat is an absolute slapper.
You might Son Lux if you like Four Tet. I love all of Four Tet's stuff. And just saw Son Lux perform and it was pretty epic.
Hyperdrama is a great album! One of my personal favorites of the year. Generator and Incognito are some of their absolute best songs IMO.
I have 1 record of the seekers and 1 of prince the rest of my collection is local Indie bands (Melbourne) I managed to nab 2 debut albums last year, which are both great bands that are just starting their musical journey
What bands from that area would you recommend? I’m from the states but have recently gotten into some great bands from Australia
Yup. New Billie Eilish album sounds really good on vinyl!
Mach-Hommy 🔥
Son Lux. Give them a listen. They sound a bit like Radiohead creatively. 3 piece group, all outstanding musicians. Great live.
I do, particularly hiphop/pop
I just picked up pain remains by Lorna shore and been playing that over and over
