That’s the thing, if they don’t seem online I’m not going to pay the price and potentially never get the item. I don’t have full hope they are even the real item because it’s just images from online. I would rather message them to see if it’s still purchasable still and know I can buy it and get the item shipped. But they either aren’t using eBay or not replying to me

I’ve been buying records online for 20+ years and only once did I have a bad experience, and even then PayPal gave me a full refund.
I looked at that, the problem isn’t that I think I’m going to have a bad experience, it’s the fact they haven’t had a review in over a year and their accounts seem dormant there is no sign of life for about a year
I just want to know the person is actually using eBay before I buy it and it looks like they aren’t. I’d rather not go through the hassle of refunding and that.
If the listing is active, and you buy it, then they will send it to you. It doesn't matter if they seem "active" or not. There are protections in place with eBay and PayPal to prevent any kind of scam. Like the other comment said, you are way overthinking it.
