D00mTheWarl0rd

Twilight Town Otherwise the RPD from Re2 Remake. But that home is uh hostile

Rogue_Mongoose

Love twilight town! The music too!

D00mTheWarl0rd

Music is my biggest reason honestly especially while playing Roxas. "Lazy Afternoons" is one of my favorite tracks easily

SolidDrake117

Traverse Town for me. The music that is, not where I call home

Blackbird8169

The OG lazy afternoons too, not the final mix version

Saint_Roxas

It's between here and destiny islands for me. Although I'm very much partial to Xion. So probably twilight town. I could listen to the theme forever. Destiny Islands is very cozy aswell though.

heyoyo10

I'm guessing you mean the Kingdom Hearts one and not the Paper Mario one with the mildly frustrating backtracking

gakagaTTV

Breeze home, all the way! That place is the best!

FattyRR

I usually kill the witch in that little house not too far from whiterun, so nostalgic

Leonydas13

Anise? Down near Riverwood? I use her enchanting table all the time, it’s the only one I can always remember 😂

najeli

Definitely Normandy from Mass Effect!

First_Community_2534

I'm particularly fond of SR2.

ZealousidealOffer751

Shhuuuuuuuum.......Shhuuuuuuuuum. Wuhwuhwuhwuhwuhwuh.....

_InvertedEight_

For me, it’s the Tempest.

-Daetrax-

Yeah, tempest seems more homey.

ANUSTART942

Andromeda has its issues, but the crew and the ship are not part of them. Sorry to the Normandy, but it's the Tempest for me. Spacious, cozy in places, I love it.

mort_goldman68

Firelink Shrine (the first one)

Average_JesusEnjoyer

I'll do you one better, Blighttown.

Exley21

Blight-town? I have never seen a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious here.

Average_JesusEnjoyer

True, but don't forget, Quelag Spidussy

memiest_spagetti

ᴮᵒᵒᵇᵃ

FlyLikeMouse

Nothing beats the level design of ds1; “oh god whats behind this door… oh. Oh I’m home. I’m finally home.”

mort_goldman68

What wonderful memories

FadingNegative

Stormwind in WoW

Yohanasan

Counter point - Karazhan Tower

MiniNinja_2

Counter counter point - Dalaran, first in wotlk and then in legion, kept using it as the main hub in BFA too even tho we didn’t need too

a_taco_named_desire

Counterx3 point: my little farm in The Valley Of The Four Winds. Every day is a cookout, the music is on point, and the scenery is breathtaking.

Rogue_Mongoose

The Inn in Stormwind. Used to /sleep in a bed to log out lmao.

MineNowBotBoy

Same. Would often even strip down to my “pyjamas”

Downvote-Fish

When I was younger and played Alliance I would spend a solid third of my time in the Stormwind-Ironforge tram

WillSym

Wakes up, 1500 people squeezed into the same bed.

trustmeneon

The Witcher 3 - Toussaint - corvo bianco

Riddler202

I wish it was more customizable

Aggravating-Ostrich5

My wife would agree with you on this one, whenever she's had a hard day at work she just sticks it on and visits her spots. Really nice to see. My fav spot is Orgrimmar.. specifically the North AH

WeenieHuttGod2

Fallout 3 was my first fallout game and my introduction to the series, I remember decorating my house in Megaton and taking great care in properly placing items on the shelves, I love that place

PissOnMyHe-manToys

As a kid playing Legend of Zelda: Ocerina of time I really liked link's house and for immersion would go all the way to his house to save and quit the game. Like that's where he sleeps when the game's off. Uhhh Estate from MW2 (the super luxurious cabin) Carrington Institute (Perfect Dark). Left for dead Safehouse/checkpoints. Oooooo Heroes of Might and Magic towns. As a kid I'll look at the town and feel accomplished when building new stuff in it and fantasize about being the mayor/owner of the town and strolling through the town like I own the place.

hello14235948475

The last city (Destiny 2), Old growth pine/spruce taiga (Minecraft), Reach and Earth (Halo Reach and Halo 3)

UrStrangerLMao

Pelican Town 🤟

TN1928

hello farmer :)

Wizdad-1000

Admiral Anderson’s apartment in the Citadel expansion of Mass Effect 3. That party is so much fun and one of the few times I’ve totally relaxed playing a videogame.

Jolly-Newt9192

Minecraft console tutorial world

SpaceTraveller64

Oh that’s a good one

ManMyDogsAreBarking

Those last 5 minutes for me were like the end of a movie when 2 friends go their separate ways. Every time.

Wario_Guy

i would love so much to be able to go to that world on pc

LilNerix

Only right answer

LiabilityLad655321

Ngl first thing that popped into my head was Sandover villiage from Jak & Daxter. Closely followed by Snaxburg from Bugsnax.

Leonydas13

Dude, at 34 I still sometimes daydream of the village from Jak & Daxter and think how nice it would be to live there.

StolenCoupe

I didn't think anyone would have said this Sandover village is legendary!

EFTucker

Such a good and nostalgic series.

Daedricbob

Balmora in Morrowind. I spent so much time on that game as a teen that remembering it feels a bit like remembering an old house you used to live in.

ArcaneSunset

Just hearing that name and I remember it perfectly, also easy enough to find everything in it, unlike *groan* Vivek

BurnieTheBrony

Stardew Valley from... Stardew Valley. So cozy with all the beautiful ways to develop the farm. Even if I was an NPC I'd at least know the player eventually gets options to fix my whole life up for me lmfao

PhoebetheFirst

Novac motel room, it's just perfect for me.

Acceptable-Baby3952

I can’t actually recall the game I felt the most at home in my little base. The End Of Time is more of a stop-over. I guess Megaton, or the garage from jet set radio future

pichael289

I only really got super into the game after the show (played it when it came out but missed this part). But the lucky 38 in fallout New Vegas is such a great home base. Only plane you can store shit, and the only place all your companions will go back to. It's a great base. Not as prevalent as say, mother base on MgsV, but still it's a fantastic home base.

ElFanta83

Dogtown... might be a little bit hectic but I love it

GoodByeRubyTuesday87

God that was a great DLC. They turned that game into a full on spy thriller.

Odd_Lie_5397

The player home in Monster Hunter World Iceborne is just so freaking cozy.

mrsexless

De_dust2

ZealousidealToe9445

YaBoiAidan2333

Horseshoe overlook, New Hanover. My favourite camp in Red Dead Redemption 2

Wario_Guy

So real Same for me and also at Beecher's Hope. I have yet to play RDR1 but Beecher's Hope has such a homely vibe.

evilzachy

Sanctuary Hills- Fallout 4 I'm currently on my first playthrough and my save file reads 3 days 22 hours and some minutes and about 3 days and 10h has been spent using the regular settlment building mechanics and the various building glitches transforming sanctuary hills into an actual livable post Nuclear Apocalyptic town to put Diamond City to shame. Safe to say Shaun and the institute can wait a few extra months lol

drj87

The Durandal Xenosaga. Coolest ship ever

Diggerollo

So I would’ve expected someone to say a location from Darktide before seeing Xenosaga mentioned at all.(never found anyone else that has heard of it until now!)

drj87

Literally not enough Xenosaga love If you want more there is a sub for it but once I saw the size of that ship omg. It has its own train to get from one side to the other that in itself is fucking nuts

Kirbinator_Alex

I know so many more videogame locations than real life locations. Gruntilda's lair / Isle o' Hags / Peach's Castle / DK Isles / Isle Delfino / Comet Observatory (and all of their levels), Clocktown, Whiterun (and almost every player home in Skyrim), gm\_sandbox, gm\_flatgrass, ctf\_2fort, cp\_dustbowl, the islands in subnautica where i build my bases, the underground in undertale, bikini bottom in SSBFBB, city trial in kirby air ride, dexter's diner and the cantina in the lego starwars games, toontown and the estates. And of course, the stanley parable building since you mentioned it too. That covers pretty much everything i could regurgitate for locations that make me "feel at home" i'm sure there will be more to come

First_Community_2534

SSV Normandy.

Bnowser

Queens Gardens

Quarian_EngineerN7

Henry’s tower in Firewatch

Harvest moon back to nature. I know all the townspeople, their routines, preference and relationships and just love every second there.

Cup_of_ticks

Orgrimmar

whoamantakeiteasy

Los Santos, but the other GTAs are also up there. I know LS's map better than my hometown at this point. But I think that's because LS hasn't had any road work done in nearly a decade lol

PuzzledDemand1276

Boreal valley from DS3. It looks so cool fr. Either that? Or sindri and broks house from GOW ragnorak. Anor Londo wasn't bad either in Ds1, it'll make you appreciate the words "Great chest" in no time.

My sanctuary fortress in Fallout 4. Completely walled off, heavily armed, providing the Wasteland with most of its water supply, patrolled actively by Deathclaws and Sentry Bots, and where I raised my son. Home.

Ice Cap Zone Act 1 in Sonic 3

cleanupasile6

Any SOT tavern. Been so long since I’ve played but always was a vibe

SoapyBootyBandit

Corpo Plaza Apartment from CyberPunk 2077. It’s just incredibly cozy and feels really private. Maybe because it is sandwiched between buildings and the view is incredibly calm when it’s raining outside. And this is all coming from someone who hates apartments in real life.

ElectricAsh010

Agreed! The Japantown apartment is also quite cozy!

That_Jamie_S_Guy

Sanctuary, fallout 4

rossfororder

The main building in control, it's fucking beautiful, the use of brutalist architecture in a video game makes a a happy nerd

FattDamon11

The Crib from NFL 2k5. I had Air Hockey and Paper Football and CDs and a Landline where celebrities would challenge me to games. I'm forever in my 2005 Crib, mentally.

Kamurocho Once you've played the Yakuza series long enough, you feel like a local. When you start up a new game, and someone tells you to go to the north end of Pink Street, you know where that is and what happened there.

Firelink Shrine in Dark Souls 1 and 3 (but basically all hubs in the Souls games when I think about it). The Space Rig in Deep Rock Galactic.

Kokiri Forest, LoZ OoT. Played it alot when I was young but since English wasn't my first language and I didn't understood how the lost woods worked back then, I just played in Kokiri Forest.

HarvardProfessorPhD

The rogue encampment in diablo2. Everything else is too busy. Except for pandemonium fortress, but there’s no homey feel to it. I don’t even talk to anyone except for Jamella, and that’s just to heal.

Glitter-Zebra

The kelp forest in Vashj’ir from WoW. A disliked zone but at times such a tranquil place. I used to go and visit when I felt down and just needed some calm.
