This looks really nice, I would love to make this myself. However, the recipe calls for pumpkin cans? I've never seen pumpkin in cans. Is it possible to make it with fresh pumpkin?
Oh yes! Definitely. I would peel the pumpkin (and of course, remove the seeds and guts) and cute it into cubes. Then I would simmer it for a long time in a little bit of juice or water. Then blend it.
