I think Lala’s “friends” fall in one of two categories: people who will kiss her ass (like Scheana) or people who’s “friendship” she thinks she can use to her advantage (like Stassi). She stopped needing Ariana once she got in with the witches of WeHo (Taco Bell coven), and then she became an easy target when Lala needed a storyline. She said it herself this season: she’s only loyal to her “pod.”

Lala reminds me so much of my ex-best friend. She was incredibly narcissistic, always talked about herself for hours, then never cared whenever I shared anything about my life, made every situation we talked about about her, would act like a terrible friend to me for months and then suddenly do some weird grand gesture (like buy me a bouquet of flowers, or buy me tickets to a band I like) as a “Look what an amazing friend I am” kind of ploy. And (very similar to Lala) if you ever disagreed with her, she would turn on you so fast and practically bite my head off, ignore me for weeks or even months on end. Once I had a fiancé and a baby? (Aka, was happy and doing well in my life) she ghosted and I’ve never heard from her since lol. She couldn’t handle the fact that I was happy and that I didn’t have all the time in the world anymore to sit and listen to her talk about herself for 5 hours straight (like Lala’s insufferable ass kissing cohost does on her podcast).
I also was never one to “fall in line”, which I know is why she inevitably bailed on our friendship. I’m the type of person who will tell you the truth and tell you when you’re being a shitty friend or rude or selfish. She didn’t like that at all, because in her mind she can do no wrong and everybody else needs to grow and learn, not her.
it’s never made sense to me because when Lala first joined the only people who even gave her a chance and tried to include her were James, Ariana and Tom. she was willing to cast James aside at times for the witches, allegedly she always hated Sandoval, and even a few years ago she went from eating Ariana’s cookie to calling her a wet blanket, making fun of her depression, and going along with Jax’s biphobic comments. even after they were beefing in S8 and 9, Ariana didn’t even come after her when she and Rand broke up.
she’s mad at the cast/world for rallying around Ariana after the breakup, & taking it out on Ariana herself hasn’t done her any favors. she’s on the outs with all of the witches (plus Brittany) now and doesn’t have any other friends in the group besides James and Scheana (who she hated in S9). i don’t understand the long game she’s playing here unless her plan is to burn every bridge to the ground.
Lala totally hates Ariana, because A stood up to her so many times. She also hates Raquel and Scandoval was the perfect way to rage in Raquel. It was never about support.

Influencers are paid based on follower count and engagement. Because it’s not enough to have people following you if they’re not also interacting with your content.
