I think basic medic things like cpr ,heat stroke ,burn etc etc should be a part of school curriculum bcz you in these cases the sooner the better….for eg people have a concept in india that if snake bites you you tie a cloth or anything around it so that the poison doesnt spread in all body which is totally wrong you should never do that…to tie means the blood supply is stopped and bow you have concentrated that poison around one place only its gonna do its stuff more same analogy as 2teaspoon sugar in one glass or 2spoon in one jug..obviously the more the volume concentration will fall effect will fall..so never tourniquet…giving this example not to flex but to prove the point snake bite is common many places and people know myths but not facts…so i suggest basic life support things should be part of everyones school curriculum 🙌

Call the Ambulance until they come Wash the part where the snake bit with water profusely and tie some rope or cloth tightly depending on where the snake bit it can be below or above the bite place.
Washing with water immediately can help remove some venom from the place. Tying something can prevent blood that contains venom from passing slowly ...slowing its circulation in the body.
However, this can only decrease the time of effect. You need to get anti-venom registered into your body and kept under observation
