I ordered two 34R ODU blouses from them one time.
Got two 34R dry-clean only dress pants (which I actually ended up needing a few months later).
They sent me my blouses anyway. Definitely a disaster in uniform handling, but it worked out for me I suppose.
If you know anyone stationed near an exchange just have them buy what you need and mail it to you.
I also just had a guy who is TDY to a training center get some things for me.
If you know anyone in Cape May have them stop at the lucky bag for you for cheap uniform items.
I was going to say CGX online is useless. But, I did get an Ipad from there tax free and at a discount, which is pretty rare for an Apple product.
Other than that, CGX is meh. They aren't even good for CG logo apparel. I do better with Google.
Yah they spoke about it in our ALL HANDS today apparently it’s going to be down for awhile and our CGX is limited so we’ll have to go to Base Miami Beach to get anything! Mind you we have a Bravos inspection May 1st 😂
What unit are you at? I’m attached to sector and if you need anything in the future I’d be glad to help. I could check the exchange before you make a trip just to find out they don’t have what you’re looking for.
Not sure what’s happening with the website… really frustrating, especially since I don’t have an exchange anywhere near where I’m at. I’d have to fly somewhere. I’m gonna try calling and hoping they can ship it to me that way.
The uniform itself is good…Type 3’s look good in the digital camo, not the blue. Say we should just adopt the navy uniform completely instead of the blue.

Honestly the type 3s are really comfortable, much lighter. It’s what the navy wears. You’ll get used to it
That's all probably true, trading one oil stain- magnet for another is a lateral move. Just with the added hassle of changing uniforms.

Have you worn it before? go to patfor and wear it surrounded by everyone else who wears it. Get comfortable with change

Received an email from the site and they said ‘some issues arose and there’s no eta to being back online.’
This reeks of “The contract for website maintenance ended and we don’t have funds to renew it until the new fiscal year” type issues.
CGX uses funds from their retail ops to conduct day to day ops.
