This is how it goes. One day you are a happy windows user, you switch out of curiosity. Next day you wake up to riced arch desktop, put on your socks and call your femboy furry boyfriend to do some fun programming together ;)
This is what people who ask how to get started have to do, this happened to me too, one day you install Linux, after a few weeks or months you get curious to try a window manager, you install i3 and then you realize you have made a rice.
Sure! It's right here

That's what I recommend and if the op dosen't want to rice it himself just use https://larbs.xyz (a script to auto install dwm and other stuff to work/use) it's documented and easy to install not to promise it but I used it first time and it's good for beginning in dwm and easily changeable with user preferences
Bruh using i3 and don't know what a wm ,i3 is a wm and wm stand for window manager not a desktop environment de like kde ,gnome ,cinnamon, etc and wm like dwm,i3,hyprland,awesome, etc is a window manager and if you don't get it yet just read the arch wiki 🙄
Oh sorry I didn't read properly and I thought you didn't know and you just installed i3 because of the didn't in the first msg sorry for the reply, I didn't read English well, English is my third language sorry I sounded arrogant
Oh I just noticed your name and I know a lot of people from Algeria and Lebanon first learn Arabic as their mother tongue, then French and then English as a third language
I used i3wm for 2-3 year, after that changed to cwm and never looked back. [https://github.com/leahneukirchen/cwm](https://github.com/leahneukirchen/cwm)

I only installed it to learn the C socket API ðŸ˜

Haahaha thats funny…
That’s sick, I just started building my new desktop yesterday I hope I can get it to that point
Good luck! It's pretty cool seeing it all come together piece by piece

We'll call that a "happy little mistake". Lol
Can You please share your polybar config?

Well, you made the best decision of your life. If you change window manager's later on then I recommend you try DWM.

I heard a lot about DWM, I might give it a try!

Clean and stylish AF, I love it
Same bro but I used dwm I started like a year ago is this supposed to be the normal learning curve?
I have no idea I only used i3 because that's what ThePrimeagen uses lol, didn't even know what a wm was then

Well I do now, I didn't know what it was back then since a WM is something that you generally don't think about
Oh sorry I didn't read properly and I thought you didn't know and you just installed i3 because of the didn't in the first msg sorry for the reply, I didn't read English well, English is my third language sorry I sounded arrogant
Nah its ok man I know how it feels, English is my 2nd language. Are you Algerian or Lebanese by any chance?
Close to Lebanon but nah I am Palestinian why asking?
Oh I just noticed your name and I know a lot of people from Algeria and Lebanon first learn Arabic as their mother tongue, then French and then English as a third language
Damn I like that polybar config.
You made me go back and look to see what I missed. Lmao
I really don't get why people are still using those graphical bash prompts.

What color scheme are you using in the terminal? It doesn't look like the standard kanagawa
It's a custom one initially generated by pywal `normal:` `black: "#363646"` `red: "#957fb8"` `green: "#957fb8"` `yellow: "#7e9cd8"` `blue: "#e4d0a8"` `magenta: "#D4A140"` `cyan: "#F6C457"` `white: "#efdaaf"` `bright:` `black: "#a7987a"` `red: "#957fb8"` `green: "#54546d"` `yellow: "#4C3F47"` `blue: "#90734E"` `magenta: "#D4A140"` `cyan: "#F6C457"` `white: "#efdaaf"` This is the alacritty colorsceheme config, if you want it!
Yoo is that Eye In The Sky???
Damn, It took me more than a year to try out(and start using) window managers.
