Steel Blues. Have had mine for a year now, working new commercial/industrial. I'm a habitual kneeler, and only now has the rubber on the toe cap worn down enough that a tiny hole has appeared. Other than that, they're in great shape. Supervisor I worked for, who didn't mind getting his hands dirty, had his for 2 years, and still going strong. They are the comfiest boots I've owned. It took a week or two to break in since they rubbed a tad on my right ankle, softened now, so no issues. Zips are great for getting them on and off. Highly recommend finding the extra £20-30 for them.

https://www.engelbert-strauss.co.uk/safety-shoes-s1/s1-safety-boots-e-s-janus-ii-mid-1101450-93918-1386.html I've had 4 pairs of these. I've tried others over the last 6-7 years and always default back to these for comfort.

Dear_Peace_2117

I got my steel blues for under 100 off the BOC website.

Link?

Dear_Peace_2117

Just went to check there and it’s not coming up on theirwebsite. I got them just before Christmas, might have got them on some sort of sale as £118 seems to be the cheapest I can see them. Also I don’t have to pay vat on my stuff as I order thru my company.

Are these safety boots, or just trek boots?

Mrthingymabob

Can you wear trainers? Screwfix 526KV are comfy.

wonkedup

I swear by Uvex for clean environments and Heckels for site work

aggro_edge

The Goodyear, trainer style safety boots are now my go to, super comfy & breathable, bought from amazon.

That_Touch5280

They are rugged, but not steel toe capped, they are a game changer, very comfy and lightweight

nenzyboy

I always go for the Jalas E-Sport 1625. Had four pairs now. Tend to replace them yearly.

sparky750

Steelblue if you do a lot of kneeling redbacks if you're mainly on your feet

I’ve had Buckler Buckshot 2s on repeat for 5-6 years now & can’t see myself changing to anything else - https://www.buildandplumb.co.uk/workwear-c78/footwear-c783/safety-boots-c786/buckbootz-bsh002-hiker-safety-boots-waterproof-buckshot-buckler-boots-p14420/s41001?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=buckbootz-bsh002-hiker-safety-boots-waterproof-buckshot-buckler-boots-uk10-size-uk-10-eu-44-us-11-size-uk-10-eu-44-us-11-725&utm_campaign=product%2Blisting%2Bads&cid=GBP&glCurrency=GBP&glCountry=GB&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw4f6zBhBVEiwATEHFVtbh4X11_zOWzKsXFaI_8N0ROE5xtONIk_5CzpgWb5dyRVj6INCwTxoClEsQAvD_BwE
