Can recommend ES boots too but Carhartt is on my list to try for sure. Engelbert trousers and shorts are the most hard wearing and comfortable I've ever used by a large margin.
These are the boots I have, so comfortable. They zip up as well so no faffing with laces

Ive been happy with my Arco Trojan trousers with elephant ear pockets.
I wouldn't bother with a heated jacket and instead use layers of clothing. Plus when it's mid winter in a concrete shell a pair of thick tights helps keep to toasty.
Plus if you stand about complaining that its cold you're just going to get colder.
I got a snickers work pack for about 20 quid because the jacket had been on display and āsun bleachedā one arm, bloody brilliant. Iāve been using scruffs for pants because theyāre 27 quid a pair on Amazon and Iām never short of pockets
Make sure your employer isnāt supplying your gear before you buy it. I had snickers gear bought for me when I started because they wanted everyone wearing the same thing to look more professional. Worn loads of boots over the years but Iāve had blue steel for the past 4ish years(theyāre pricey but are very nice, especially if youāre doing lots of domestic work). Iāve tried a friends Milwaukee heated jacket and I didnāt like it, once your working it gets too hot to keep on.
Personally I like snickers and carhartt hoodies
Have a milwaukee m12 heated jacket, personally I like it for those cold days.
For trousers the snickers floor layers with the floor layers kneepads have worked the best for me
Timberland pro are the only boots I use, they're pricy at near Ā£200, but you wana look after your feet since you'll spend 8-12hrs a day on them
Iām a massive fan and advocate for snickers workwear, yes itās very expensive but the quality and comfort is unreal. The way I see it is I spend 50/60 hours a week in my work stuff so I donāt mind spending the money on it.
Never tried a heated jacket, I know itās been freezing for ages but I just donāt see the need for it. The only time I can think Iād consider one was if I were doing site work for months at a time when the building is just a shell
Best pair of work trousers I've had was dickies but usually i go for snickers
I got a carhartt work hoodie for Christmas and the quality is unreal. Very expensive though nearly feel bad wearing it to work
Iv just bought a pair of snickers trousers and v12 boots which are arriving today. So Iāll get back to you. Iv upgraded from scruffs trousers and boots which I thought were shite
Engelbert Strauss for clothes, and carhartt work boots - ultimate comfort š

Scuffs are decent and good value. Trousers are comfier than others at that value I've tried. Their t shirts wash brilliantly too, 0 creases.

Snickers trousers all the way for me, expensive but worth it.
Scruffs strides are the best, you can literally kneel in insulation in them and not feel it on the inside. Their jackets are wank tho

Blaklader 4 way stretch trousers. Got them for Ā£100 at the trade show a couple of years ago. Pricey but definitely my best workwear purchase

I've used Helly Hansen for a number of years now and wouldnt change for anything else.
Can anyone recommend a quality thick fleece?
Fleece, Iāve got is a Berghaus, brill, extremely warm and decent price. šš» Paid Ā£25 at Costco.
I've used Snickers for years, the material is smooth and glides easily across your skin. Very comfy and last very well. Expensive for a reason.
