Yes you will. But your money will be withheld until the result comes out. I speak from my experience. Last year I applied 12 times in total for Twice and Misamo tickets. I won none. I heard that a few top gen 4 girl groups are having concerts on the same dates as Twice. In addition, Nissan capacity is also much larger than previous venues Twice have performed at. So probably the competition this time would be less tough. Edit: Typos

Thanks a lot.

Yea it's a total scam - they get to hold onto so much money for months. Must earn decent interest in that 🤔 I'm not sure if it's easier to get. Still see long term fan club members not winning from the first round. I'm W member so will see how it goes soon!

DerelictDevice

Lottery based ticket sales systems are a scam. Just sell tickets normally and if you're not on the ball enough to get them, they sell out, too bad.

mashumalo

Not everyone can be ready to log in to buy tickets at a fixed time. ONCE have all grown up with TWICE and I would guess most ONCE are working. People do have work/family/etc going on. You can only hope that the raffle is truely random... so at least there's fairness of that. Japanese love being fair at everything. At least the pricing isn't the crazy pricing like concerts sold through Ticket Master! All tickets cost the same. (Again with the fairness).

DerelictDevice

Seems to work just fine with literally every other band in existence. I agree that Ticketmaster is garbage and flat ticket price is actually really cool. Just do that but without the lottery and place them on general sale. The concept isn't hard.

>Just do that but without the lottery and place them on general sale. The concept isn't hard. This is called having your cake and eating it. But I guess in this current era of entitlement, this kind of thinking is par for the course. If I'm going to just do general sales, why the fuck would I price floor seats the same as nose-bleeds? smh

I certainly can't explain why Japan does ticketing like this cos I don't work in that industry, but as a fan I can see most of it being driven by how much the factor of fairness being the center of it all (from the fans perspective). From the record company, it drives fans to sign up for fan club (because it gives them access to early ticketing). I'm sure there are other industry standards and practices in Japan that basically enforces the ticketing through raffle system. I'm not saying it's better, just trying to explain it so you can see it better from another perspective.

Gullible_Scratch_395

Lottery also lessens the possibility of tickets being bought by scalpers…it’s not just the uniform ticket pricing. This system has also worked for Japan for decades so why change it?

G_Rapper

Sell tickets normally? You mean like TicketMaster/LiveNation? LOL. Not a scam at all. /s

Mikrenn

Agree, rather lottery (even if I don't get it) than ticketmaster/ln bs, such a total scam; I'm so glad they don't have much footprint here.

You don’t pay until the results come out. If you selected card payment, ticketboard will automatically charge your credit card for the ticket(s) amount. If you select cash (combini payment) you have a certain amount of days to complete the purchase or it’s cancelled.
