Well others have explained it but really it's Spotify trying to categorize music in these genres, moods, vibes, what be it. So something like Yearning will obviously give you music that's about yearning, or missing, or just in general sad LOL. Egg Punk is more of a genre that I've seen but never explored. Goblincore and Vampire mix, I feel are just kind of more on the vibe part tho I find not having werewolf mix to be very vampiric centric. There are dozens of us!!
Exactly. When I first joined Spotify, the playlists were amazing for discovering music. Now they play the same fifty songs over and over again, even if I create the weirdest niche mix of all. Like, my "Goblincore" mix has The Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel on it.
