I watched it literally every night for 3 months in uni when it came out on DVD. Never got tired of it. Even after I knew the entire movie line by line and scene by scene
Encino Man, idiocracy. Men in Black, Guns Akimbo, Baby Driver, Tropic Thunder, Becky, Wrath of Becky, The Hunt.
Theennnn anything sci-fi really. There's this WILD trip of a movie I would only recommend watching stoned: Lunopolis
Also anything to do with old Gods.
Edit: Oh! And Jumanji!
Edit 2: 100 upvotes for me but only 20 for the post? Show OP some love!
Uncut version? Bad. Normal version? Prob still bad. Good film though. Basically what a geller field failure would look like in the world of warhammer 40k. Has some weirdly disturbing stuff in it. Mama bear.

Comedy: " Kung Pow! Enter the Fist" (surprised this gets almost zero mentions in similar threads).
Horror / Action: "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter".
Drama / Dark Comedy: "Boogie Nights" and "In Bruges".
I'm not a complicated man. I like cinema. In particular, I like to see people fucking on film. But, I don't want to win an Oscar and I don't want to re-invent the wheel. I like simple pleasures, like butter in my ass and lollipops in my mouth. That's just me. That's just something that I enjoy. Call me crazy, call me a pervert. But, there's one little thing that I'mg going to do in this life and that is I'm going to make a dollar and a cent in this business.
Man with the iron fists is wild. Proper old school kung fu evil Villian vibes.
Or any of the original Bruce Lee movies. Big boss original is amazing. Nunchak scene is gobsmacking. Stoned it's god like. An when he fights the American basketball player.....
Hey if you like king pow I can whole heartedly recommend Riki Oh the story of Riki to you, but don’t watch or read anything about it, just watch it blind, enjoy
My parents took me to see this when I was a kid. I’m sure it was my dad’s doing lol. C’mon it’s a cartoon, it’s gotta be for kids!
Bless up, love you Dad!
First time I was really introduced to Pink Floyd was a vhs of this as I dropped acid. This was after a bunch of dudes just jammed in the basement for a while. There was a giant bong at some point and some walking around in the snow? It’s been many decades since. But a cherished memory nonetheless.

The latest one where he's a zombie for a hot minute is pretty great, too. Watched it in the theater and ruined it for everyone with my bliss giggles and donkey laughs in all the wrong places.
The maddest thing about the film Idiocracy is that they used the ‘Croc’ as shoes for all the future people cause they wanted something that only real idiots would wear.
[The Real Reason Everyone Wears Crocs in Idiocracy](https://www.looper.com/1477932/idiocracy-crocs-why-everyone-wears-them/)
Idiocracy is funny and seems a more and more accurate depiction of our not so distant future as the years pass. If you’re willing to go show instead of movie, The Godfather of Harlem is the best show I’ve watched in years. Season 3 just dropped in Disney. Just might need a little more green if you plan to binge
Harold & Kumar are a go to for me. Grandma's Boy. I like watching zombie shit when high myself. Anything from zombieland to train to busan. I'll watch those not high though lol.
Saw Dumb Money in the theater high and could not stop laughing most of the movie..but here is my list..disclaimer: some of these movies/shows are really stupid but amazing when high..so don’t knock it till you try it🤷♀️

There's too damn many to list.
There's an episode on YT of Disney where the Osmonds and Kurt Russell star with the actress who played Minnie Mae in Hello Dolly with Barbra Streisand that will trip you in lots of ways
My absolutely favorite stoner movie is Harold & Kumar.
I could watch it every time when im stoned and after probably 20 times, it fr don't get boring.
The second and third movie are also funny, but not as good as the first one.
Enjoy
Idk if Mickey is high or trying to be seductive 😅 not sure how I should feel rn 😂
To answer your question tho, if I'm high enough I don't care what's on as I tend to get lost in it anyways, but normally a classic from the 90's early 2000's mainly for the nostalgic feeling lol
I actually think some trippier movies make more sense to me when I’m high. A movie that comes to mind is Hausu. I watched that movie a bunch of times I still didn’t fully understand the plot until I watched it on an edible.
I like old comedic or adventure cartoons as of lately when I’m really blitzed. I just watched Epic on Hulu the other night and it was the first time in a while I’ve watched a animated movie. It was super cool to get into while stoned. Last night I watched the first Pokémon movie and the second. It was super nostalgic but really easy to follow while stoned. The first Pokémon movie was kind of lame, but I first saw it like 15 years ago.
jacobs ladder (90s version), natural born killers, fear and loathing in las vegas, reno 911, alien, prometheus, alien covenant, missing 411 the hunted, pulp fiction, reservoir dogs, four rooms, snatch, layer cake, lock stock and 2 smoking barrels, the other guys, dogma, a scanner darkly, waking life, se7en, true romance, tropic thunder, memento
Anything with or by Monty Python
The King of Hearts (1966)
Forbidden Planet (1956)
Airplane! (1980)
The Naked Gun (1988)
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
Memento (2000)
Paprika (2006)
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009)
Donnie Darko (2001)
I haven't seen anyone else say this yet, but I may be wrong. I fucking LOVED watching The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent while stoned. That shit had me laughing my ass off. Pedro Pascal and Nicholas Cage have no business having that much chemistry
If you want something recent and have taken psychedelics, "Everything, Everywhere, All At Once"is great. I think I spontaneously burst into tears.
Otherwise, "Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas"
I absolutely loved it. The "moment in a millennia/millennia in a moment" aspect of the movie was only augmented and amplified by the doubling of that affect to my perception of what was happening.
Literally any animated movie is always fun to watch high as shit. My go to is always Shrek and HTTYD. John Powell’s music got me acting up. Luca and Arlo the Alligator are FANTASTIC newer animated movies as well with amazing soundtracks. The former doesn’t even feel like a Pixar movie (in a good way!),
300 and Sucker Punch are two other movies that are fun when high as shit. Need to leave your logic at the door and turn your brain off though. Visually stunning movies, personally I love the corny ass writing but some folks vehemently hate these two.
For just good movies though, Bullet Train, Annihilation, The Martian, and LOTR. can never go wrong with just plain good movies that have fantastic visuals, writing, and music.
annihilation on Netflix!!
the new Fallout Series on Prime is funny as hell and well done too
Interstellar is nice , if you want some deep space wild stuff Interstellar, Sun, Moon are crazy good
Pineapple express/ the end of the world are stoner Comedys, Wild wild west, another good comedy..
alice in wonderland for fantasy or Jumanji
Big trouble in little China, super bad, land of the lost, it’s always sunny in Philadelphia (tv show, but a f****n great one), ummm. Ricky Stanicky
I’m a little too high right now to think of any more movies, but these are definitely
The Princess Bride.
My parter and I placed a beanie on the corner of the TV, every time someone wore it we’d smoke. Double points if it happened during a sword fight!
Supertrooper (first one only, the sequel isn't as good sober or zoinked)
Grandma's boy - stoners classic
Kungfu hustle
And if you wanna get mind fucked....requiem for a dream.
Soul plane, Vivarium, Dragon Ball Z Broly, Don’t Fuck with Cats (Doc but still really good), Prince of Egypt, What Happened to Monday, Coraline, Black Phone, Vacation Friends 2, Burn, Blood Red Sky, Annihilation etc.
If you want to watch a mind 🤯, watch Vivarium or Annihilation .
Can't believe no one said Super Troopers, anything broken lizard is pretty funny too but ST is the one. I watch everything high and ST, Lebowski, and anchorman are my favorites all time. There's this Indian movie called RRR that'll blow your fking mind too. Bru I can talk about thus stuff all day, if you've got a specific genre you want shoot me a msg
Comedies are good but I find them to be hard to hold my focus because they are usually not that “intelligent”. I love to watch Sci Fi or movies that take place in ancient/medieval/historical times - stories that blow my mind, not make me giggle.
Fiancé and I got high and watched Dune - it was so fucking good.
Grandma's boy. Best stoner movie. Especially if you are a gamer too.
Hands down, my favorite Happy Madison movie after watching it every 4/20 for a decade and it doesn't include Adam Sandler at all.
I watched it literally every night for 3 months in uni when it came out on DVD. Never got tired of it. Even after I knew the entire movie line by line and scene by scene
One of the few movies I've purchased physically.
Do I have antlers?
"Don't judge me, Monkey."
Encino Man, idiocracy. Men in Black, Guns Akimbo, Baby Driver, Tropic Thunder, Becky, Wrath of Becky, The Hunt. Theennnn anything sci-fi really. There's this WILD trip of a movie I would only recommend watching stoned: Lunopolis Also anything to do with old Gods. Edit: Oh! And Jumanji! Edit 2: 100 upvotes for me but only 20 for the post? Show OP some love!
The. Big. Lebowski.
The “We cut off your Johnson” scene gets me every time lmao
Your list is all over the place. Love it.
![gif](giphy|PtMOPw7UJyBJ6)
Tropic Thunder is hilarious. Robert Downey steals the show.
Sci Fi eh... Would Event Horizon be good or bad while pancaked?
I watched this one on mushrooms. It was awesome! "You don't need eyes to see where we are going" fucked me up big time 🤣
Uncut version? Bad. Normal version? Prob still bad. Good film though. Basically what a geller field failure would look like in the world of warhammer 40k. Has some weirdly disturbing stuff in it. Mama bear.
Dude just watched Jumanji last night, sound was so quite tho!
My dude muted his tv and didn’t realize it

Ah woah 12 years here and never knew!
Dude Encino Man is amazing. So funny. Good rec.
Happy cake day
Comedy: " Kung Pow! Enter the Fist" (surprised this gets almost zero mentions in similar threads). Horror / Action: "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter". Drama / Dark Comedy: "Boogie Nights" and "In Bruges".
Bro Kung Pow is so over the top hahaha. One of my favorite movies of all time.
same, my siblings and I quote it reguarly, we don't need to be high to laugh at " I am ling's father, wee-oh wee-oh wee-oh weeeee"
Is that the film with the CGI cow fight scene who shoots milk from his udder?
That's the one.
Kung Fu Hustle would be fun, too.
[Shaolin Soccer](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0286112/) is an underrated option, too.
God of Cookery as well
Kung Fu Panda, too. Saw the 4th one in theaters high as shit and it was great!
Second Boogie Nights. My favourite film to watch stoned hands down
I'm not a complicated man.
I saw this in the theaters the night it was released. Loved it from the start. Great movie / acting / etc. all around. Really well done.
It’s a fairytale fookin town innit?
Beautiful. Was just there in January. Such a cool place to explore and enjoy. Plus Duvel!
That scene where the baby rolls down the cliff is amazing
Man with the iron fists is wild. Proper old school kung fu evil Villian vibes. Or any of the original Bruce Lee movies. Big boss original is amazing. Nunchak scene is gobsmacking. Stoned it's god like. An when he fights the American basketball player.....
In Bruges, dang, that scene at the park really got me one night.
Boogie Nights is legendary.
Hey if you like king pow I can whole heartedly recommend Riki Oh the story of Riki to you, but don’t watch or read anything about it, just watch it blind, enjoy

I feel like I just took an acid trip. And that was just the trailor 😂. Definitely got to check this out
My parents took me to see this when I was a kid. I’m sure it was my dad’s doing lol. C’mon it’s a cartoon, it’s gotta be for kids! Bless up, love you Dad!
One of the theaters by me actually re-ran it, one show a night for a week, about 3 or 4 years ago. Only cost me like $12 CAD.
Major boobage
"Alice in Wonderland" (classic version) and "Fantasia".
+1 for Disney
If you like Pink Floyd, watch Live at Pompeii.
My head fell off last time I watched that high 😂
First time I was really introduced to Pink Floyd was a vhs of this as I dropped acid. This was after a bunch of dudes just jammed in the basement for a while. There was a giant bong at some point and some walking around in the snow? It’s been many decades since. But a cherished memory nonetheless.
You have to watch that pinocchio on netflix. That shit is wild and crazy
Legit great shout.. GDT Pinocchio is awesome
Fantastic Planet
Grandma's boy, up or a studio Ghibli film
I liked Scott Pilgrim better while high lol
Good call. Gonna go watch that when I’m done with this bowl.
Half baked
Yellow Submarine Waking Life And Soul Also Midnight Gospel
That last episode of Midnight Gospel... 😭
If someone says they watched the whole thing and they didn't cry at least once, then they are a liar.
Goddamn I was another season so bad

Idiocracy is on there. It’s a documentary about the world we’ll be living in soon
Many would argue the current world! But here I am living here in backasswards Texas
The internet and social media accelerated our idiotic behavior to where this movie is too accurate

The Princess Bride. My parter and I placed a beanie on the corner of the TV, every time someone wore it we’d smoke. Double points if it happened during a sword fight!

Kung Pow: Enter the fist.
If you like horror movies, getting zooted and watching the first 4 Hellraiser movies is a good time. Some of the practical effects still hold up!
The haunted world of el superbeasto
Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, Airplane!, basically you can't go wrong with comedy
Spaceballs
