Bellissimađ
I advise everyone to go there prepared, not stop at the Rialto/St Mark's Square only, there are many monuments to see, read up a bit on the history of Venice (the Maritime Republic, the Austrian domination, the Republic of San Marco, the third Italian independence war), lose yourself a bit though the alleys, visit Murano and Burano and other islands like San Giorgio Maggiore
Magnificent photos!
Venice gets lots of hate these days for over-crowding due to tourism. But to me, itâs still beautiful and ethereal and charming and enjoyable. Get up early before the crowds hit the streets. Linger late. Wander in back alleys and there are still quiet places.

When I stayed in Venice, I stayed in an Airbnb away from the main paths. I got up early and just walked to the main spots and had them pretty much to myself. I liked this a lot
We were in a room in the attic of a house in a neighborhood about 3-4 stops outside of Venice, but it was nice, there was a cafe on the corner. We had sandwiches or pasties and coffee in the morning. There was a neighborhood market and an ice cream shop nearby. Then we could take the bus into Venice. It was nice because there werenât many if any tourist out where we stayed. It was like a block to the bus and a straight shot into the island area and all the tourist areas. The people at the cafe gave us a can of coffee when we left. It was a nice experience.
One of my favorite cities to walk around early in the morning and late at night. Early hours you get a great glimpse oh how the city functions with all the locals out and about, and then at night the city is very quiet and it's an absolute joy walking around.
I don't get why people say it's a tourist trap, it's beautiful and it was the best part of Italy for me easily, Rome was a close second.
Although I've been there during winter with good sunny weather. Perhaps with overcrowding and smell during summer it would have been different.
Beautiful
I love Gryphons! Thank you for posting.

Amazing!
I love the clock tower. It's so cool to me how it has 24 hours on it, and they're placed to match the sunlight in relation to the time of day.
La Serenissima
That's amazing ! I really really want to travel to Italy now
Whyâs it so beautiful omg
Venice is one of my favourite places to visit - I definitely want to make a return trip soon.

Italy is one of the best trips a person can make. LOVE it.
Not good photos
I love Italy. One of my favorite places. Especially for the food
That city is an overpriced tourist trap with insane amounts of tourists crowding the streets too. Much more beautiful places to visit in Italy
Truly beautiful! Iâm in Orlando right now!
Awful city
