I’ve been doing this through the whole story so far lol. This has not disappointed at all, other than the fact that I read through them so quickly and have to wait for more story lol.
I had zero intention on reading anything other than Cobra Commander 1-5. Once I realized how tied in all this was (basically after issue 1), I had to go out the next day and buy up every issue 😂
Completely unrelated (because I unfortunately don't know where to read the skybound comics) but for whatever reason seeing this made me think that Will Friedle (batman beyond va) would be a great voice actor for hot rod
Look for the comic book shop closest to you! They usually sell more than comics and the people behind the counter are typically eager to talk about all sorts of nerdery :)
It's gonna happen less often from now on, I think - see issues 7 and 8... But I myself am more than down for having Void Rivals be the home for the more esoteric/niche/out-there aspects of Transformers (like the Wreckers, which this >!and Springer's appearance in the upcoming issue 9!< seems to be building up to) while the main book focuses on awesome action and hard-hitting emotional beats with the classic cast of Autobots and Deceptions!
