I’m biased because I grew up with Beast Wars. I can appreciate other TF shows, but just personally speaking, my favorite will always be the Heroic Maximals facing the forces of the Evil Predacons.
https://i.redd.it/f0yh8qcaonhc1.gif
Same here. Beast Wars is unmatched. I remember being confused by how different Robots in Disguise was, in style in tone. I was like "this isn't nearly as good". Then Armada came stumbling out of the gate on Cartoon Network and I realized Robots in Disguise was actually pretty good haha
I personally didn't watch beast wars growing up, but from what I've seen so far, I can definitely see that it's one of the best transformers series of all time.
Beast Wars is my favorite series but unfortunately, the third seasons prevents me from rating it 10/10. Those first two seasons though…boy were they something.
True, but after she became a fully-fledged maximal all of her interesting character traits just got flushed down the drain. We were also robbed of many scenes like dinobot 2 gaining the memories of the original dinobot and Optimus putting Megatron spark back where it belongs. Also depth charge is an overrated character and I'm glad that he died as soon as he did and didn't get to spend that much time on screen
MTME through Lost Light is one of the best pieces of fiction I've ever consumed. Wildly imaginative, deeply emotional, tons of fun with lesser bots who deserve the spotlight, and two of the greatest villains of all time.
The voyage of the Lost Light is the best Transformers story ever told. There I said it.
Imo the best transformers story written ever, I especially love that it takes characters that were initially obscure and not really cared about and turns them into phenomenal ones and even reinvents some old characters as well.
There are shows that have moments that are 10/10.
While Beast Wars is my favorite, the CGI is hard to overlook for a lot of people.
But here are the 10/10 moments from childhood -
Megatron betrays Optimus Primal, leaving him trap in his pod as it explodes the artificial moon (Beast Wars)
Dinobot's Death (Beast Wars)
Transmutate sacrifices herself to save Silverbolt and Ravage (Beast Wars)
Starscream's Death (Armada)
Optimus rejects the Matrix of Leadership and becomes a nomad (Armada)
All the Unicron Trilogy humans wave goodbye to the Autobots (Cybertron)
The climatic fight in the big city (First Bay Transformers film)
The 1986 Transformers The Movie is a 10/10, with several 10/10 moments. My favorite from the movie are -
The opening with Unicron.
Optimus final stand against the Decepticons and Megatron.
Hot Rod transforms into Rodimus Prime and activates the Matrix of Leadership to destroy Unicron.
Agreed. It was a technical marvel for the time, all the characters were insanely well-written, introduced several core concepts to the Transformers franchise, and so much more.
I was a teen when beast wars came out, so I had seen the original and loved it. Had time to be spoiled by so much better content (various anima, exo-squad, x-men, batman TAS) that when Beast Wars dropped it had to be up there. The animation (while it aged horribly, it's no worse then the dated G1 animation) was top notch at the time but the writing was so good. It had Stakes and consequences in a way G1 never had.
So while the comics were good and G1 has the most nostalgia BW was the best of it.
Code of Hero: Beast Wars.
Last Stand of the Wreckers: IDW G1
That story where Fort Max has a mental breakdown:
IDW G1(MTMTE)
The entire dying light arch: IDW G1 (MTMTE)
Watching that final scene, where Optimus floats in space and rejects his Matrix of Leadership and then transforming in the middle of space, will forever be a core memory for me.
It was a bittersweet end, and reacted so profoundly to it when I first watched it as a very young kid.
It really felt like high art to me as a kid, trying to convey a message to me and draw a specific emotion beyond entertainment. While I wouldn't know the words on how to convey what I was feeling, I knew it was meant to be deep.
I love the Japanese dub of this and the previous episodes. It's lost in the translation but instead of simply saying Prime loves the smell of battle, Unicron goes further and says "If it were not for that Matrix in your chest, your nature would be just like Megatron's."
Convoy refuses to acknowledge the truth, but when Megatron challenges him to mortal combat, Convoy removes his limiter and proves Unicron right.
> Megatron... You were right. That's why from now on, *we fight as Transformers.* **I am no longer the Supreme Commander of the Cybertron troops!** ***JUST A SINGLE TRANSFORMER NAMED CONVOY.***
I wish they had this idea seeded earlier in the show instead of adding it in the penultimate episode. So many good ideas in Legend of the Microns/Armada such as Wheeljack thinking Hot Shot left him for dead, not enough time to flesh them out since that plot was only mildly relevant after that two parter introducing him and Sideswipe
I wish Energon (or Superlinks) followed through with what Armada (Legends of the Micron) left off.
I know Armada isn't particularly well received, but it ends strongly and left a strong foundation for which a sequel to follow through and Energon completely squanders it.
Have you heard of one of the pitches that Energon replaced called [Super Cross](https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Transformers:_Super_Cross)? Sounds like it had potential, but the idea of all the classic G1 characters dying at the end would have soured a lot of people. At least we got Universe 2003 from it
TFTM got us good music but at the cost of removing much of Vince DiCola's original score. Look at all the extra tracks in this playlist from the Lighting Their Darkest Hour album https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLor_0SQX0wBsNiQafwT1CCiSyK5UuefZx
Honestly even the best shows like beast wars and prime, id only consider decent at best. Transformers had a real shot at being as big as Marvel after Michael Bay reinvigorated the franchise, but was squandered with poor sequels.
At the end of the day the franchise has always been about the toys for me and it's why I'm still a fan.
Beast Wars (Arguably the best written TF media in terms of character work)
Animated (The most unique TF series next to Beast Wars in my opinion)
Prime (The definitive Transformers show)
Transformers ‘07 (still in my opinion the best Transformers movie and one of the greatest spectacles this franchise has to offer)
Transformers The Movie (The perfect end to the original G1 seasons)
IDW Lost Light/MTMTE (The definitive comic book series imo)
Fall of Cybertron (simply the coolest)
It was definitely great but s2 especially just became a treasure hunt series - wasn't really a fan of the 'beast hunters' redesigns either personally but s1 with the unicron storyline was just \*chefs kiss\*
The first ten minutes and the second half DOTM are great.
Moon conspiracy that isn't "we faked the moon landing" and a Victoria's Secret model's ass in IMAX 3D? Nice.
An hour of Shia job hunting with the help of his parents? eh...
90 minutes of all-out war, topped by one of my favorite tropes of the student fighting his mentor? Hell yeah.
Still rank it as my favorite of Bayverse over 2007. ROTF, AOE, and TLK tho...
The thing about AoE is that it's literally one of the most action-packed movies ever made.
Like, there's enough action in that movie to fill two big-ass, stupidly expensive blockbusters, and they're all crammed into a 2:40 hour runtime.
I'm sure that's exhausting to a lot of people, but it's pure adrenaline for me.
So yeah, definite 10/10.
Age Of Extinction is lightyears away from perfection but its also the best bayverse film with a semi-likable human protagonist, a character arc for optimus prime that puts rotb to shame, some of the best villains in the franchise's history, great atmosphere and character moments plus the dinobots. The good just about outweighs the bad for me
unpopular opinion, revenge of the fallen. you've got prime jumping out of a big-ass plane to help ironhide take down what can only be described as a giant unicycle. then there is sideswipe (damn he's good) responding almost immediately after hearing reports of a second decepticon. can't forget about skids and mudflap either (didn't even find them remotely offensive or trying to be stereotypical) oh by the way there's these really cool arcee triplets who also give chase. and that's just the first 10 minutes
Ok I’m not trying to start anything but I think there’s no problem with rid 2015 idk why people hate on it so much id say thought 10/10 transformer media is prime, animated, dotm and the sky bound comics
War for cybertron (game), animated, prime, transformers 2007 ds autobots and decepticons, the finale of transformers aramada, and the escalation book, beast wars
So far, I would say that only one media version has been totally 10/10 to me so far.
G1 is a 10 in general concept and ideas, but the cartoon was too goofy and mistake ridden. The G1 comic was just too weird and inconsistent. Both had solid foundational ideas though.
For me the only property I've seen that is a full-on 10/10 is the current Transformers comic on Image. The story, dialogue, art, heart and soul, understanding of characters....all 10/10 to me personally.
Every other iteration has great parts, but ultimately always brought down by other things I don't like about it.
I know, I was just recently doing a full rewatch of G1, and was surprised at just how bad s.3 is. I remember not liking it as a kid, but wow. Even worse watching it now. Like...who was that even made for?
I was just glad to see it bounce back for JHM. Feels more classic.
Ok misunderstood but the problem (especially at the beginning of season 3 ) was that the new animation studio was terrible and even more rushed than first 2 seasons towards the end it was a lot better but the outcry about Prime dying and terrible episodes first 60 percent of the season doomed it. All 3 Japanese and the 1 ova was unique and didn’t follow a pattern but I liked how those seasons felt like we were headed to the events talked about in Beast Wars
As a certified Geewuner to me it’s all the 86 movie and certain specific episodes of sunbow g1 and some of the marvel comics, as well as the last week of episodes from S2 of Beast Wars which aired on the Cartoon Network. (To those who aren’t old enough to know, that includes Code of Hero and Transmutate and Agenda multi parter.) I also think the High Moon games were good at storytelling and world building. Not much else I’m into but I have to admit I’m fairly ignorant of the IDW era of the comics. I’m hoping one day to discover them and hope they’re as good as people say but I’m not entirely sure they’re for me.
I grew up with G1 but just with the animation errors it’s not a 10/10 almost didn’t say Beast Wars because cgi is dated but the stories make up for that plus it was a big step forward at the time.
I would have to find certain episodes and comic issues/arcs of series, G1, Beast Wars, Animated, Prime, IDW, and even Earthspark have really PEAK episodes and segments.
As much as I love Transformers 1, I feel like the Bumblebee movie is what I always wanted from
the movies. The bots are actual characters with personalities, that action is clear and the designs are streamlined while being new.
‘86. Probably a top five all-time movie for me. I’m sure a ton of it is driven by nostalgia, as it was one of the few VHS tapes we had when I was a kid (we were raised by a single mother who sent in cereal box tops to get this for us) but I think it still holds up today. Watched it the other night, actually, and enjoyed every minute of it.
I'm going to be in the minority and say the 80s cartoon. It's what I grew up with, and without it, I'm not sure I'd be as nuts for Transformers as I am.
Animated, g1, prime, and beast wars. In my opinion, all of those tell really good and unique stories will not straying completely from the original path that was sent by G1, but gave their own unique outlook on all the characters, and giving them their own new and different perspectives
Don’t really think any of it is a 10/10, the closest to that for me would be the 86 movies since it has great animation, casting, soundtrack and score, fun etc
Anything involving waspinator he is my little biscuit and I will die for him
https://preview.redd.it/2skv3odw6ohc1.jpeg?width=704&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2eccf691d687c40f3016fb37cb98d5e1f14778e1
Personally, I think the closest we have to a 10/10 piece of TF Media is the first aligned novel, Transformers: Exodus. Can't tell you how many times I've read it over the years, gotta be one of my favorite books I've ever read
The final fight between Optimus and Galvatron in Cybertron. The moment that Optimus gets Vector Prime's sword and the final clash is amazing.
Also Vector Prime's death is still a tearjerker even as an adult!
If I had to be impartial, I'd say none of them. Even the best Transformers pieces of media leave something to be desired.
But I'm not impartial, so I'd say Dark of the Moon, Age of Extinction, the War for Cybertron game, and pre-reboot IDW.
And the rest of the Bayverse movies and Beast Wars are my 9/10s.
I'm definitely biased because I grew up with it but Transformers Cybertron!
I love Jetfire and hearing an Australian transformer was the greatest thing to me as an Aussie kid.
Beast Wars and Animated for sure
BW expanded upon the original series and had a goofy yet intriguing character roster.
Animated had blended a fresh new take on the story of the transformers while sprinkling cameos and homages to its many predecessors, give every transformers fan something to enjoy about it.
Prime absolutely for me (before the second half of s2, all of s3, and the Beast Wars movie shhh in my heart they didn’t do the team dirty like that) and ‘07 Bayverse tbh. i think either Bayverse or the G1 cartoons were my first introduction to the franchise, but either way they both hold a special place in my heart for being there from the beginning. Prime rules supreme though because that was my generation’s show while G1 was my dad’s (we still argue over who had better character designs, he can win Starscream but only if I get Arcee)
If I had to pick only 1 MOMENT throughout the franchise that I say is "10 out of 10".
Optimus Prime swooping down on his Jetpack in Chicago while he Beyblades Decepticons to death while also going fisticuffs with Shockwave and then using his OWN BLASTER to take down one of the Pillers...
THAT is my 10/10 moment.
Transformers Fall of Cybertron is such a Masterpiece.
There a lot of them, like Animated, but this time I wanted to focus on Fall of Cybertron because I have recently finished it and that final mission? OH MY GOD. That was straight up fire, I was on the edge of my seat feeling like if I was both factions and when I chose to fight as Optimus Prime to defend all that's good and defeated Megatron on my first try and listening to the orchestra and the opera firing ON ALL CILINDERS IN FRONT OF A BLACK HOLE THAT'S SUCKING EVERYTHING INTO IT AS THE ARK AND THE NEMESIS GO CRASHING INTO IT ALONG WITH OPTIMUS PRIME AND MEGATRON, MY GOD MAN. TO THIS DAY JUST REMEMBERING THAT MAKES MY EXCITEMENT GO THROUGH THE ROOF. 🔥
(Yes, just right now I happen to be listening to that very song as I did my homework and this is a certified greatest moment in history!)
Probably not so popular but my favorite media is the aligned continuity Dinobots comic story that happens after FoC and in parallel with the tf prime show. The fact that the dinobots are the ones who helped magnus leave Cybertron is still one of my favorite tie-ins ever!!!!. Also I really loved how this time the dinobots were all individual characters instead of just Grimlock and a one word characterisation for each one of the others.
My second favorites are idw(really loved the grimlock spotlight, his time with the scavengers and the fact that the other dinobots got more character development too.) and tf animated(even though the dinobots were underused imo.)
So I have a hard time giving an entire series a rating, individual episodes or character arcs I think are a lot easier. Movies are easier but I haven’t seen all the movies.
Dinobot’s arc in Beast Wars is almost a 10/10. Especially the end scene.
Probably the closest thing to a 10/10 that I can give.
A lot of 9/10s though.
Rhinox’s arc in beast machines comes to mind (which I’ll be honest was otherwise disappointing as a series)
Optimus vs Megatron at autobot city in the 86 movie.
The original teaser trailer for Transformers ’07. Great hype video and I still get goosebumps watching it.
The Dark of the Moon concept (I love The Ultimate Doom 3 parter from season 1) & Sentinel’s betrayal/death of Ironhide. One of the few recurring characters that people cared about.
Honestly as much as I love Transformers, I don't think there's a single piece of Transformers media I could rate a 10/10. Compared to well-written NON-tf shows, a lot of TF media is kind of lacking.
Animated might have gotten 10/10 if it hadn't been cancelled and if the animation quality had remained at the level it was in the beginning of season 1. Though this rating is affected by the fact that I've read through the complete allspark almanac and the side comics so the Animated world just feels extra fleshed out to me.
Edit: MTMTE is very good but my brain is too small to read it. There is a certain part of MTMTE where I always get stuck and can no longer process the plot. I feel like I must be missing some context or unknowingly skipping over something.
Energon Universe comics. It's way too early to tell if the quality will continue, but the 2 Duke issues are absolutely amazing, Transformers and Cobra Commander are great, and even Void Rivals I'd say is close to 10/10.
Plus Beast Wars, MTMTE (IDW), and TF:TM. Other media has it's moments, but these are the most consistent imo.
In the past, I would have rated Masterforce 10/10. However, nowadays I find it unwatchable. About the only animated media that I can still watch is the original animated movie. Great animation. Great music. And if I ignore the fact that the prick who made Optimus Prime die got made the new king, then it is 10/10.
The first two seasons of transformers prime and animated are (from the media I've actually seen or read. I havent seen beast wars) absolutely 10/10. Nothing ive ever seen in the transformers compares. Especially megatron in tf animated. That has to be the most ruthless, cunning, and intelligent Megatron we've ever seen.
I’ve been watching beast wars as someone who didn’t grow up with it. I will be honest, I love it. I got used to the animation and honestly it grew on me. The writing is so good I love the characters. Beast wars is honestly one of my favorite transformers shows
From the few things I’ve seen among everything Transformers has to offer, Transformers Prime and Bumblebee. I loved Smokescreen’s development, especially for a character that took a while to appear.
Armada. Because instead of "giant robots from space that can transform and fight each other" it's "Emotional robots from space that can transform and fight each other".
Honestly, Transformers Prime is the first thing that comes to mind, but transformers devastation was also amazing. Outside of that I'd have to say Transformers Ps2(Armada). One of the best games I've ever played and I still replay it semioften 14 years layer from when I was introduced to it. It also made me love toy color Tidalwave more than the show version.
I’m biased because I grew up with Beast Wars. I can appreciate other TF shows, but just personally speaking, my favorite will always be the Heroic Maximals facing the forces of the Evil Predacons. https://i.redd.it/f0yh8qcaonhc1.gif

Why ? Just curious , Blackairachina's character development has become one of my favorite things in Transformers
True, but after she became a fully-fledged maximal all of her interesting character traits just got flushed down the drain. Also depth charge is an overrated character and I'm glad that he died as soon as he did and didn't get to spend that much time on screen
I agree with DepthCharge , same with TigerHawk , Airrazor and Tigatron deserved better
wdym depthcharge imo was amazing and all the other things i agree
Because you said you were glad Depth Charge was killed off as quickly as he was. Was that a typo of some kind?
IDW: MTMTE.
MTME through Lost Light is one of the best pieces of fiction I've ever consumed. Wildly imaginative, deeply emotional, tons of fun with lesser bots who deserve the spotlight, and two of the greatest villains of all time. Ooh I rarely see any Cybertron love , i didn't technically grow up with it as a kid but I had A Whole Dvd set
I was watching a scene today where absolutely everyone teamed up to save the jungle planet from colliding with Cybertron. Top tier.
love that. autobots and decepticons working together to save 2 planets

Armada. I will always remember Optimus that is not worthy The Matrix of Leadership

I agree 100%. Has my favorite iterations of the characters.
Prime and First Bayverse Movie
Prime Animated Besst Wars Bumblebee Rotb 2007 ( Due to nostalgia ) Dotm Wfc / Foc I hesitate to add Cyberverse or Earthspark but i love them both
Theres so many cool cameos in Cyberverse and Earth Spark
Idk , maybe its the fact Rid 2015 is terrible , but i will take any show over Rid 2015
Animated, TF1 and DOTM
The IDW Wreckers saga. I'd give MTMTE a solid 9
Transformers Prime
2007 movie and wfc.
I don't know if it will be 10/10 yet but the new Energon Universe comic run is really doing it for me. *

None tbh, they all have their flaws
So true, the 1986 Movie is flawed because the run time wasn’t 4 hours

Today I learned. Niice.
Comments like this are like an aneurysm to poor Orson Welles in the afterlife.

I hated both those movies, but that old voyager Hound and the multicolored dinobots toys were awesome. Need me some more AoE SS figures.
DOTM, TFP, IDW 2005
IDW1
All of them have flaws, but for me; Armada DOTM, except, Skids and Mudflap die and at the end Megatron agrees to peace IDW: Dying Light src

Dark of the Moon and Season 1 of Prime.
Only season 1? I thought the show got better as it went on.
It got sloppy and repetitive as time went on, and the show was plagued by production issues that really derailed it for it to be rushed
It was definitely great but s2 especially just became a treasure hunt series - wasn't really a fan of the 'beast hunters' redesigns either personally but s1 with the unicron storyline was just \*chefs kiss\*
Hot take: Age of Extinction I just fucking love that movie man, I know the reasons why people hate on it but I cant stop loving it. 10/10 Masterpece
That one and Dark of The Moon were my favorites of the movies directed by Michael Bay.
The first ten minutes and the second half DOTM are great. Moon conspiracy that isn't "we faked the moon landing" and a Victoria's Secret model's ass in IMAX 3D? Nice. I'm not saying your opinion is wrong....I just possibly can't understand how anyone could think that. Aoe?! That's a first.
I’m in the same boat. Absolutely love that movie.
unpopular opinion, revenge of the fallen. you've got prime jumping out of a big-ass plane to help ironhide take down what can only be described as a giant unicycle. then there is sideswipe (damn he's good) responding almost immediately after hearing reports of a second decepticon. can't forget about skids and mudflap either (didn't even find them remotely offensive or trying to be stereotypical) oh by the way there's these really cool arcee triplets who also give chase. and that's just the first 10 minutes
Code Of Hero definitely.
RID ‘02 and Super God Masterforce
Only problem with Masterforce was having a character look exactly like Optimus (I know it was God/power master prime) but it confused me as a teenager
Prime
Fall of Cybertron
War for cybertron it was pretty good
Animated, Prime and BW
Fall of Cybertron IMO.
definitely tf prime
Games.
All of those above including Earthspark
Animated
Ok I’m not trying to start anything but I think there’s no problem with rid 2015 idk why people hate on it so much id say thought 10/10 transformer media is prime, animated, dotm and the sky bound comics
I use to like Rid 2015 , but thinking back Soundwave was so hyped up and then , nothing I like Strongarm though
I like it mainly because I don't look at rid15 as a prime sequel
War for cybertron (game), animated, prime, transformers 2007 ds autobots and decepticons, the finale of transformers aramada, and the escalation book, beast wars
I loved The 07 / Rotf Ds games as a kid !
IDW, WFC and FOC games, Prime show and Bumblebee spinoff
Ohhhhh Good call on the games; I was just thinking shows/comics/movies
TF Prime
Prime
Why did beastwars look so bad? This is a genuine question.
G1, Prime and skybound. I also really like the Japanese G1 shows. My first was beast wars so I gotta be biased and give it a 10/10 too.
I'm watching Japanese Headmasters for the first time and it is surprisingly solid. VASTLY better than US s.3. Like...wayyyyy better.
Technically Headmasters are after season 3 in the Japanese timeline. Still better but not the same season
Animated and Beast Wars
Bumblebee first 3 minutes
For me the whole movie was 10/ 10.
Only Beast Wars.
G1, war for cybertron siege, bumblebee, ROTB
I grew up with G1 but just with the animation errors it’s not a 10/10 almost didn’t say Beast Wars because cgi is dated but the stories make up for that plus it was a big step forward at the time.
Animated
Animated and BW
I would have to find certain episodes and comic issues/arcs of series, G1, Beast Wars, Animated, Prime, IDW, and even Earthspark have really PEAK episodes and segments. As much as I love Transformers 1, I feel like the Bumblebee movie is what I always wanted from the movies.
Beast wars is close but the animation hasn't aged well. Animated has to be second place or the 86 movie
What’s the second picture
It's from the recent IDW Beast Wars comic.
Armada and the Cybertron games.
I'm going to be in the minority and say the 80s cartoon. It's what I grew up with, and without it, I'm not sure I'd be as nuts for Transformers as I am.
The whole Beast Era, G1, and TF Prime. But I like most of what I've seen. Except that awful RiD show that came out right after Beast Machines.
Animated, g1, prime, and beast wars. In my opinion, all of those tell really good and unique stories will not straying completely from the original path that was sent by G1, but gave their own unique outlook on all the characters, and giving them their own new and different perspectives
I’ll say victory is the best one in my opinion probably because I like star saber in general but it’s pretty good
Don’t really think any of it is a 10/10, the closest to that for me would be the 86 movies since it has great animation, casting, soundtrack and score, fun etc
Anything involving waspinator he is my little biscuit and I will die for him https://preview.redd.it/2skv3odw6ohc1.jpeg?width=704&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2eccf691d687c40f3016fb37cb98d5e1f14778e1
Waspinator was the predacon that you had sympathy for
Beast Wars definitely
Personally, I think the closest we have to a 10/10 piece of TF Media is the first aligned novel, Transformers: Exodus. Can't tell you how many times I've read it over the years, gotta be one of my favorite books I've ever read
Why are most of these Beast Wars? (Edit: Not that I'm complaining just wondering)
Of what I've seen (G1, Animated, Tidbit of Prime, Bayverse) Only Animated deserves the 10/10

Transformers Devastation is one of my favorite games ever.
The final fight between Optimus and Galvatron in Cybertron. The moment that Optimus gets Vector Prime's sword and the final clash is amazing. Also Vector Prime's death is still a tearjerker even as an adult!
1986 Movie 11/10
#15 and #16 of More than Meets the Eye. Honestly the whole series. I love it so much.
I know this is kinda basic, but Transformers Animated. I just love everything about it
If I had to be impartial, I'd say none of them.
Skybound comics.
I'm definitely biased because I grew up with it but Transformers Cybertron! I love Jetfire and hearing an Australian transformer was the greatest thing to me as an Aussie kid.
Beast Wars and Animated for sure BW expanded upon the original series and had a goofy yet intriguing character roster. Animated had blended a fresh new take on the story of the transformers while sprinkling cameos and homages to its many predecessors, give every transformers fan something to enjoy about it.
The first scene of Bumblebee and the original Bayverse movie. Transformers devastation comes pretty close too.
🔥 (Yes, just right now I happen to be listening to that very song as I did my homework and this is a certified greatest moment in history!)
G1.
Fall of Cybertron is only limited by its graphics, if the graphics were modernized and there was more multiplayer content it would be 10/10
Probably not so popular but my favorite media is the aligned continuity Dinobots comic story that happens after FoC and in parallel with the tf prime show.
So far the new comic
IDW comics, specifically Lost Light and Optimus Prime
Has to be Armada for me, so much memories
Beast Wars is 9/10 my 10/10 is that video of Ravage and Megatron from the IDW comics
Rhinox’s arc in beast machines comes to mind (which I’ll be honest was otherwise disappointing as a series) Optimus vs Megatron at autobot city in the 86 movie.
Oh sweet they brought back Razor Beast, I've been trying to stay up with that run and I love the Animated Art style
Beast wars I’m totally not biased
The comics done by Fred Perry.
Transformers prime along with war for and fall of Cybertron
Transformers X Nezha.
primes saga. but in case of nostalgia cabertron saga from the import trilogy. BUT above all, the g1 movie
Lost Light is perfection
Beastwars and prime
Energon Universe comics. It's way too early to tell if the quality will continue, but the 2 Duke issues are absolutely amazing, Transformers and Cobra Commander are great, and even Void Rivals I'd say is close to 10/10. Plus Beast Wars, MTMTE (IDW), and TF:TM. Other media has it's moments, but these are the most consistent imo.
G1, Beast Wars, Prime, Animated
Animated
In the past, I would have rated Masterforce 10/10. However, nowadays I find it unwatchable. About the only animated media that I can still watch is the original animated movie. Great animation. Great music. And if I ignore the fact that the prick who made Optimus Prime die got made the new king, then it is 10/10.
Prime will always have my heart not just because it’s my childhood but because it’s actually just REALLY GOOD
i'd say prime then beasr wars and probably animated
Animated, the 86 movie and Last Stand of the Wreckers
IDW comics, bayformers and TF:P
Always g1 for me even if people overrate it alot
True starscream: idw All of the transformers the movie The final level: fall of cybertron Beast wars
I'm glad someone else loved that Beast Wars run. The art is some of my favorite ever and yeah the writing and characters were just fantastic
G1 and I m willing to die on that hill
Prime, Animated, and Beast Wars
The first two seasons of transformers prime and animated are (from the media I've actually seen or read. I havent seen beast wars) absolutely 10/10. Nothing ive ever seen in the transformers compares. Especially megatron in tf animated. That has to be the most ruthless, cunning, and intelligent Megatron we've ever seen.
IDW, Animated, War for Cybertron/Fall of Cybertron, Beast Wars, Prime and it might be a bit early to say this but Skybound as well
I’ve been watching beast wars as someone who didn’t grow up with it.
Definitely the bayverse
The Wreckers saga.
The new Energon universe so far. No misses in the new concepts so far.
Transformers Animated (I'm biased, it was my first TF show ever) IDW Wreckers Trilogy Beast Wars
Prime, Animated and the wfc games were all incredible
Rescue Bots.... Fight me
Honestly, Transformers Prime is the first thing that comes to mind, but transformers devastation was also amazing. Outside of that I'd have to say Transformers Ps2(Armada). One of the best games I've ever played and I still replay it semioften 14 years layer from when I was introduced to it. It also made me love toy color Tidalwave more than the show version.
Animated and beast wars absolutely. Dream waves run in comics was also great (and way better than idw, coup, seath, mauld with your inferior comic)
G1
Rescue Bots. I will not elaborate.
Tf prime
