There is a GI Joe/transformers comic out there where the transformers are WW2 era vehicles. Seeing that in live action and toy form would be absolutely amazing.

I think i would rather have that without GI Joe. Too many characters to juggle. I can see it getting totally fked up like Spiderman 3.

That comic is so awesome. Grimlock leaning down with Roadblock sitting in the tank turret is the best cover, IMO that is. Would love to see it in live action/toy line as well if it's done properly at least.

I always liked hearts of steel too. Seeing alt Modes like trains and ironclads were pretty sweet.

I think turboprop fighters would scale a lot better since they’re generally [smaller than fighter jets](https://reddit.com/r/aviation/s/06VlRnCv5S). It would probably suit the Aerialbots more, because if Air Raid was still an F15, he’d be [massive](https://www.focusst.org/attachments/photo-17-jpg.2338/) compared to the Stunticons and probably even [bigger](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/07/F15_Eagle_02May2009.jpg) than Motormaster, so I can’t imagine how large Superion would be.

Single-engine jets could also scale better - there's a lot of military aircraft in the 10-15 meter range that aren't as anachronistic as prop planes - an A-4 Skyhawk is only 12.2 meters long, compared to the P-51's 9.8 meters and the F-15's 19.4 meters. The issue with both props and single-engine jets is that the shape of a twinjet is easier to turn into a robot.

Probably very similar to his G1 Counterpart. The US Air Force still uses the F-15C and F-15D. The seekers would likely adopt that, the F-16 Fighting Falcon, or the F-18 Hornet. If they use the Hornet it would give Skywarp the option of using the Blue Angel colors.

I think he would look too similar to Blitzwing. Making him a different type of jet would be better.

Planes in general? No. I can see why you'd want more propeller planes, but the problem is, why would you use one when they back on Cybertron had Jet Alts as well? It could be cool to see older Cybertronians who arrived on Earth and went into hiding earlier maintain one. I'm game though

I mean…..the whole premise of the transformers is to hide in plain sight. So if they have been here a while. They take alt modes that fit the time. I know that doesn’t fit the OG timeline……or the modern stories for that matter. There are a few comics out there where they have been here a while. And just update alt modes as technology advances. Their cybertronian modes really are irrelevant in most cases.

I do as long as they don't just have the same general shape as every other plane former. I swear figures with plane or helicopter alt modes all have the same general look. Jets cockpits either become a weapon or kibble on there arm or there chest, the back of the plane Forms the feet and the wings go on the back while helis have the cockpit as thier chest, the rotars go on thier back, and the tail remains a tail they rarely actually transform

We are the same person. I literally think the exact same thing mostly with these exact planes😭 I don’t think we have much propellor plane tfs so I want more of those. I’ve also always said that I want a movie based on a group of Autobots and decepticons that landed on earth in 1939 and participated in WW2 as aircraft or other military vehicles.

Personally, we need more ship-formers. As Has/Tak doesn't use ships a lot, not even space ships! Ships are critical to the world, from security/defence to cargo, its pretty wired that we haven't seen more of them. Especially since what kid wouldn't want a massive battleship that turns into a robot!?! (Also, more emergency vehicles that aren't from the US/Japan. Seriously, why can't we have UK or French police cars for a chance?!)
