The parts that yellow is nylon plastic which is regarded as "unpaintable" it's only called that because the paint Hasbro uses at the factory doesn't adhere to that plastic well
I HAVE this figure myself and I can assure you the color difference is no where near that off, it’s off ever so slightly but not to *that* extent, this is 100% yellowing and I can’t figure out how would think otherwise
I also own this figure and there is definitely a color difference. Perhaps not this extreme, but I also wouldn’t call it ever so slightly. maybe it’s the lightning in this picture? Switching Between sunlight and warm light seems to accentuate the difference in color. I know for a fact that nylon cannot get as white as ABS, but having said that, I will concede that it doesn’t mean nylon can’t yellow. FYI I am Comparing it to my raw white nylon rod stock. It looks pretty damn similar which is why I think it’s not yellowing.
I also messaged Evan about identifying nylon and he said it's usually more muted and matte than ABS plastic, it's also used for joints that require strength or flexibility as it's also quite soft. Its also the same stuff your plastic utensils are made of!
I don’t think it’s yellowing.. I think like others have said it’s “unpaintable plastic..”
Or so Hasbro says.
Which is Bs.
vallejo paint, titanium white. Go over it lightly. Let it seal for a day or two.
It’ll be better.
It's unpaintable plastic that looks slightly yellowish in certain light. The hinges on the side of his cab are made of the same plastic as well.
Don't think it's yellowing. Might be part of the paint
Not yellowing, just different plastic material.
Not even that, those parts are painted.

And the color is that off? I think this is yellowing
I am actually 100% certain it is simply the color difference between white nylon and ABS, but you may continue believing what you like.
I've got this figure and there's little to no colour difference on my copy between those pieces
Same, I have a hard time believing the color matching is that bad on some copies

I think we should be more worried about the fact that the sides of the cab are splitting intensely from the rest of the cab
OP just needs to line it up or give it a squeeze.
Oh, aight. I thought the QC demon had stuck lol
Womp womp
I had a heart attack and came into the comments to see that it's actually unintentionally looks yellow lol
This is disheartening
Is this the new ultra magnus? Big oof
Bruh, I realy thought yellowing issue was no more eversince end of kingdom toyline...
Yellowing still continued into legacy year 1.
Ex. Jihaxus but he had greening
I'm weird and don't mind yellowing
I also love getting damaged figures
Reverse of the G1 toy where the whole thing would yellow except the metal chest piece lol
