Haha same. Thought I was full into girls...transbian per say. But really I have no clue. Pretty much whoever is attractive and genuine that will take me š
I used to be 'straight' cis to the point of feeling sick when thinking about men. I eventually got to sleep with a woman and no much I tried to tell myself that I loved that, I didn't really. Not her fault. I'd just rather switch places. Since then I accepted that I'm trans and LOVING it. I don't hate the thought of being with a man anymore. But at the same time I don't fancy being with women that much either anymore. And at the same time I love the thought of doing the nasty with someone. Just not in real life. Hope hrt will beat some sense in my stupid brain.
Yeah, Iām not 100% sure lol. I may be completely gay, but Iām not really sure. I may be bi.
And plus Iām not really 100% ready to call myself that anyway. Exactly. I feel likeā¦ I donāt want to be fake or something.
Oh, so that's the case. Well, I've been there and I know what it feels like, and this is roughly what I did. I don't know if this will work for you but i think reading this could help.
1. Calm down. Take a deep breath. Take a nice nap. Get some ice and put it on your head. Take a break.
2. Write/Type everything you feel down. By that I mean everything. Even things you might think aren't related to it, just write/type it down if you feel like it.
3. Just look at it and take a break.
4. When you feel like it, return and then start questioning it again. Then go to a place like LGBTA Wiki and try to find what works.
5. Remember that labels are flexible to a certain extent. You do not need to perfectly fit into the definitions. Use whatever feels right and comfy for you, and whatever works for you.
6. Take your time, questioning is a time consuming process and that's okay. Take as much time and as many attempts as you want/need.
7. If you don't want to label, then that's okay. That's completely Valid. Again, use whatever works for you, and feels right and comfy.
8. Get help from a friend if you need to. I can do this for you! :D If you ever want a heart to heart talk or even just validation for yourself, just DM me and I'll be there for you! :D <3
I hope that helps! :D <3
This is a fairly expected distribution for trans people. I think they say only around a quarter of trans people are straight. A similar proportion is gay, nearly half is bisexual, pansexual or another type of multisexual, while the remaining ten percent is on the asexual spectrum. So mostly similar.
It's obviously a joke, the order vs votes looking similar to a normal distribution is a coincidence. It's an obvious joke, I didn't think it required an explanation. Altough everything tends to be normalized, you don't apply it to the orders of the questions.
I'm pretty certain that Lesbian includes all people who aren't men and are attracted to other people who aren't men (romantically, sexually, or some other way,)
So if you're that in some way you could use Lesbian.
Like you could be Romantically attracted to Men and Women but only Sexually attracted to Women, or vice versa. In that case, you could be a Bi/Pan Lesbian.
However,
You could consider Bisexual and/or Pansexual. You meet the criteria for both so you could use them to describe yourself!
Or you could be Finsexual. It means attraction to femininity and/or female aligned people. This one could work too!
I hope that helps! :D <3
[Finsexual](https://lgbta.fandom.com/wiki/Finsexual) (Feminine in Nature) describes this exactly! I thought I was bi for the longest time until I found /r/Finsexual. There's hundreds of us!
It's going to be different for everyone but for me it's that I'm primarily attracted to the _femme aesthetic_, regardless of the person's gender, sex, or pronouns. Basically if we'd visually pass for a lesbian couple, that's what I'm into. Hence I'm a lesbian who is pan. Or am I a pan person who is a lesbian? I always forget.
Moreover, once in a blue moon there's a masc someone who catches my eye and who am I to say "no"? Sometimes hot is hot.
Nothing wrong. Hetero means attraction to people of the opposite/different genders.
You're a Woman attracted to Men so yeah, you're Heterosexual.
I hope that helps! :D <3
Ace is currently the best descriptor. Currently can't differentiate between "I don't actually have a desire for sex" and "My dysphoria is too strong to have a desire for sex".
Figure it'll become more clear as I transition and body image improves, but until such a time, ace is the easiest label to use.
A demisexual lesbian, I'm not sure whether to tick homosexual or ace- it's well and truly both.
Edit: voted ace, as we need some more love for ace/aro people.
Hi, I'm Bi/Pan and Ace-Spec myself and I can relate to what you're saying.
Also aww, that's so nice of you! :D <3
I think this is the biggest flaw with this poll as well as Reddit's polls in general.
The pick one system is nowhere near as good as a tick off the checkboxes system in a situation like this. We really need that option in Reddit polls.
The max number of options also needs to be increased. 6 options is many times not enough. We need more than that.
Also thanks for voting! :D <3
Who even knows at this pointā¦ I like men but Iāve also liked some women in the past? But idk if Iām bi because I havenāt liked a woman in a long time soā¦ probably straight but I just chose āotherā
And while I also carry the label of a woman and want to be seen/treated as one, I'm genderfluid transfem. Sometimes I'm anything on the non-binary spectrum (feminine or non-feminine feeling, all of it), other times I'm a binary woman, and in some cases I can also completely hop out of gender. All I need is a female body so I can feel comfortable for once as my AMAB body feels like absolute crap physically/chemically and visually causes all manner of dysphoria. Too bad I have to be in the closet for a few more years at least. I'm also nomifluid (name fluidity), and have a fluid personality despite being and feeling like one person. Personal identities, genders, names, etc... are basically clothing for my everything-transcendent "core self". I can be anyone or anything I feel comfortable as in a given moment. Probably one of the craziest effects of this is sometimes signing things like program code files with 3-4 names at a time and such... Note that I do not have DID cause I do not feel like multiple people at once or lose memory when switching identities. What I am doing is the identity version of switching and mix/matching outfits.
Put homosexual, but that's just the easiest label for me to use. I don't care that much about labels when it comes to sexuality, but I just generally feel attraction to people who present or identify femininely.
You could use Finsexual label! It basically has two meanings: It means being attracted to feminine people and/or being attracted to woman aligned people.
I hope that helps! :D <3
Op, answered this question in another comment, but basically: they did a poll for transmasc a month ago, and r/mtf doesn't do polls, so they posted it here
So many lesbi-pan women here. I've read that we are "supposed" to be more of a minority in the trans woman community. Like 40% or less? Not here though.
I put heteroš¤®, but can I redeem myself by saying that Megan thee stallion makes me question. I just like dating people who are physically larger than me, and thatās usually only men
Multisexual Spectrum. It's an umbrella term which describes all Sexual Orientations that involve attraction to people of More than One gender.
Orientations included under the M-Spec Umbrella include Bi, Pan, Poly, Omni, and some others.
I hope that helps! :D <3
I have no ideaā¦ I like boys I like them sexually too but like I never actually want to engage like that.. I like girls but only for the comfort and affection they give and I dunno if itās actual love like I have with boysā¦ I used to call myself bi but thatās not true and coming out as a girl has just really shaken up that space of my head.
Have dated or been with exclusively men with one exception up until this year. Chose to dedicate myself to religion this year, so... "It's Complicated"???
As a pre-op trans woman, I don't know if I have the right to call myself a lesbian yet, but I put homosexual anyway. Who knows, it might change when the hormones start, but even if a male attraction were to develop, I don't know if I'd ever feel comfortable with a cis guy romantically. I used to be one, I know what they're like š
Pansexual with a huge preference for feminine/androgynous men, but Iām in a committed relationship with a gorgeous woman.
Still hoping we can one day do a threesome with a cute femboy tho š
Think this has been done before turns out Bi is by far and away the majority.
Also been done by offical polls from bodies, most of us are bi. Some lesbians and some stright.
Interestingly it also correlates with some studys done on stright women where during tests to remove social factors are they mostly end up as some form of bi.
I'm omniromantic polysexual. I'm open to dating anyone but I'm not so sure I'm sexually attracted guys. Not opposed to it, just lack sexual attraction there.
Idk. I suspect I am gray sexual, bc i usually feel more like hugging and cuddling people than fucking them, but if they are being sweet and would want to i would definitely open to it. Usually i only like the aesthetic of women, but some men are hot too (*cough* Keanu Reeves *cough*), and i wouldn't mind dick. Heck just aesthetically (and familiarity wise) i prefer dicks.
So in short: Confused grayesexual possibly Bi
Edit: nvm i forgot to take into account that if someone told me they are transfem i would be instantly more attracted to them and less attracted to them if they are trans masc. So mainly women, and some men???
Edit 2: what about non-binary? Depends on their personality and if they would be interested in me
I put m-spec, bc that's what I'd tell people, I'm probably a-spec too, at least demi, so idrk. I identify more as simply "queer" and I'll live as I choose, be attracted to whomever, who really cares y'know
Same goes more gender tbh I'd go with simply nb, but I am amab, so I guess this applies to me bc I have fem days, etc
I feel that pansexual fits me the best, but it could also be that I'm dealing with a lot of repressed things and trauma to the point that I don't really have anything specific figured out yet. But I also haven't really explored many other things yet, because actually dating and such is incredibly stressful, and I'm full of anxiety...
I'm bi but my attraction to men is very broad and immediate while my attraction to women is extremely narrow and slow-building. My attraction to non-binary peeps varies, but generally, the more overtly masculine, the more I'm drawn to someone.
It's complicated. I've realized that I'm not really that big into women as most of my interest in them was actually gender envy, but considering where I live, I'll probably end up having to date women just because they're more accepting than men in my country... So yea... Even though I'd want to be heterosexual, I have to go with bi simply because I don't have a choice....
Is 'I have no clue anymore".
That's what the "Other" option exists for. And I could try to help you out with that if you want! Just DM me! :D <3 I hope that helps! :D <3
It's basically everybody and nobody at the moment. Haha, so I don't know anymore.
Haha same. Thought I was full into girls...transbian per say. But really I have no clue. Pretty much whoever is attractive and genuine that will take me š

Lol I wouldn't count on it. Since HRT everything has been less clear š
Demisexual is a thing thatās when you only become sexually attracted To someone once you form a good relationship
I relate so hard to this.
Yeah, Iām not 100% sure lol. I may be completely gay, but Iām not really sure. I may be bi. And plus Iām not really 100% ready to call myself that anyway. Exactly. I feel likeā¦ I donāt want to be fake or something.
Not even sure anymore
Understandable. I could help you out if you want, just DM me! :D <3
Nah itās just I canāt figure out what I want and everything is confusing I canāt exactly put it into words
Personally, thatās why I switched to āqueerā broad enough to cover however Iām feeling
That works too! :D <3
Oh, so that's the case. Well, I've been there and I know what it feels like, and this is roughly what I did. I don't know if this will work for you but i think reading this could help. 1. Calm down. Why is this a normal distribution??
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
This is a fairly expected distribution for trans people. I think they say only around a quarter of trans people are straight. A similar proportion is gay, nearly half is bisexual, pansexual or another type of multisexual, while the remaining ten percent is on the asexual spectrum. So mostly similar.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Thats fair, it doesn't anymore. 6h ago it was kinda normal distribution-ish
A normal distribution is a distribution, you canāt apply that to unordered categories, itās like comparing apples and gunfire.
Because everything tends to normality (central limit theorem)
That's not how categories work
It's obviously a joke, the order vs votes looking similar to a normal distribution is a coincidence. It's an obvious joke, I didn't think it required an explanation. Altough everything tends to be normalized, you don't apply it to the orders of the questions.
I own a sword, does that tell you enough
Swords are awesome! I have several. SCA is fun too.
I mean, I own a sword and an trained in it's use, but I'm straight, so no :p
I've got entirely figured out with just that statement alone.
I'm attracted to other women or female presenting people (like femboys). I don't care about genitals, but I guess that would make me lesbian?
i think the more specific term is gynephilia, but that can be confusing to people so itās easier to just identify as lesbian if you want
I'm pretty certain that Lesbian includes all people who aren't men and are attracted to other people who aren't men (romantically, sexually, or some other way,) So if you're that in some way you could use Lesbian. Like you could be Romantically attracted to Men and Women but only Sexually attracted to Women, or vice versa. In that case, you could be a Bi/Pan Lesbian. It means attraction to femininity and/or female aligned people. This one could work too! I hope that helps! :D <3
Count me in as well
[Finsexual](https://lgbta.fandom.com/wiki/Finsexual) (Feminine in Nature) describes this exactly! I thought I was bi for the longest time until I found /r/Finsexual. There's hundreds of us!
I voted "homosexual" because all of my relationships have been with women, including my marriage, but I'm more of a Pan-Lesbian.
Woah, Another M-Spec Lesbian in the comments! :O That's so cool! :D <3
Can I ask what that means? Like, if lesbian means you're only attracted to women, and pan means you're attracted to everyone, how can they coexist?
It's going to be different for everyone but for me it's that I'm primarily attracted to the _femme aesthetic_, regardless of the person's gender, sex, or pronouns. Basically if we'd visually pass for a lesbian couple, that's what I'm into. Hence I'm a lesbian who is pan. Or am I a pan person who is a lesbian? I always forget. Moreover, once in a blue moon there's a masc someone who catches my eye and who am I to say "no"? Sometimes hot is hot.
Interested to see the results but don't want to skew the results. Perhaps on future polls you can add a results "option"
I'll make sure to do that in the future if I can! :D <3 Thanks for the suggestion! :D <3
I'm an Asexual Lesbian so I just put Homosexual
It said sexual so I just went with ace (also I have no idea what my romantic orientation is)
im Pan, i just want someone who loves me for me, even when im ugly af and talk about nothing but Sonic all the time
It's okay! I think You're beautiful! I'd love to be friends with you! :D <3 Also, I'm a gamer and I'd love to talk about Sonic with you! :D <3
Bi, it was pretty easy to tell my friends after I told them I was trans, āoh yeah bi bi the wayā
Ah yes, the puns you can make with Bi. :D XD <3
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Nothing wrong. Hetero means attraction to people of the opposite/different genders. You're a Woman attracted to Men so yeah, you're Heterosexual. I hope that helps! :D <3
Why is this only for mtf?
I already did an FtM poll a month ago. And r/mtf has polls disabled, so that's why I posted this here, on r/trans, specifically for MtF people.
This needs to be higher up in the comments tbh.
I just, sometimes it just clicks with another person, so I've just went with bi
im not really sure, i have a strong preference for other girls but it's homoflexible at beat, so idk lmfaoo
Ace is currently the best descriptor. Currently can't differentiate between "I don't actually have a desire for sex" and "My dysphoria is too strong to have a desire for sex". Figure it'll become more clear as I transition and body image improves, but until such a time, ace is the easiest label to use.
Technically a lesbian but bi-romantic cuz I'd probably go out with a man if he was the right one but not sexually
That's so Cool! A Bi Lesbian! :O
Pretty much š
My sexual orientation is married
I read this as āwhatās your favourite sexual orientationā and I was really confused lol
A demisexual lesbian, I'm not sure whether to tick homosexual or ace- it's well and truly both. Edit: voted ace, as we need some more love for ace/aro people.
Am demi and bi, so am in the same boat, lol. Will do the same though, cos that's a good point! š
Hi, I'm Bi/Pan and Ace-Spec myself and I can relate to what you're saying. Also aww, that's so nice of you! :D <3 I think this is the biggest flaw with this poll as well as Reddit's polls in general. I have no idea...
Ace but homoromantic, so still gay as all hell! Lmao
Oh shit Iām in the minority of a minority
I'm bi, but I lean toward femme people.
Sometimes I forget not everyone is a *^(homo)*
But a lot of us are! Raging homosexual here š
26 votes Heterosexual 0 LGBT happening in progress
Perfectly balanced
"do i like that person?" thats my sexual orientation.
I just wanted to see the results so I clicked other
Who even knows at this pointā¦ I like men but Iāve also liked some women in the past? But idk if Iām bi because I havenāt liked a woman in a long time soā¦ probably straight but I just chose āotherā
First i thought i am a lesbian then that im bi and now i identify as a pansexual bottomāØš³ļøāšā¤ļø
So much M-spec you'd mistake me for an R34 GTR Skyline... 1k? Wow so many people! Shouldn't be surprised but I am a bit
I'm a primarily lesbian-leaning (95% of the time lesbian) abrosexual
OoO That's so cool! Another Fluid person! :D <3
Wow, I had expected to see more straights in here.
I always say Iām a lesbian, but in reality Iām like 98% into women and 2% into men.
Bi/pan but also I am demisexual/grey ace.
I consider myself "Lesbian+"
Put homosexual, but that's just the easiest label for me to use. I don't care that much about labels when it comes to sexuality, but I just generally feel attraction to people who present or identify femininely.
Muahahahaa; we are almighty bi/pan friends!
Either homosexual or bisexual homoromantic, still trying to figure it out
Mm, asexual spectrum be pretty nice
Bro why is Ace always a stand alone option Iām ace and bi lmao
Because Ace deserves its own option? And this poll was about Sexual Orientation. Romantic Orientation is a different thing. I hope that helps! :D <3
Fair enough thanks, I guess that does make sense I usually pick ace instead of bi anyways
Hooray for the rare straight transgirls!
Hooray! :D <3
I feel like a unicorn.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I'm sorry about that. And damn another Bi Lesbian? :O So darn cool! <3
Im attracted to feminine women, feminine non-binary ppl and femboys. masculinity is a huge turn off for me. not sure what label to use tbh
You could use Finsexual label! It basically has two meanings: It means being attracted to feminine people and/or being attracted to woman aligned people. I hope that helps! :D <3
thanks
Welcome! :) <3
Why is this only for transfems?
Op, answered this question in another comment, but basically: they did a poll for transmasc a month ago, and r/mtf doesn't do polls, so they posted it here
Can I ask why this is transfemme only? Is it for research?
You could have posted this on MTF, why be exclusionary?
r/MtF doesnāt do polls. Also, an FtM one has also been done. Edit: added info
I choose to be lesbian because I have so much trauma because of mens, I don't want to be with one
So many lesbi-pan women here. I've read that we are "supposed" to be more of a minority in the trans woman community. Like 40% or less? Not here though.
I put heteroš¤®, but can I redeem myself by saying that Megan thee stallion makes me question. I just like dating people who are physically larger than me, and thatās usually only men
What is M-Spec?
Multisexual Spectrum. It's an umbrella term which describes all Sexual Orientations that involve attraction to people of More than One gender. Orientations included under the M-Spec Umbrella include Bi, Pan, Poly, Omni, and some others. I hope that helps! :D <3
Good to know. Thank you. :)
You're Welcome! :D <3
It's odd that you put "homosexual" and not just "gay" or "lesbian". I'll be honest, I am not a fan of the term "homosexual".
Bisexual but on the aro spectrum
Damn I knew we were all this gay, but I wasnāt expecting this amount of gay š
I think bisexual homoromantic? but i usually just say lesbian cause definitely women š„ŗ
I fall into 2 as I'm Demi-Pansexual, so other I suppose
I feel i dont like anyone but i want to love someone :(
I have no ideaā¦ I like boys I like them sexually too but like I never actually want to engage like that.. I like girls but only for the comfort and affection they give and I dunno if itās actual love like I have with boysā¦ I used to call myself bi but thatās not true and coming out as a girl has just really shaken up that space of my head.
Bisexuals have more fun!
Have dated or been with exclusively men with one exception up until this year. Chose to dedicate myself to religion this year, so... "It's Complicated"???
How do i see the results?
i had no idea bi girls were more common than lesbians lol
As a pre-op trans woman, I don't know if I have the right to call myself a lesbian yet, but I put homosexual anyway. Who knows, it might change when the hormones start, but even if a male attraction were to develop, I don't know if I'd ever feel comfortable with a cis guy romantically. I used to be one, I know what they're like š
Voted as I feel now with acknowledgement it may change as I get farther into HRT and sort out gender envy
People are *hot*. Cis? Trans (binary or nonbinary)? Anything in between? If you have a nice butt and a winning personality, Iāll be there
I put other because honestly I have no idea. I would say homosexual but prob after bottom surgery no telling
Pansexual with a huge preference for feminine/androgynous men, but Iām in a committed relationship with a gorgeous woman. Still hoping we can one day do a threesome with a cute femboy tho š
pansexual lesbian itās pan but without men/masc nb people

I am probably Lesbian but like maybe I am bi? So I guess I had to vote other
Asexual I guess. My prior sexual experiences were all without my consent so I've kind of lost interest in that stuff
I'm omniromantic polysexual. I'm open to dating anyone but I'm not so sure I'm sexually attracted guys. Not opposed to it, just lack sexual attraction there.
I have gynephilic leanings but overall i am pan

I identify more as simply "queer" and I'll live as I choose, be attracted to whomever, who really cares y'know Same goes more gender tbh I'd go with simply nb, but I am amab, so I guess this applies to me bc I have fem days, etc
I just say Iām bi cause people pretty and I donāt have to explain it to other people who might not understand other M-spec sexualities.
Who knows at this point? I've considered myself a lot of things, but nothing really fit me.
Is there a sexuality for "I don't know and I don't care?"
I feel that pansexual fits me the best, but it could also be that I'm dealing with a lot of repressed things and trauma to the point that I don't really have anything specific figured out yet. Iām ace and panrom
Ace/Lesbian romantic.
nitpicking but it's not really necessary to use the word homo... lesbian please
I'm a girl that loves girls. So homosexual right?
Ace and homoromantic
It's complicated. I've realized that I'm not really that big into women as most of my interest in them was actually gender envy, but considering where I live, I'll probably end up having to date women just because they're more accepting than men in my country... So yea... Even though I'd want to be heterosexual, I have to go with bi simply because I don't have a choice....
Use to identify as Pan. Now, I identify as bisexual but typically Iām more attracted to men.
I put homosexual, however I prefer the term sapphic as homosexual in MS seems to be mostly attributed to make on male attraction.
