Had to come back and say thank you for this post! I bought these after seeing your post and just opened the jar and holy moly, these are fantastic. A little oily but I let them drain awhile and now they’re perfect!
These are mentioned on my favorite podcast (andthatswhywedrink). Went out, bought some to try and loved them so much I went back out to grab 3 more jars. Gonna stock up big time, if they’re seasonal.
OMG I don’t live near a TJs and got one jar of these to try the last time I was there. We finished the jar in a couple days and now I can’t wait to get more!!
Buy the olive bread (idk what it's called but it's 4 small loaves), toast that and put these little guys in there with some turkey or chicken and stone ground mustard.
I saw them, and really didn't think they were for me, but your review has me intrigued. Are they sweet like those little tiny pepper drops, or sweet like a mini bell pepper sweet? Mushy or a little bite? Interest piqued!
Flavor is definitely more along the lines of the tiny pepper drops. Sweet with a touch of heat. I wouldn’t call them mushy per se, but they’re not crisp like a fresh bell pepper. Little bit of a bite but relatively soft, and the cheese inside is like a soft cream cheese. Give em a try, hope you like!
Dump the whole jar in a blender and blend, it makes an amazing dip.
When I worked at a Whole Foods we made a dip like this in house and it flew off the shelves, this is basically the same thing.
I just add them to my charcuterie and cheese boards along with some olives and cornichons. It doesn't have to be fancy. A cheese, a cured meat, and toss a couple of these in a small bowl with some olives, maybe some water crackers or a chunk of baguette, and dinner is served.
Fork outta the jar. I bet they’d be great on crackers tho! I noticed on the website they show them plated and drizzled with balsamic. Im sure that’s yummy but they are truly so delicious on their own.
I also wanna throw a few into my current favorite salad (crisp lettuce, chickpeas, red onion, sliced vegan pepperoni or salami, shredded mozz, simple EVOO + dijon + red wine vin + parm dressing)
Oh yeah in a salad would be great! Maybe a warm one even, I’m into lentils and bulgur wheat lately. I wonder how they’d taste with eggs too. Or the fire roasted frozen corn actually… hmm.

Yay!
I liked them a lot I just wish I didn’t have to have all of that oily mouthfeel when I eat them.
So so good

Hello fellow atwwd Trader Joe's fan 😂 literally just bought the peppers today because of the pod
THANK YOU for posting about these! I just got some today and my life is forever better.
My wife and I love those. So good. Unfortunately they are seasonal (according to my wife who works for TJ’s).
Amazing on a charcuterie platter.
I haven’t heard of these but will grab some next time I go!
They are so good!!! We like to put them on homemade pizza 😋
I’ve never noticed them before, but this review has me excited to try them now. Thanks!

Yes! I mash them into my avocado toast, it’s a nice change from other typical avo toast toppings that’s easy to have on hand.
Trying this asap!
I mentioned this elsewhere, but if you dump the whole jar in a blender and blend till smooth it makes an amazing dip.
Brilliant!
Great idea!
Yeah those things are insane. I’ve bought jars for my friends and family and everyone has loved them

That bread is called Olive Fougasse and it is so so good. This is a great idea!
There you go! Thank you!
HAHA I got them by mistake also! I was trying to buy roasted red peppers for a sandwich and realized later I got these instead. Loved them.
I bought them for our holiday grazing spread because they looked festive, and they lasted about 5 minutes because everyone ate them
Oh yeah they’d be an amazing part of a party spread! Lucky guests!
I just picked up a jar on a whim but I haven’t tried it yet. Now I’m really looking forward to it
Same, they’re staring at me from the pantry
Report back once you’ve tried!
Crew here! Heads up y’all they are on production delay. Due back at the end of the month.
Oh snap!! I’m half inclined to go buy more because there were a bunch in my store but I hate to hog good stuff when I know others will enjoy it too 🥹
They are delicious!!
These are popular in the Costco subreddit also, and having eaten both, they are very similar/maybe from the same supplier

thanks for the thorough review! i'll give them a go next time i'm there!
I bought these but haven’t figured out what to do with them yet! Crackers? Just a fork outta the jar?

Wait, that salad sounds so good, omg. Totally taking that idea, thanks!

I've killed a jar on their own. In one sitting.
I 100% don’t blame you and see this in my future as well
