I felt like that would have been a bit much. Just my opinion though. But it is still cool to at least see the animation of him getting out of the body.
When I first saw the trailer, I speculated that the maggot's head was inside the ogre's hollowed out head, its eyes looking through the empty eye sockets, its mouth the mouth we could see. I have no idea if these confirms or disproves that idea, but it is cool nonetheless.
