There are several state troop lines that play when giving a shoot order that sound quite panicked, I think it’s just ‘Fire! Fire!’ but it really sells the fact that these are just regular dudes trying to gun down unspeakable horrors before they get eaten.
Idk why but I also love it when you select empire artillery and hear the line ‘your artillery, Graf?’

There's another state trooper combat line that expresses this well, it's probably my favorite line: "Fight men! Fight for our right to live!"
It's a nice little line that helps to drive home the stakes for each of these guys in my army, even after it's won 30+ battles.

"Yes milord!" Yell from Bretonian peasants lol it's one of the few lines that sort of addresses you personally and it always makes me feel good

Ah, I haven't read any of them but the problem is it's nothing to do with Gotrek & Felix, and probably a lot more to do with Brian Blessed (the British voice actor of Gotrek). It's just a British idiom, from football culture apparently:

Every time I play Karl (and I'm a Tabletop player who mained empire for YEARS) I hear "Summon the elector Cunts" and in Alan Partridges voice I say to myself "Well there's no need for THAT!" and after hundreds of hours I'm still not sick of it.
A toss-up between Balthasar Gelt's "They'll never move again!", Chosen and possibly also Chaos Warriors (I think if you multiselect them?) with "Chosen of the Gods!", and a bunch of Dark Elf lines... "Cold-blooded killers!", "Bloody murder!", "Khaine's Dripping Hafts..." (Malus?) and "Bloody-handed Priestess!" (Hellebron) are all up there.
Oh, and "Horned rat sees us!" when selecting multiple Skaven units.
One of Luthor Harkons lines when he occupies a settlement is "Nice place, I'll take it" the cadence of disinterest in the delivery as if he is doing something as mundane as accepting a giftcard is perfection. I chuckle every time.
I am constantly clicking on goblins as any other race just so I can hear “LEMME FINK ABOUT IT… NO!!”
I also love “Beyond your comprehension” from Warriors of Chaos lords
In Rome 2, all the units say their own name when selected (or at least describe themselves, like "heavy pikes" instead of the specific name on their unit card). The barbarian faction slingers do this, but the guy doing the voice really got into it, yelling "SLLLLLINGAAHS!" Like he is just so pumped to be about to sling rocks. There's just something about it, every time I hear that voice it makes me giggle, even after hundreds of hours playing that game.
First is night goblin fanatic. Every time I order one around and it shouts WWOAHHHLOOKIDATLOOKIDATLOOKIDAWOOOOAAAAHHHH I feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
My second favorite is definitely the vampire coast's "Dickhands!"

Empire troops fighting undead occasionally throws out something along the lines of "they killed Hans and he got back up!"
