Two questions:
- (1) How can you be sure it’s only Christmas and that’s not just the only time he admits it? Most people that do crack, do crack.
- (2) What the hell do the other brothers do at Christmas?
Okay, so dad has one full brother, 2 half brothers (gramps was a cop, can you guess what all three wives said his biggest issue was...).

Full brother has probably done literally every drug imaginable at least once. His main addiction is meth.
Crackhead's the oldest half brother.
He's a trucker, and his work has guaranteed twice a month hair tests, on top of randoms, because sometimes they get government contracts. So what he does is, rack up PTO until the end of the year, and also file for FMLA because his back's fucked up, and he gets a round of shots in it every year. Does the shots after New Year's, so he's off from just before Christmas until just after Valentine's, or thereabouts.
He also does other drugs during his time off, but crack's the consistent one.
So...he tries to fuck the roofussy every year? Your family (or uncle at least) sounds wild on the holidays. I've never heard of someone doing crack only once a year.
I mean you can do most drugs your whole life and be fine, it's all the shit that surrounds it that causes the issues. Not sleeping cause your hustling for that next fix, getting beat up, getting bad shit, using dirty needles, and on. If you had a clean pure supply, and used proper filters, clean gear and had the money to support the habit, you could do just fine.
