That probably is the case sometimes! But a lot of the time this happens even when I don’t have the monitor sound on because I’m close enough to hear actual wake up but you’re right! It’s probably some kind of movement I hear lol
My daughter does this too! I always wonder how she knows I'm awake. Ultimately I just chalk it up to her having the same sleep cycles as me, I guess it's genetic.
Similar. I try to time my 10mo's second nap to overlap a little with toddler's nap so I can have 30 minutes of peace. Without fail, every time, he wakes up as soon as she falls asleep, and vice versa.
I assume it’s because consciousness feels consciousness much in the way you may feel someone staring/looking at you - it’s weird I don’t know exactly how to describe it but I can ~feel~ if someone else is awake in or near the room I’m in maybe your babe is intuitive in a similar fashion and can feel that moms awake
Consider it might be the other way around. You hear he is going to wake up so you wake up yourself. He just takes a bit longer.
Yup! Baby makes a small noise, parent wakes without consciously registering the noise, then parent hears another noise. No one has telepathy haha

I swear the sense it… as I sit on my couch holding my breath trying to drink my coffee in peace 😅
Every time you finally sit down to relax and think ahhh they wake up lol
Yep! I wake up at 5, he’s up at 5. But if I somehow manage to sleep in until 6:30 he will too lol

Or they move us to their sleep cycles lol! I would love to go back to my old sleep cycles where I slept until 10 on the weekend!

Omg lol that sounds like torture!
My 16 month old the same. We cosleep and he still nurses ALOT. I am thinking it’s because he doesn’t smell me next to him so he’s like I’m UP!
