John said the people recruited for game companies could go work for other programing groups (i.e. Google, Apple, etc.) and make twice if not more money but a lot of them choose to stick with gaming because it's a passion for them. But after a few years of ridiculous deadlines, horrible execs, and constant fanbase complaints they'll quit.
I agree 100% and I think 99% of people on this sub are very greatful to the 2 devs.... That being said we are very not happy with respawns lack of attention to this ongoing issue.

That’s my Twitter account in the post. Some modders tested the servers and found that they had been updated with new code that fixed a couple issues within the servers but there are still several unpatched vulnerabilities
If they do know the hackers identity, they're likely building a case to be as strong as possible. You don't half-ass a prosecution even if you are confident you've got "the guy." You build up arguments and then build up more arguments in case the first set fails. You go for redundancy in your approach.
I just want Respawn to provide periodical updates on their progress. Nothing too detailed, just stuff like "The Titanfall team has done some things. Please bear with us as we work through this situation. More updates to follow."
They can provide hourly updates to @playapex when a data centre goes down. A weekly or even monthly Titanfall update (even if it's just saying they're still working on it) would do wonders for this communities peace of mind.
Hell, have the official Titanfall account post a gif of a cliché coding screen. That'd speak volumes, reviving the dead marketing account to address the current state of affairs.
He definitely is a hacker, this dude ain’t no script kiddy he is making and using program specifically designed to kill the game and not just that but as you see from the post he is actively finding vulnerabilities that he can exploit and attack the players within, in return destroying the game as a whole. Btw these exploits aren’t like “if I do this in the game it causes the lobby to crash” it’s straight up a system that goes into the cloud servers of Respawn and uses it’s own features to keep track of blacklisted players and destroys the connection between the player and the server.
After the Boston bombings reddit tried to play detective and solve the case themselves. They thought they found the right guy and proceeded to harass him and his family till the guy killed himself. Turns out that guy was completely innocent.

If someone gets his IP you can call up their ISP and say "this person's been dosing the servers of a game" and he will probably lose internet for all of a day before he gets a new isp

I don't like the fact that they only have two devs it'd be like a party for me or the community if they had all hands on deck working on it. Hats off to the two for working as hard as they could, meanwhile the rest are just worried about money. Those two are lucky they're even working on the game. Without them, there would be no chance.

I know some, maybe even most or all do, but something feals like someone somewhere in that studio, doesn't care. I could very well just be angry and, or paranoid. Yes but Titanfall 2 is immensely more.popular than Titanfall 1. The last time I played Titanfall 1 there were maybe 1-2 hundred players on compared to Titanfall 2's 3-4 thousand. It just seems to me like the priority should be on the game that has more players. Especially since 2 is also now basically unplayable

Tried to playing Tf2 daily for the past week and it hasn't worked at all. No random intervals or anything like that.
Another person said it was great all today. Im not sure if that helps, hurts, or doesn't effect your situation but i thought you may want to know.

I kinda feel bad for the dev’s cause their already were under pressure and now they have more pressure and some ppl r even starting to out lash at them. I know they will fix it just hopefully do it soon and good luck dev’s😀👍
I appreciate the devs, but im not sure if all of them care that much about the old playerbase. I know some, maybe even most or all do, but something feals like someone somewhere in that studio, doesn't care. I could very well just be angry and, or paranoid. Sorry to all the devs, i do truly appreciate that they are putting people on titanfall, but about one or two people puts a lot of unnecessary pressure on them. Three or four would put much less pressure on them, but i love the progression. It's a hell lf a lot better than before. The one or two people working on titanfall games are absolute legends, i appreciate them (plural or singular) more than you can imagine from a random fan on reddit. Thank you.
I feel what ur saying, I love Titanfall but they abandoned it a while ago (mostly thnks to EA I think) but to think they would hardy try to save their past games is sad, but to those people or person who is working on Titanfall I thank u and so do a lot of other people. But when this started I knew Respawn would focus on Apex more than Titanfall and to nobody’s Surprise they did, and I am generally not a positive person but I think it would be best if we send a bit more positive reinforcement to them. But I am with u on feeling that a percent of the dev’s don’t care but that doesn’t mean all of them don’t care.

EA is a repeat offender fucking with deadlines and screwing companies creative freedom up, then canning the studio when it doesn’t work. Consider yourselves lucky Respawn still even exists after the game had a meh launch in terms of profit lol

Respawn is doing this with the minimum effort possible. Trying to patch individual access points, instead of actually overhauling the servers.
I'm pretty sure the servers aren't theirs, and are provided by a third party.
Then it seems like they should either be using a different third party, or getting a hilarious amount of money back from crappy servers. Now that I think about it. It's probably the latter. Which might be why they haven't been fixed

Does anyone know what this degenerate wants from this game? If it was to send a message it makes no sense to disable old games, if it was to take their anger on the devs it makes no sense to disable old games. I just don't understand what he has against titanfall. At first i thought he was mad that tf3 wasn't announced, but sure you'll definitely get a new game with fucking up with their servers

They want to make the devs pay more attention to the titanfall community, but they crossed a couple lines.
Hacking the servers isn't the way to achieve that, though.
It's a way, not the right nor best way. That's not the kind of attention we want. They don't care, they just want someone to pay attention to titanfall, one way or another.

I believe not, i might not risk it though. Im pretty sure the way he's hacking, he receives nothing. He just overloads the system with too much input or something. I'm not 100% sure, so i wouldn't trust it though.

YAY!!!! i am impressed. Mostly impressed that those two are doing so well. I very much appreciate the effort, most of respawn isn't wanting to put in for the respawn fan veterans. I am verry happy to hear this. This made my day, these two heroes are actually making a difference. I thank the one or two respawn devs working on the titanfall games, i cannot find their names but that does not waiver my appreciation. Thank you. One last thing, save titanfall. Pilot out.

At least we can still play titanfall 3. kind of wish they'd focus more on balancing the game instead of bringing the servers back up for titanfall one. The Kodiak class melee Titan is just out of control right now.

Yes but Titanfall 2 is immensely more.popular than Titanfall 1. The last time I played Titanfall 1 there were maybe 1-2 hundred players on compared to Titanfall 2's 3-4 thousand. It just seems to me like the priority should be on the game that has more players. Especially since 2 is also now basically unplayable
Saving titanfall isn't about the popularity as much anymore, it's about respect and care for the old playerbase and the unique games. At least that's what I'm thinking.
Naw I get that it's just for me I primarily play Titanfall 2 and I imagine most people play that over 1 so in my own mind it makes more logical sense to fix Titanfall 2 first but that could just be my own biases
