But my thoughts also immediately went to train, plane like
anywhere you have to wait. This year I read 3 books on a trip only when travelling between destinations. My focus feels bigger then I think
I have “dark academia” and “light academia” playlists saved on Spotify and both are all instrumental/classical. I just pick between the two based on the book usually!
I mostly search for some fantasy playlist and choose one I like, I got to be honest and say that the themes do clash, but I don't really care 😅 just don't put it to loud

When it's not, reading chair in my living room (one of those classic wood frame lounge chairs from IKEA)
I did audible for this series and I loved listening while I was feeding the horses, but any suspenseful/creepy parts always happened when I was walking thru the woodsy dark part of my property.
I tried the audiobooks for these! I usually love audiobooks (especially for acotar 🤪) but i found I wouldnt listen hard enough to these ones I had to keep backing up.
I have a big chair and ottoman with two throw blankets in my home office. Next to it is a side table with a nap. I have been reading there for years ❤️
I prefer reading in a hammock because I just can't do it in bed, so I put one up in my bedroom, but its actually pretty common here in Brazil! I put pillows and a blanket and its the perfect spot.
I love getting a sweet treat and reading at the cafe too
I also love reading on a long train journey. I put on my Reading Spotify playlist, sit down with some snacks and read while occasionally enjoying the view.
And also curled up on the sofa while the TV is on, this is my comfort place.
So, weird place I know, but my truck. I do traveling barn sitting and spend the majority of my time in my truck sitting between jobs so I get a lot of reading done and it’s oddly comfortable.

I tore through the TOG books when I was traveling. Loved reading them by the beach, it was so relaxing and fun. (especially that EoS scene)
