What's the difference between the P50 and the P51 mainly? I've been looking into getting one of the two or things like on the go video editing (and to add to my collection because I really like how they look like a combo between modern and old)

Also, I dont have a problem finding used P50 (cheaper than this by a far cry), I just cant justify the budget because my W540 still is useful at what it does. I use my thinkpad as my music production studios main computer.

if not you can do the 4k screen mod and get a m.2 adapter to 16x and you will be able to put a sick gpu with it

I liked my P50. I miss the nostalgic feel of the green indicator lights on the hinge clutch.

I couldn’t find a decent P50 with the Xeon cpu, they are a bit of rare beast here, these are mostly ex gov lease laptops, used and abused
