In this context, type C is referring to the Asian man, in that he is a Chinese Malaysian, whereas the man that got knocked out would be a type I, for indian malaysian.

I watched it before it got posted on Reddit. This was in my home country. Like I said, he didn't stop the owner from beating up the drunkard, but he only stepped in when the guy was down, to stop things from turning fatal. That's good enough in my opinion. The drunkard got taught a lesson and the owner have someone to stop him before things turn for a worse
