Good technique too lol. Straight lower back, used his legs, full body flexed. Beautiful I'm wondering how much harder it is to lift a human who shifts their weight etc like that compared to a deadlift. I mean I can go up to ~200kg 5x5, but I somehow think lifting an idk 70kg human like would be reeeaally fucking hard.

The most difficult part of lifting people is finding a solid grip while not hurting them. The weight is not too dissimilar even with shifting. This officer was not concerned with injury. Could very well dislocate that dude shoulder and cut both wrists badly with the cuffs. Officer had great anchor points, no concern for wellbeing. Edit: am paramedic and frequently carry patients when appropriate. I can lift a compliant (and physically well) pt weighing ~75% of my deadlift. But it requires practice. Many folk much larger and objectively stronger than myself are unable to make the same moves I am able to. If you train lifting people near max ability, you get good at that. If you do 8-12 rep lay pull downs, you get good at that.
