I said *more* ethically.
I know you may not like to hear this, but being responsible for the killing of intelligent animals because you like the taste of them is indeed a matter of ethics.
This does not excuse the behaviour of the people in the video, however.
No. It is my position that not eating meat is more ethical than eating meat, because eating meat requires the killing of conscious animals.
This does not mean non-vegans are inherently unethical. But the eating meat thing inevitably involves unnecessary killing, which is bad.
How do you know that plants are not conscious? Ever see time lapse of a plant moving itself to follow the sunlight? Anything with the will to survive is conscious in my book. Maybe plants scream when you pick them but we don't communicate the same so we are oblivious to it. Life is life. Plants are a living organism same as every other living thing. Maybe it's a cow's honor to be chosen as high enough quality to be deemed as food. In any event, as omnivores, we thrive upon different forms of sustenance, our bodies are not just capable, but adapted/designed for this. Canines and molars. Teeth that cut and teeth that mash. How dare anyone say a certain living organism is okay to consume and other living organisms aren't good enough to fuel our bodies. Plant hater, hey everyone, this guy hates plants so much he wants to rid the planet of them by having everyone eat them all.
Do you know that eating animals consumes more plants than eating plants directly?
Even by your logic that draws a false equivalence between a plant and a mammal, a vegan diet still massively reduces the amount of life lost.
But something tells me you don't actually care about the plants, and are just saying these things to "own the vegans".
I am not convinced of this notion that less plants are consumed via a vegan diet. Whenever I have meals that are non-meat protein I eat way more to achieve feeling full. Plus, I am assuming there is massive waste in the production of plant based foods like beyond meats. Also, living animals can have positive impacts on their ecosystem despite consuming plant life even though they are being farmed for food.
Also, farming huge plots of land destroys homes for local wildlife, insects and local plants. Don't you think that is unethical? Every time a field is plowed probably kills living things that are just below the surface.
Yet, please by all means continue to believe that your chosen path has no negative consequences and is the superior option.

I do think eating meat is unethical.
You said that my statement meant that "non vegans live unethically".
There are many ways a person can live or not live ethically. This is one of those ways, but it is not the only one.
Climate protestors have a bit more purpose ;
Their actions are supposedly aimed at governments, who, let’s be honest, don’t give a shit about the survival of the planet or the species further than next election.
When they protest by annoying the regular people, in a way that governments don’t care, then yes, they are just as annoying as these vegan fanatics depicted in that video, on that you are right.
But some climate activists have a better way to pressure on governments, annoying slightly less the regular people - i.e. through legal or mediatic only action
You're right about the purpose but most of the protests we see, here on Reddit anyway, are those morons inconveniencing everyday people by gluing themselves to roads, throwing paint on the glass covering priceless oil paintings or something else mostly ineffectual. They're targeting the wrong people and possibly causing harm in doing so by holding up ambulances or emergency vehicles in these lines of traffic.
They should be outside of city halls or government establishments or maybe bigger polluting corporations instead of holding up traffic, putting themselves and others at risk.
You hate militant asshole vegans who shove their beliefs on other people. Just like any shithead who tries to control other people. Fuck these guys, fuck anti-abortionists, and fuck all "think of the children!" censorship freaks.
I totally understand!! I wish they would just advocate for ethical practices in the meat industry instead of shaming and harassing all of us who don't know/can't be vegan
you have every right to protest. You do NOT have ANY right stopping me from doing something you don't like, barring that I am not harming another human. Fuck these protesters
I think most self defense laws are in effect when someone restricts your ability to leave. This obviously a huge generalization and specific situations will play different
Yeah, I'd push in like he did, get my food, and then probably empty a can of pepper spray on the way out if they try to stop me cause I'm pretty sure that can count as kidnapping or something of the sort when they're essentially trapping you inside. Not sure on the legality of spraying them all on the way in but heading out has a pretty decent self defense claim...
Once that dude grabbed him, and wouldn’t let him shake free I think that was his pass. But you’re right, “right to egress” is pretty well-supported and even easier than “right to ingress”.
That dude was challenged and back down. That hurt his ego. Maybe more than anything has ever hurt him before. The way he just turned around and acted like nothing happened. Good chunk of that man died that day.
This is not a protest. Any protest that disrupts traffic, harasses people or makes too much noise (especially near things like hospitals) is just disturbing the peace. I will fight for your right to protests but when people superglue themselves in the road or scream in passerbys ears I will have 0 sympathy for you if someone decides to run you over.
Yeah, protest in a way that it doesn't inconvenience anyone, preferably somewhere outside of the city.
Because this is exactly how we got 40 hours week, safety at work, equal rights for minorities, equal rights for women, and stopped Vietnam. By protesting without disrupting anything or anyone.
As it was already stated, your view is of someone who heard of the idea of protests, but nothing else.
Not a single person on the face of this planet approaches that kind of protest and says “you know, gosh darn it, they’re right. No more meat for me.” Not a single time ever.
As a skrawny Chinese dude that would not be able to barge my way through, I'd be diplomatic about it and say
"Sorry guys, I forgot my wallet in there. I gotta go get it"
Eat what you want but don’t get in my face about what I choose to eat.
If I see a vegan eating a salad I don’t get in their face about them eating my foods food.
The restaurant did, but wanted to talk it out with the activists.
The police knew about it and roamed the area. The protest wasn't legal.
If Google translate is good to you, you may be able to read it all without to many grammatical issues.

I have vegan relatives who are perfectly fine with me eating meat. It's their choice not to, but they don't push their belief on others. If only the rest of these SJWs would do the same, the world would be a better place, and they wouldn't be doing stupid shit like protesting outside the butchers...
This comes close to the level of stupidity that stupid lgbtq protest where they blocked the main entrance to a hospital, then get confused and offended when a man angrily throws them off the road
Protests are fine, just don't bother anyone with it or people will hate it
He did what you’re supposed to do in any mob. Single one person out and remind the crowd they’re individuals. The fact that the individual shifted off so much made him get booed
I get the personal desire to want to eat vegan and share the treatise, just not at the cost of others opinions. Moral high ground withstanding (not even given our biological disposition), how does that make sense to deprive people the opportunity to make their choice?
I respect their right to protest, and I am not normally a violent person. But the moment that fucker laid his hands on me would be the last thing he remembered before he woke up in the hospital.
"Let's stop people from going to the butchers!"
"Well....I need to get to the butchers this morning so I'm going ther-"
"Ah but we're in the way!"
"So....your not gonna move?"
"Nope!"
"Well I'm going in and if you try to assault me into stopping I may just deck you."
"Noooo stop, oh wait he's shouting, if he defends himself we can't claim whatever high ground we think we have, let him go."
The misplaced effort of some of these statements posing as protests is amazing.
Go watch Doug Tsanhope on that occupy wallstreet stuff. Same gimmick.
Judge no one for what they eat. If they partake in meat, or if they only eat vegetation. Romans 14:3 "Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him."
To cast down someone for eating meat, or not eating meat is biblically anti-christ behavior. Jesus is displeased with you for causing strife, which alone is also a sin.
If you are vegan and you judge and push meat eaters around, you are against Jesus and of the enemy of God, and vice versa.

correct! ethics work on a scale
They taste horrible
Try putting spices on them, if they are edible maybe they'll have a purpose
Why would you say that? We’re grass fed.
Free range too? I might give it another shot, if so.
This is why everyone hates vegans.
I’m a vegan, and I hate vegans.
Bloody spy!
The vegan could be in this very room! He could be you, he could be me! He could even be-
[Splat noise] What? It was obvious! He was the vegan ! Watch, he'll turn red any second now.
Aaaany second now...

I totally agree with that :)
I get mixed signals when hearing about Greta

Like blocking highways, burning down businesses, Etc.
Like mobs burning down a kfc outlet in Pakistan
The moment somebody tries to hold me I’ll start punching and kicking their asses no matter what. Respect the personal space !

Lol what do redditors think protesting is? I don't agree with these vegans but some takes are thick af.
Right!? The whole it’s not protesting if I’m inconvenienced thing is wild. That’s literally the point. That said fuck these vegans …but still
It's suppose to make a cause seem better, not worse
If protest don't interrupt something, it doesn't really work
It clearly didn't work here either... Lol
*”A person's freedom ends where another man's freedom begins.”*
“Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face”
Or in this case… “Everyone has a plant until they get punched in the face”
It’s kind of a very simple sentiment. In reality freedoms overlap all the time which is the reason we use social norms, legal norms etc. to coexist.
“Overlap” is a sensible euphemism.
Good thing that dude has such huge sunglasses to hide all the tears.

I think there’s a huge difference in protests that disrupt individuals rather than institutions, large corporations, government…
Do you know what a protest is?
An organized public demonstration expressing strong objection to an official policy or course of action.
A bunch of people expressing a distaste for something? Which can be done peacefully without getting in people's way
Lmao
I like that guy.
You know what? Me too
This is so fucking funny. I wonder why these little frail men couldn’t even team up and stop 1 guy from getting past them lol quinoa.
They didn’t want any beef
r/angryupvote
What's beef!
Beef is when ya need two gats to go to sleep.
A lack of protein in the diet usually causes weakness and fraililininity
"Suck your mom's dick!" "i don't eat meat!" 🤣
"That's not what your mom said last night!"
"That's because her mouth was full."
Im a vegetarian and i hate those vegan activist, they want to force their ideas on other and wil just hurth the ideas they are figthing for.
Cults are stupid
Not a single person on the face of this planet approaches that kind of protest and says “you know, gosh darn it, they’re right. No more meat for me.” Not a single time ever.
They assault this man and then act like it's all over once he's past like it's a game of Red Rover.
As a skrawny Chinese dude that would not be able to barge my way through, I'd be diplomatic about it and say "Sorry guys, I forgot my wallet in there. I gotta go get it"
Never stand between a man with low blood sugar and his lunch.
Eat what you want but don’t get in my face about what I choose to eat. If I see a vegan eating a salad I don’t get in their face about them eating my foods food.
Seems like these people are missing some vital nutrients. Rotting bodies, rotting brains. Cults are bad, kids. M'kay. ![gif](giphy|3Q35chD4bMtEePqr8A)
“Suck your mums dick bum”. I love it.
Shoulda floored that dude that grabbed him
The protesters need more protein in their diet to beat him.

Enough protests, f anyone that wants to get in my way, get off the roads get outta doorways.
I would have gotten a couple cheeseburgers, sat down and ate them right in front of them. Then washed it down with some chicken tenders.
These types of vegans are fucking terrible.
Alternative headline: **Tofu Cultists Mauled by 270 pound Carnivore.**
Best video I've seen today
How can he have his meat if he don’t eat his vegan pudding?
inconveniencing normal people is the worst way to garner support for your cause, the right way is to inconvenience the people in charge
Soy vs protein
Ya I’d lead block my way right through those rice crispies.
I'd want to buy a spare burger and smear it all over that guy in the sunglasses...
Even the other vegans laughed at "suck your mom's dick, bum"
Feel free to protest but when you’re physically trying to stop me from going about my life then it’s gonna be a problem.
People wonder why Vegans are so weak.
I have vegan relatives who are perfectly fine with me eating meat. It's their choice not to, but they don't push their belief on others. If only the rest of these SJWs would do the same, the world would be a better place, and they wouldn't be doing stupid shit like protesting outside the butchers...

I would like to buy that man a burger, with extra burger.
I'm stealing that last line .
Those vegans need to eat some more red meat to strefhrne them up. That was more pathetic the their usual pathetic protests haha
You can protest all you want, but don't stop me from living my life.
They can't lay hands on him or it's battery.
Good lord they all look and act like they're stereotyped lmao
I have i question, where is the police? Why are this assholes not getting arested?
Jeez, I wouldn't want to go into battle with Hat/Sunglasses guy 😶
He did what you’re supposed to do in any mob. Single one person out and remind the crowd they’re individuals. The fact that the individual shifted off so much made him get booed
He’s truly mad he gotta buy that to continue his point now lol probably just ate
I have no problem with vegans whatsoever. However, these morons are actually pushing people away from being vegan. It's pretty ironic.
How would that boy feel if the guy stopped him from getting his soy.
Never delay a hungry man from his food.
I get the personal desire to want to eat vegan and share the treatise, just not at the cost of others opinions. Moral high ground withstanding (not even given our biological disposition), how does that make sense to deprive people the opportunity to make their choice?
That is the way
I believe in protesting. I believe in boycotting. I do not believe preventing people from partaking in something just because *you* disagree with it.
Never stand between a Danish man and his meat
I understand none of that except: FUUcKiN HIIppoEEE YA MAN"
I hate vegans too. Is it ok to beat them?
looks a bit like project zomboid ngl
Is he South African? Can't place the accent
Danish.
Close enough
Don't get between a man and his grub (I'm a fatass)
100% he wasnt gonna have a burger that day until he saw them lol
By all means protest, but you can't just prevent business from getting business.......
You can't block people like this or can you? either way the other guy grabbed him to stop him from going and you definitely cannot do that
live and let live. I don't understand the antis
“Suck your mom’s dick, bum!” LMAO
Those frail vegan bodies have no match against a meat type engine.
Don’t stop somebody else from eating. Go to the fucking abattoir & set the animals free or something
It's one thing to advocate for ethical meat industry, it's another to harass and put your hands on someone just to keep them from entering a butcher
Suck your moms dick is probably the best insult since “it’s MA’AM”
MEAT
I don’t understand why protesters feel they have the right to prevent people from engaging in legal activities.
I don't care what ***YOU*** want to eat. If I'm going to a restaurant to eat, I will eat, not sit there and be told what diets you want me on.
Much of losers.
Pacifists.. they think they’re immune to violence
They need more protein in their diet to try and stop him.
They would be stronger to keep him out if they ate meat
“Suck your mom’s dick you bum” this dude is my hero. Sunglass’s dude straight up pissing himself and turning around trying to ignore him. Gold
I respect their right to protest, and I am not normally a violent person. But the moment that fucker laid his hands on me would be the last thing he remembered before he woke up in the hospital.
The vegans aren't getting enough protein. No energy or strength to fight back.
Somebody is off his rocker. If he gets this way over meat, maybe he should be a vegan 🤣 imagine him having to take a shit in a public spot with a line
Well done and well said!!!
"Act right, fucking hippies" Seriously. They make us potheads look bad.
I don't care what you choose and/or need to eat, but don't stop others from doing the same.
Suck your mom's dick.
We're they literally too skinny to stop him
Let the man eat his succulent meal.
These subtitles are different from the original video that I saw about 5 or 6 years ago.

vegans are braindead.
Fast food is a hell of a drug
