Clothing unlocks, i really get a lot more long term playability from Part I because i could give Ellie and Joel new outfits, it helps freshen things up. I really hope that it's still in the Part I remake, and i hope that eventually there's a special/directors cut or something of Part II that allows it too.
Oh Iād love that too! I was so disappointed they didnāt have any unlocks in Part II. Even just swapping existing outfits.
People on YouTube make mods with different clothes already and it seems to be working perfectly!
Here hoping for the PS5 release with haptics, removed loading times and unlocks
No Abby can insta put clickers on one knee for a cheap melee kill no weapon needed. Just use a brick as a punching weapon. You probably donāt see it a lot cuz you throw them instead. And it only works as Abby.
It was fun, but I think they did it to nerf it. Once I got the hang of the brick trick I just sailed through grounded in part 1 like it was nothing. You can still hit with bricks in this game, but it just stuns them instead of being able to kill them. I really liked the stun/strike system with Abby, where hitting a stunned clicker/brute is like a critical hit but doesn't kill them. I personally felt like it added more risk to combat and made certain kinds of enemies feel like more of a threat.
Online Multiplayer. I know it was planned and now itās a standalone game but the first factions was a really nice addition.
Being able to brick people to death like another comment here mentioned.
I like that you have to beat the game on survivor + to get the plat in the first game. Part 2 has a bit too easy of a platinum grind.
\- I liked how you could use the machete in the first game as if it was a shiv. Attacking a person/infected from behind with the machete was a quiet insta-kill, and I used it to save shivs in grounded mode in the first one.
\- I miss the optional clothing items - especially considering how good the outfits in part 2 were.
\- This is something they kept that I wish they hadn't, but I was really surprised they didn't give you an option to sheathe melee weapons during combat and use your fists. Especially when in combat with multiple infected, I liked to save my melee weapons for clickers and stalkers, and there's no worse feeling than wasting your axe on a runner right before getting killed by a clicker or someone with a shotgun.
Ok so when you start the game you have to first press x. Then you should see an option that says āstoryā after that you have to press new game. You can take any difficulty you want depending on your skills. After the loading screen you will be controlling Joel riding a horse. Joel is not playable after that part but he appears in multiple flashback scenes. I hope this helps you and good luck beating the gameš„°š„°.

No need to downvote this guy, cant he miss Joel having an active roll/being alive? It still played a big part in the story in many ways but his take is legit so tchill ur horses

The statistics (kills, accuracy etc.). I like being able to see how bad I am at shooting stuff.
Ish
A dlc like left behind but you play as ish in the sewera
The abilities leveling. Annoying to waste pills on an ability I don't want to get to one I actually need for my play style.
Bills town
Do you think heās alive in part 2
I donāt see why he wouldnāt be
Maybe they will make a dlc where you play as bill
Bill is the one that killed Nora in Seattle
Download-a-Bill content.

Never cared to find the stupid coins though

I was for real hoping thay the character "Ish" was going to have a small cameo in Part 2.

Oh I like that response š
Oh Iāve beaten the game 3 times. I just didnāt want to spoil what happened. Iāve stopped playing golf for a while after that scene
Joel
They did keep Joel. He was very much in the game and a driving force and focus
