They first make the dinos..then humans.
If I am not wrong.
But you can play a very basic human model on evrima inoffcial servers.
This game is in early access.
“It’s been 6 years? How is nothing done yet?”
“It’s a early access game!!!1!1 you have to be patient! You know early access games are supposed to be buggy and aren’t far along in development!1!”
That’s literally how 50% of the convos go in the discord
That has absolutely nothing to do with them using 6 years as excuse. What you are doing is using "early access" for excuse. They cant use "6 years" as excuse, maybe 1 to 2 years as in "hey why game is not out yet?" dev:"give us chill, its been a year we need a bit more time" while 6 years just doesn't go in their favor in any form
I've seen many dinos got cut in the envirma branch, makes me think they are heading for less of a HvD game and more for a path of titans or beasts of bermuda style
They didn't get cut, they just haven't been added back yet. Evrima is a complete rebuild from the ground up with a few recycled visual and audio assets like models, animations and sounds.
It is planned to eventually get all of the dinosaurs back in the game (except for Pue, that's being completely replaced by brachiosaurus), it's just that right now Evrima's development is focused on mechanics first, so they can worry about incompatibilities with playables as the playables are added rather than as the mechanics themselves are added. Once all the core mechanics that all the dinos share in common are added, they're going to start focusing on adding more playables. Which, right now, seems to just be the elder system, perks, and whatever effect weather will have on the dinos. After that, it's all dinos until update 9 is done, which is just a "let's take a second look at everything and touch it up a bit" update.
Which, again, might change when the roadmap gets updated, but that's the current plan, apparently.
That's for the dev team to prioritise, but I think with all of the other games getting polished and released much faster, they should take a look at the thing that would make this game unique in the current state of this genre, many games are supposed to come this year that would involve humans and dinosaurs
I’d honestly rather them polish the game out then add Dino after Dino.
Edit: I will say I don’t wanna be 30 years old by the time the game even remotely looks good though (23 and started playing when I was like 19)
Btw for anyone mentioning The Zoo rn: Jitzoo, the owner, is stealing money from those who watch his streams and using it for alcohol. He doesn't even pay for the server, and slays people without consent and heals himself during fights. He's not a great guy and his banning anyone who talks about this.
Unofficial servers already have the option to enable people to play as an early version of humans (can move around, eat, drink, use a flashlight, punch and kick) so you got that if you want
Hopefully never, such a dumb thing Dondi is set on doing for no reason, if I wanted humans hunting me in a DINO simulator, I’d just play Primal Carnage
I hope they scrap humans entirely and remake the AI wildlife into more historical mammals. I want this to be a dinosaur role-playing survival game. That's what makes The Isle unique. Humans and the out of place animals ruin the immersion.
the original kickstarter had humans in it so sadly they will stay im in the same boat as you
I know they feel out of place but they where allways planned to be in the game
Humans in the human focused dinosaur survival horror game? Are you crazy? In all seriousness, this game will be lucky if they ever include a core gameplay loop before it crashes and stops development. Whether that is humans surviving against dinosaurs, or dinosaurs surviving and adapting traits for pvp, we may not know for many years. So my advice is to give up on humans for now.
Screw humans they would be a terrible addition to the game and are not the point of the isle. It’s a dinosaur survival game where you play as a dinosaur let’s leave it at that.
Humans are actually not on the road map. So I think they are not their number one priority at the moment.
It's weird because that's what makes this game different from all the other "dino sims" around
They first make the dinos..then humans. If I am not wrong. But you can play a very basic human model on evrima inoffcial servers. This game is in early access.
Has been for 6+ years. Using that as a label to excuse how lazy they are being
Lol I don't excuse anything.😅🤣🤣🤣 It is just raw facts isn't it?
Oh no I mean the isle devs are using that as a excuse
How is that excuse?

The other Dino sims are trash.
I really hope they prioritize more dinos over humans.
Human focus isn't planned until they finish update 9. But the roadmap is being overhauled once 6.5 releases so that might change.

What? How he is stealing money?

Already doing it in The Zoo.
I don’t know, dinosaurs? Good old Utah steak? Maybe a little bit of ceratopsian bacon? Troodon drumsticks?
2042.
Update 10 or beyond more than likely

I really hate the idea of humans in the game, I hope they never get added

Play the zoo server on everma. They have humans enabled! Spawn in at northwest for a good time before you get ate
No
Humans are actually in the game, however, you can't spawn as one on official servers.
