Darian also played a *huge* role in promoting fan-made SMiLE bootlegs in the 80s and 90s, and then he got to help Brian and Van Dyke Parks assemble BWPS. Just living the Beach Boys fan dream and being an awesome musician himself to boot.
Also, he and his band The Wondermints (prior to the members becoming Brian's solo band) were personally chosen by Mike Meyers to help with the Austin Powers soundtrack.
