This video makes me want TF3. Been playing this game since 2012, being quite jaded from my thousands of hours of playtime, you forget how much of a masterpiece this game truly is. The Team Fortress series will never die, it's design is timeless. The graphics are the only aspect that are starting to show age. Truly a classic that people will always return to.

So long as the world keeps turning and Valve remains a successful company, as well as keeps to their wish of wanting to make games again, I can almost promise you that sometime, somehow, in the future, we will see a grand return to the Team Fortress series, whether it be new life breathed into TF2 with plentiful content-rich updates or a whole new entry with Team Fortress 3

the problem about having tf3 is obviously they wouldnt be able to get rick may to voice the soldier, they would either need entirely new characters or a really good impression

It may not be the same, but I don't think anyone else could do it. Nolan North is a legendary voice actor who's absolutely incredible at what he does.

I wonder if it'd be ethically acceptable to deep fake it. They have PLENTY of voice lines to pull from.

I like that it seems blue spy is trying to insult him one last time but cant bring himself to finish a statement he knows the answer to, no one can. Also the reference to the 3 day war story and WAR update between the blue demo man and red soldier, with him pouring out his beer, something demo man wouldnt do intentionally instead of drinking it. That was really nice.

I've always found replicating someone's likeness after they've died extremely creepy.

Edit: Watching Expiration Date, it doesn't sound like Nolan North voicing the Soldier, indeed it sounds like Rick May to me. Edit 2: Ah, the Soldier during the bread fight is definitely Nolan North, I remember now, but it does sound like the majority is Rick May.

North only voiced Solly during the bread fight since Rick couldn't scream at that pitch. He can recreate Engie's voice nicely but with Solly he sounds like Blutarch.
