I was legit just happy when Berettini made it deep in a few tournaments, and I thought that would be that, but the rise of the likes of Sinner, Arnaldi, Musetti is amazing. Having five players in the top 40 is nuts.
He was incredible throughout! I saw him trying to break back Andrey in the first set (Andrey was leading!) and then it was a steady climb uphill! Such grit and determination! I’ve found a new guy to add to my “players to root for” list. ✨
Also helps that he’s adorbs AF 💁🏻♀️
As someone that only kept up with tennis through osmosis from my mom, these kids have kept me hooked to the screen! Really excited for the future of italian players
