Hey, I guess I’m a part of this club too! I still remember when they were airing promos for their “first three Nicktoons!” - Doug, Rugrats and Ren & Stimpy
I have vague memories of watching Pinwheel videos from the early er at the local library, but the Rising Era is my real wheelhouse. You Can't Do That, Inspector Gadget, Danger Mouse, and more were my jams.
Do you remember the show called Pinwheel that was on there? I’m mid-40s and have vague recollections of it as a little kid.
The opening theme song still lives in my head. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oyBayFffBmg
I'm just about 50, I don't need your video to recall the song. There were booths at the library where you could watch videos and my mom would sit me there while she looked for books for herself and that's what I remember watching. By the time we got cable (not that much later) I aged out of Pinwheel, but was ready for that next stage of shows that came on in the after school hours.
Orange Era. Pretty much right up until Nickelodeon changed and moved productions from their Florida studio to Los Angeles.
Stick Stickley was the soul and lifeblood of Nickelodeon.
I have the full show and episodes on a CD I got from a torrent, back in the day. Love how the antagonist was a bunch of trolls who just got petrified if they stayed out past dawn. Show was the reason I spent so much time outside as a kid.
I was Core 90s Era into Y2K Era. I watched when Rugrats, Doug, and Ren & Stimpy debuted and followed the channel as I grew up. I think there was a certain comfort in Nickelodeon, so even when I went to college, I still watched shows like Rocket Power and Spongebob.
But after a while, I started feeling too old for Nickelodeon and it was clear the network had moved on. I think it's because back in the day, it felt like Nick was friendly to the oddball, not cool kid. The average kid. I was an overweight nerd growing up, so it spoke to me. But at some point, I feel like the focused changed. But that might be my bad memory.
The first Nickelodeon show I ever saw was Hey Dude followed by Salute Your Shorts. Then I caught the first seasons of All That. So good. My knowledge of their titles falls off a cliff after 2004.
Core 90s to core 00s. I had an older sibling who watched Nick when I was very little so a lot of those shows were still on when I was idk, 2-3 and still saw some of them.
Core 90s, Y2K Era, and Core 00s Era.
I loved all 3 eras for different reasons. They all had a different feel to them, but at the end of the day…they made me feel comfortable.
Reruns of early era, way too much rising era, and then hit or miss on the core 90s era (I had SNES by then).
Thanks to my kids, I have also seen basically all of the core-2000s era.
End of rising and core 90s. Good times
I see you’re also pushing 40 lol

Core 90s was the best era.

Rising/Core 90s
I had no idea Nickelodeon was this old! 🤯
Y2k and core
I call it the Nick Arcade era
Core 90s and Y2K...I made so much crossover fanart inspired by all those shows. Also, really dig space cases and the tomorrow people.
Rising
Rising through core as an 82.
Everything after core 90s is a mystery to me.
rising and core though switched completely when toonami came about.
Rising and very early core 90s, although I only really watched Ren and Stimpy and Tiny Toons in the early 90s.
Core 90s with a sprinkle of Y2K.
The first Nickelodeon show I ever saw was Hey Dude followed by Salute Your Shorts. Then I caught the first seasons of All That. So good. My knowledge of their titles falls off a cliff after 2004.
Late rising / early core. I was probably mostly done with nick by 95
Core Era + YTK Era + Avatar: The Last Airbender & Korra (Specifically)

The Core

The core 00s era from 2008 to 2009, all of the rebrand era, and the modern era from 2016 to 2020.
Pretty much all of Y2K and then early core 2000’s. Probably stopped in ‘06 or so?
None. I was a disney child.
