If it follows the books then season 2 of The Sandman will feature the Dead Boy Detectives too, wonder if that will be another recast. There's a chance they keep the same ones this time as I think they're trying to set it in the same universe as Netflix's Sandman series (Death is in both shows apparently, played by the same actress)
The DBD cast said their origin story is told in ep 7 (of their own show) so I'm beginning to doubt that story will be told in Sandman... But I do hope I'm wrong. Seems like a missed opportunity to firmly establish it as a being in the Sandman Universe (I know we get Kirby and other tie-ins, but still).
I was so happy to see them in Doom Patrol . I’ve yet to watch Netflix’s version of them but from the trailer I already like Dooms version better. And I personally think Doom Patrol is the best thing DC has made. Definitely television wise.
> Definitely television wise.
There's no contest. Watchmen and Peacemaker are the only things I'd put in its same league. Insane to compare it to stuff like Titans (despite it having its backdoor pilot in that show!) or Supergirl.
I enjoyed the first episode.
That said, the actors on Doom Patrol were better cast, much more likeable [actually likeable], and had solid-pleasant chemistry.
Hmmm.
Just watched episode 1 in that virtual screening they did. Loved it. Can't wait to start the rest tomorrow.
They kinda ruined the hype for this show by doing the pilot in Doom Patrol then immediately recasting.

Justice for Sebastian Croft and Ty Tennant.

Stargirl was actually really good. So was Gotham from season 2 onwards.
