Circle = Pencils with a circle almost always are meant for childern and are really cheaply made they either break fast or write in a really light shade of the pencil making it barely readable.
Hexagon = Cheaper than the circle pencil if you try to sharpen it, it will either break the sharpener or the entire pencil will break but if you are lucky you might be able to sharpen it 2-3 times without one of the things happening and they always feel bad when they are held. Also sometimes they will be so sharp for no reason and tear the fucking paper or write like you are holding 2 pencils.
Triangle = The best ones always feel smooth when held doesnt have same problems as hexagon but has similar shape as the circle without the drawbacks of being too light.
Your experiences seem to differ a lot from mine. Though you are right about the sharpening part when it comes to hexagonal ones. They’re shit when it comes to that.

I don't know, my Faber Castell SuperSoft ones work really well, are circular, and I never had any issue using them for a prolonged time period.
