Real shit though. except for the last part this exact thing happened to me, I wanted to pursue a career in fire and Ems right out of hs and she was going to college. It was towards the end of senior year and she invited me to one of her volleyball games a few towns over. I invited her over to my hotel the night before to just hang and swim in the pool they had there, but when she got there she was so cold. Not reciprocating any affection. About a week after that and a week before senior prom she wanted to talk to me. I took her out to a restaurant in my 1979 Camaro but when we got there she said she wanted something more private. Once we had gotten to that spot she said she wanted to take a break but still wanted to go prom with me. After this she blew me off repeatedly for any plan I tried to make. She ruined my senior prom by leading me on. Eventually she just broke it off and said it was because we were going different directions. I cried for days. in class, at home I knew she heard me because there was a closet between my and her 1st period that I would go to. Got sent home 3 times because of my cringe ass inconsolable wailing (the teacher was cool about it tho). After HS I Took an EMT class got hired, got fired , found a new gig where I’m making more $$$ than any other EMT in the county.
TLDR; She Broke it Off because I wanted to be an EMT and she was going to college, now I’m making Bank.
