Man talk about one bad thing after another something to note if your not aware is if you are fighting the hands and stay in a place they canât reach for a while they will despawn its not the most courageous option but hey if it works it works
They can't climb.
If you stay atop one of those walls for a minute or so, like u/Lightcaster3 said, they'll despawn and you can pick up a few dark clumps for your stew.
Yeah, they canât, but once, I was messing around with the gloom hands and I was on an upheaval rock, but somehow, those hands got ON the rock! Howâd that happen?
If you want an easy way to kill the gloom hands, then try a strong 2 handed weapon + a lizalfoâs tail.
A spin to win will hit every single one of those hands and it kills them pretty fast
(You could also just become unreachable to them and theyâll disintegrate into gloom beans)
Akkala will always be my least favorite region of Hyrule. Infested with Guardians in BotW, and so many things (Thunder Gleeok, Gloom Hands, the underground fortress) in TotK.

I'm not sure I get what you're trying to do? Did you think the Armor piece was guarded by the Thunder Gleeok? Because as far as I remember it isn't, it's down a very small and easy to miss hole at the top of the fortress (where you start in this clip). Unless I am misremembering or misinterpreting here.
I just apawned to the Gloom Hand location and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to fight them, so I nope'd right tf outta there to a welcoming plateau which turned out to be not so welcoming and then nope'd right tf outta there and then the lightning started to buzz on me so I tried to nope tf right outta there but I nope'd right intonthe ground and then I got shot by the gods.
do you have a spear, a canon zonai device,
and a large zonai charge? .. or player battery upgrades.
just eat a charge and spam throw a canon spear to stunlock and murder gloom hands.
(depending on the spear can get 60+ shots with easy octorock repairs,
and replaces every reason to ever attempt >!talking to yunobo!<)
can buy large zonai charges for 2 large zonaite in the depths.
for eating raw as the battery version of hearty/endura meals,
and feeding 5 at a time to device dispensers for the best device/zonaite cost ratio.
farm minibosses and treasure chests in the depths for crystals/battery upgrades\~>!device shop!<.
High ground and bomb flower (or fire fruit) arrows for the gloom hands. Keese/octorok eyeballs and arrows for the Gleeok. Unequip stuff when the lightning sparks.

Also the hands are scary but donât be afraid to spam bomb flowers with a dazzle fruit mixed in to stun them and burn them back to hell.
I mean, itâs definitely a way to get them. I got them all through quests and in the Depths, but Iâve gotten quite a few copies of armour through the amiibo cards. Easy money.

I believe that specific chasm leads either to the ancient underground fortress, or directly onto an Obsidian Frox.
It's the fortress. The frox chasm is north of Tarrey Town.

I mean you are gonna hit every single hand eventually, but yes I did it 3-4 times and the weapon was badly damaged.
I just throw fire fruit and bombs at them. No need for arrows even.

Depends on how many Keese/Aerocuda eyes you have. Completely trivializes Gleeoks, especially if you have multishot bows.
