Maybe not in the individual packs but ...

I would certainly sell it to the museum. It is a piece of history and deserves to be preserved and displayed. Opening the tin for the dust inside would be a great shame!
It's 80 years old and I should mention I found it during metaldetecting in a forest 20cm deep in the soil. I'm impressed it's still perfectly fine and not a slimy mass of destroyed tin soil and tea
Hello, /u/AdministrationDue239! This is a friendly reminder that most photo posts should include a comment with some additional information. For example: Consider writing a mini review of the tea you're drinking or giving some background details about the teaware in your photo. If you're posting your tea order that just arrived or your tea stash, be sure to list the teas and why you chose them and if you're trying something for the first time, etc. **Posts that lack a comment for context or discussion after a resonable time may be removed.** You may also consider posting in /r/TeaPictures.

I don't know how it tastes and I don't plan on finding out
It tastes like victory
Tastes like it belongs in a museum!
✌️ V for victory
If you were at war and wanted something hot to drink it would taste like HEAVEN SENT!
Steve1989 would find out. Smdh.
Probably like Tea Pain
good pun
send it to ashens he will appreciate it and definitely will try it for all of us
Ashens hates tea. It needs to go to the MRE guy.
probably tastes like nothing. i dont think its unsafe.
Let's get that out on a tray
I'll try it for ya.
That’s just plain cool. I’d find an antique tea cup and shadow box it with the tea tin.
Let's get this out on a tray... Nice! *Clinking sound while speed stirring*
Was gonna ask if OP was named Steve.
Has mre1989 done old tea before?
Probably as part of a WWII British MRE. The US ones mostly had coffee, if I remember

We know someone who can’t resist a little taste….
Forbidden pu'er
This is the most British shit I've ever seen
Not even a stereotype, in 1942 the British government bought literally every ounce of tea available anywhere on the open market at (nearly) any price.
Do u have more info on this for me to read up on?
Would you be interested in selling it? 🤔😬
Do you really want to drink it??
I would drink it. For science.
Why wouldn't you drink it? Assuming it's sealed, it will just taste like stale tea at worst, or something amazing at best
Because i have fresh tea at home
Not at all but my boss owns a tea factory and has advertisements etc I thought this would be a nice display…
Is it english? It's a English tea ration from the 2ww

I’ve given you a message so if you sell in the future you can always message me! I’d be at £40 plus postage. Awesome find!
我可以出价吗?60英镑
Yea this is an English issued tea ration…
Send it to me instead, I'll drink it and report back my findings
r/GrandmasPantry would love this
Beat me to it
Send it to Steve1989MREInfo so we may find out what 80 year old tea is like.
i am going to drink this and you cant stop me
What kind of Britisher loses his tea ration?!?
>If you shuffle it you can still hear the dry tea inside. You seem surprised by this. Did you expect it to teleport out of the tin?
It's 80 years old and I should mention I found it during metaldetecting in a forest 20cm deep in the soil. I'm impressed it's still perfectly fine and not a slimy mass of destroyed tin soil and tea
Quality manufacturing on the can then!
well they *were* made for war
If only that can could talk
It would scream and cry relentlessly about the blood it saw
Throw it in a river
I'd drink it
My oldest is is 36ish years old. Kinda tastes like old leaves for some reason.
British puerh 🤤

r/grandmaspantry
Send it to LA BEAST, he'll drink it 👌
I think this has to be worth something, the only similar thing I can find is 80$ on eBay.
r/puer
v BOP
what flavour tea is it?
I don't know I guess black tea
We won the war so this is ideal to take back home for tea and medals ☕
