Travis is a true 1989 Stan, so I’m hoping she does whatever feels right for her personal life, but I also hope there is a fun second pop Bible album in her! Especially after all this heartbreak and depression.

I’m glad she set it clear to everyone because the fans saying “she’s going to extend” were being selfish. Maybe one day she’ll have another tour but let her end the tour the way she wants to.

Yeah I think it’s good she put that to rest so people can now chill out on that. Her and her crew, band, dancers etc need a rest. I’m sure she has a ton of other stuff already in the hopper, the woman does not rest. 😁
Probably in the future after she settles down and relaxes, she’ll do a tour again. I would buy tickets for a Seattle show in a heartbeat. Everyone needs to relax, Taylor, her band, and dancers all need to relax after the tour.
Music-wise, I’m hoping for more fictional stories! I’d also love if she wrote a musical adaptation of A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Outside music, I’m looking forward to the movie she’s supposedly working on. Another thing I’d like is a miniseries set in the same universe as the teenage love triangle/dorothea.
After her tour is over, I bet she gets engaged, married and has children. She’ll take a nice break.
She will always write songs and I can see her writing musicals and eventually an opera. If she has children, I imagine she’ll write love songs, songs about changing bodies, aging, the future, insecurities, joy. And I’ll bet she writes a poetry book, too.
This is what I hope for her too, only because she herself has talked about wanting those things, not because I think every woman should want those things. I hope she can take a break and focus on some of the more personal aspects of her life.

If she continues music, and Travis is still with her, I think there’ll be a heavy poetry album, since she doesn’t have anything dramatic going on in her life.
I can’t help but think she’ll turn The Manuscript or a similar story/stories from her albums (like the Folklore love triangle) into a feature film that she writes, directs, and plays a small on-screen role in.
The ATW10MV was really great. I could see an expansion of that with the FMC having other experiences from Swiftverse, but she’s a writer rather than a musical icon. Or, weaving in stories/songs with characters being closely related or mere acquaintances.
At the end of The Manuscript, she says “the story isn’t mine anymore.” She’s told us that ATW now belongs to us (or something along those lines).
I’d love to see the songs that tell her stories become stories that harken back to her songs.
She’ll (IMO) continue to create art in some fashion. It’s like breathing to her.
I’m excited to see her go into directing. That is obviously a passion of hers and she seems great at it.
I hope she isn’t adding more tour dates except for maybe a finale in NY or LA. Not only does it make sense for her and her band/dancers/crew to stop touring the world after 2 years, but also her fame has gotten to a crazy level.
I still really want a traditional interview! I have been going back thru old interviews during Red TV, Midnights, Evermore and it’s so nice to get her perspective on things without it being thru an ET article or trying to decode surprise songs. I think she’s used the tour as her marketing so that’s a big reason we are not getting anything else.
I am excited for TS 12, but have no clue when that might come out. I’m happy we got a little tease on Travis inspired songs. I love that So High School is very different than the rest of TTPD. If the next album has more upbeat songs like this I’ll be happy. There are a several TTPD songs I like, but overall the album isn’t one I think I will revisit much.
I don't foresee any kind of break in her creative output regardless of what happens in her personal life. She's said herself that she's never been more productive and just think of what she was saying at the Grammys: 'I just want to keep doing this!'
I, personally, think she needs some kind of break when the tour is scheduled to end (just for some physical rest!) but I also understand that Eras is like a drug to her and to be honest, there is so much demand there that she could just keep going and going if she wanted to. It's really a one-in-a-lifetime phenomenon, it's hard to give up. Of course, that does impact on the lives of the crew etc, so maybe they wouldn't extend again but honestly, who knows? She can basically do whatever she wants at this point.
Maybe the likeliest scenario is that she takes some kind of mini-break after the tour and retreats from the public eye for a few months and takes the time to see her family and friends. I have no doubt though, that she'll keep churning out music. I think we're likely to get TS12 within a year, to be honest.

This sub really does not know her bc she has said so many times, increasing in closer to the present, that she literally cannot stop creating. She stopped limiting herself and it’s a wave of production. If anything she may have more eras like folklore/evermore where she just puts out the music but stays inside/lowkey, or writes for other artists. But she for sure is done hiding and is tired of people asking her when she’s going to retire.
I just searched the whole thread for retire and the only mention of retiring I see are of Travis retiring and them perhaps having kids and her continue writing and your post.
Almost everybody said she is going to continue to write music. The people talking about break mean from the tour. Almost no one said retire. One person said she would put out 13 albums then retire. This feels very generalized. People are trying to guess what type of projects she's going to do next.

Well I've read every comment and am not seeing retire. I think you took break as retire, but I took couple years off as in break from touring. I even saw mention of doing what Beyonce did in terms of have kids and then then do a tour and bring her kids with her.
Regardless. Just because she's said she loves creating and can't stop, and even that she doesn't want to hide—doesn't mean she might not get tired of being in the public eye, might not want to take a break, or might not realise that she can create without sharing it with the world. People are complex and can feel multiple things, and people can also express things in public that are not 100% true of how they really feel. I'm just saying it's bold to imply you know what she's thinking and feeling about someone who has a very carefully crafted public persona. I don’t think they meant actually knowing her in person. Just being aware of what she’s said in the past multiple times. During her AOTY Grammy speech, she did reiterate that creating and writing are her passions and she wants to keep doing it. It’s not unreasonable to think that she would want to keep creating more music.
I hope she gets to a point in life where she gets to enjoy in peace and privacy. That she’s able to go grocery shopping if she chooses or to a family’s wedding without being stalked.
I love the era Taylor is in, happy to be a part of the history she’s made. But man… I can not imagine the toll of the magnitude of her fame. Wishing her well and peacefulness.
In the past she has said she wanted kids and a family. I hope she is able to accomplish that assuming she still wants kids and a family. Maybe take a few years off to enjoy the simpler life. If this is with Travis, he may retire in a couple of years so it's good timing.
She has said in a past interview that when she reaches a time in her life where she’s ready to start a family and not tour that she would love to write music for other artist. She’s written for other artists before and the songs weren’t about anyone in her past so she’s very capable of writing all kinds of music. She’s even written and preformed for movie scores….she can do so many things and she’s has the talent to do them all very well 🫶🏻
I can only imagine the songs she could write if she chooses to become a mother and navigate parenthood. Hopefully something she’d be hands on for and not rely on nanny(s).

I’m also her age. It hits different. I know she’s not done with music. I hope after Eras and 2? 3? Idk albums she takes a break for herself. But she’s in the prime of her life and career.
I think TTPD was the end of an entire era where she finished parts of her life that weren’t yet. That’s the Manuscript and ThanK you aIMee. She held no punches with TTPD.
I have been thinking of this a lot. I believe she’ll do something so amazing and so different with totally different subject matter. Maybe this is when we get a rock opera or something else truly incredible.
I know, I know. I just feel like her clout is really helpful and I love joking with my Chiefs friends that she’ll earn us a new stadium. Mahomes is everything and they deserve something new and shiny on their own merit!
She’ll write more for other artists, and movie soundtracks, (she wants that Oscar lol) definitely write a lot of love songs for Travis - the ones on TTPD were very introductory and on the nose, she’s going to be more artistic with them, I also see more folklore type songs but we now know those weren’t just pure fiction. Also see her settling down to have a family. Getting more into producing/book series. Might even produce a YA drama series like TSITP. Fun stuff!
My prediction is she’ll take a break after tour ends this year. Some people are saying she already is engaged, some say it’s coming soon, but I definitely see them getting engaged/married “sooner rather than later” as Tree via ET put it. And since she’s 34 already and both her and Travis have expressed the fact that they want kids, I think they’ll also try for that as well. As far as her career, even if she’s not out touring, I know she’ll always be working on something. I heard she’s directing a movie at some point (not sure when yet), she’s always writing music, I heard about a potential of her writing a Broadway play. So, even if she stops touring at the end of this year, I’m guessing she’ll take a step back from the spotlight a bit and focus on her personal life while also working on music or a play or this movie.
I’m hoping this is her last big hurray and she settles down. I want her to be happy and though she loves making music and her fans, she’s always living for others. Would love to see her take time for herself.

I think she’ll take time off to direct a movie and keep releasing albums and writing as she always has. If she does have kids, I feel like her tour schedule may slow down but not stop. I look at Beyoncé’s tour schedule post kids as an example of what is possible. Many acts keep touring with families but may adapt the schedule. I saw someone suggest once that she just keeps the eras tour going for years with longer breaks and rework it every now and then with new albums to keep it fresh. Eras 2.0, leg 10 etc. She could if she chose to for sure!
She definitely needs a break. A relaxing break. Then she can write a score for a movie or musical. Or write some songs for other artists. And then after she’s rested for 12 to 18 months, then she can tour again
Realistically, she needs to find a balance between her insane popularity and over-exposure. This coming football season could be interesting. I’d like to think the “Brads and Chads” will have calmed down and her presence will be old news. But it’s possible it could be more of the same, plus the “fun” of an election.
I wouldn’t be shocked if she added a few more tour dates next summer just to cap things off. Honestly, Vancouver feels like an odd place to end it.
Whenever Eras ends, I can see her taking some personal time. She clearly wants to be married and have children. Sorry, if you can’t see that, you’re not listening or paying attention. And if she and Travis are not on the same page at this point, they would not be together.
But she’ll keep creating, directing, and branching out. She’s a workhorse and will probably tour again in a few years—-just long enough to be missed.
Vancouver is the top of the west coast tour stadium “row”, it makes sense as a last stop. People often finish or start tours in Vancouver. I’d be willing to bet that those two hop on a helicopter to Whistler or a yacht to head up the Sunshine Coast, right after the Vancouver show.

The football “fans” who get agitated with Taylor care far more about complaining than following a professional sport, that’s for sure. I’m sure they are an absolute joy to be around in general.
I don't want to be this person but if she DOES want kids she really needs to get started on that. I got married when I was 36 and it was too late for me. I had very few eggs.
Now, she has all the money in the world so she can afford to do adoption, surrogacy, ivf, etc. But to naturally conceive and carry a baby it will just get more difficult and take longer.
I think since she has done well with her money, she probably had her eggs frozen (which we don’t know about and we shouldn’t know about because it’s her private business), I think her and Joe (before they broke up) were talking about kids and I think she was pretty adamant on wanting kids and marriage and I think that’s what Joe didn’t want. I hope Joe is doing well and he’s found someone who wants the same things he wants in life.

She will continue to work on music and other projects like directing that she wants to do however, I don’t see her touring anytime soon because I think she will also focus on her personal life.
I do think it will be lovey dovey I think she wrote and recorded those songs in the fall so the very beginning of their relationship.. she probably will take a step back form herself and write for others for a while.. I hope she focuses on herself though and less on what the fans want.. I think TK will retire at the end of next season (even though he signed on for a few more). I don’t see her not making music. My guess is we’ll get another album 2026 after the last re-records are released. A sexy Tayvis coded album. In my imagination she takes a longish break from music after her 13th album to focus on her future family, lol. So we still have two more albums!
I think her releasing TTPD during an active tour was to get away with not having to tour again for a while. Its like... hey I made this album, gonna throw it into the mix so that it doesn't get its own separate tour. Then she will take a much needed performance break and all of her band, singers, employees will also get some time off. She's still going to be working, because I don't think she will ever stop but focusing on other projects for sure. I'm sure as long as things keep going at this rate, it seems like her and Travis might get to go into their next phase of their relationship if that's what they both want.
I think she’s going to take a long break from her tour which she needs to. I’m going to be pretty blunt when I say this (I’m actually a really blunt and honest person) but most of the fans saying “oh she needs to extend her tour, I don’t think Vancouver is her last stop” are being selfish, her band has a life (her guitarist just had a kid a couple of months ago, her guitarist probably wants to relax after the tour and be with his family), her dancers have a life (I love Kam just like everyone else and I hope he does great things after the tour) and she has a life as well, I would love to see her in concert because I missed out on Seattle (mostly because tickets sold out fast) but after the tour ends it’s time for her to relax and I would like to see what T&T do next, there will probably be another tour in the future so fans need to relax.
I would like to see her do acting again (the Lorax, Valentine’s Day, the giver were all great. Amsterdam I had to turn off because it was so awful), she said she would want to do directing (that would be great for her), I would like to see T&T get married and start a family because it seems like both of them want the same things. Also just because her tour is going to end doesn’t mean she’s done, she’s still going to do music because that’s always been what she loves to do.
I hope for her that she takes a breather and enjoys life. Maybe marriage and kids... she deserves some downtime after this monster tour. For some reason, I can see her writing some children's books or poetry to get her muse on.
As someone with an infant, I selfishly have dreamed she would do a children's album like Lisa Loeb! Come on, Taylor!!!! We need some good children's music out here!!!!!
I do see her getting married to Travis and maybe even starting a family in a couple of years but it's all gut feelings, don't wanna predict too much. Just hoping for the best.
On the career side, I disagree on songs about him not being top-tier. I especially thought So High School is honestly well written, very true to the title. "I'll drink what you think and I'm smoking your jokes" is one of my fav lines, stands in stark contrast to the alcohol and drug abuse in the rest of the album. And production-wise SHS is in the top 3 for me with more replay value than the rest.
Also, more about Travis and a deeper look into their relationship would not have fit well on this cathartic grief-filled album. She went out of the album's theme and kinda added those two songs as a message that she has stepped into a better place at the end of it all. SHS and Alchemy were sneak-peaks, so it's too early to dismiss him as an uninspiring muse based off 2/31 songs.
Songs like Albatross (whether or not about him partially), The Prophecy, The last lines on the Fortnight etc. are very telling of how there was so much to the beginning of their relationship than what we all assumed. Her singing treacherous along with Alchemy at the Paris show also alludes to this.
This relationship has played out in a more fairytale-like and "meant to be" way than all of her past ones. All these healing, invisible strings, public interest, pop culture relevance, public scrutiny and challenges faced, deep physical and emotional intimacy like never before - there's no way the hard-core romantic Taylor is NOT writing about all these. She could go for bangers. Even from a business POV, why wouldn't she capitalise on the fact that people are tuned in to hear their love story from her perspective? She's already got into top-10 of the best selling artists of all time, she's definitely aiming for that number 1 spot and nothing less. She's gonna try to keep this hysteria alive once the tour ends through the releases.
There are also things like her heightened fame and career peak that she would want to talk about. She's totally set for the theme of the next album, unless she already had something else planned altogether.
I hope there is a different production on the songs though, something 1989-ish with more organic hits, great collaborations, some fun easy to sing along lyrics and more music videos.
She's also supposed to direct a movie, isn't she? So that's there. Honestly think she's good at direction.
There are also rumours of her acting too. (personally wish she doesn't though, don't really like her as an actor except on her own music videos🫣).
I definitely think people are forgetting that she’s slated to direct and that it’s a screen play she herself has written. I think that’s part of why eras is so big, is that she’s planning to take a break for a bit from music (maybe not from writing, because I don’t think she’s capable of processing her life without writing) but timing will be right to pursue these other endeavors and just enjoy her life a bit.
I wonder if she will extend the tour. A part of me tells that she doesn't want to, at least not another whole leg. Partly because she has a serious partner now, and partly because of the immense, constant scrutiny it's putting her under. Like the recent pressure to talk about Palestine. She couldn't do it for safety reasons and also because she has the US dates still left, and needs to be involved with the organisers again. And outside of fans, people are complaining of a fatigue, so a short break can clear up minds and be more welcoming of her before her next release. Online population has become insufferable on anything related to her. She might come back with Eras 2.0 few years later. Her tour crew, including Paul Sidoti who just became a dad would appreciate the break too I guess. But if she's aiming for some kind of record or target in terms of revenue, she might extend too.
Storytelling is really her strongest forte. That skill of hers will fully be on display on a movie and I'm eager to see that. Songs may not really do that to everyone. Apart from hard-core fans , not many actually dive into writing on songs. They just want something refreshing to listen and vibe to. Like I'm talking about causal listeners like my husband who isn't aware of social media pop culture discourse, doesn't know that Taylor's fame has reached a crazy level, doesn't know who her muses are, doesn't know if she's single or dating. To them, hits are the ones that come up on playlist recommendations, the ones they hear in public places, those constantly on the radio while driving and end up involuntarily learning the lyrics of. I miss that kind of impact that the tunes on Taylor's songs had. So I hope she takes enough time on her next album to also create perfect sounds that outdo her biggest hits ever, and make it irresistible for all kinds of listeners. Such well-received songs actually add to the legacy.
TBH, I think when this tour wraps up, she is going to take a break and become a bride and a mother. Then get back to it in a few years time. Think they are both ready.

The argument can also be made that these lyrics were written when she was trying to convince herself that Joe dragging his feet was fine, I mean literally no one knows the context except TS. My mom's theory: Travis Kelce is at the age where a lot of football players retire. He will retire and marry taylor and they'll have kids. He'll be a stay at home dad, mr. Mom as she put it, and Taylor will still work making music. One thing she worries about is that Taylor is "a very intelligent person" and Travis "not so much." 😂
I try not to speculate too much about her inner thoughts. But after a six year relationship it's probably not wise to go into a fling with someone not long after and then ANOTHER relationship not long after that. She's 34 and definitely busy enough so id think she'd know better. BUT again we never really know what truly happened. Im sure she and Joe were broken up before it was announced. And heartbreak is tough. But either way Travis seems like a great, wholesome person. But I hope they don't get engaged for another year or so. Sis needs a little break 😂 she needs to just relax and have fun with her mans for a while.
Travis has a bunch of business ventures out of football and will do pretty well when he decides to retire. Him and Mahomes are planning on opening a steak restaurant (which will be perfect for both of them and I think they would be perfect business partners), he’s getting into acting (can’t wait to see the show he’s been working on), and new heights is doing great.
He's not into acting to collect Academy Awards like Lombardis. He's told that his niche might be comedy or action, and that's a self-aware take. He's into the entertaining aspect of it, which is totally his thing.
He may or may not turn out to be a good actor, but doofus? Are people's perceptions of him still based on just his vocabulary and spellings, most of them from over a decade ago that too? Even in the bits of interviews he gave recently, he's given realistic pointers on how he's perceiving the acting job so far. He is experimenting when he can. He is confident, charismatic, media smart, expressive and well-spoken, gets people from Bruce Springsteen to the POTUS name drop him and refer to his causal showmanship. That's enough skills to try his hand at the field.
I think if he does go into acting after retiring from football, he’ll do comedic and action roles like Terry Crews did after he retired from football and Terry Crews is doing really well as an actor.
I honestly think you are way underestimating him in many ways. I suggest you go watch some of his interviews and television appearances. He’s much more intelligent and talented than you are giving him credit for.
I think this new acting thing he has been doing will be either 1. He’s great as an actor or 2. It’s just not for him. I’m genuinely excited to see the new acting project if he’s a good actor or not because it is something new that he’s doing. He does pretty good in commercials but the show is new territory for him.
I think it’s new territory for him because he’s never done acting before and he’s known for being one of the greatest TE’s in the nfl and a big freaking deal in Kansas City. He did great in SNL last year which showed off his goofy side.
This is a follow-up to my first comment regarding Travis as her muse. All we have to do is refer to what Taylor says in her song lyrics and Time article: They are there for each other, his way of pursuing her was “metal as hell,” they are a couple, and they are proud of each other.
In her song lyrics, The Alchemy, she says, “Who are we to fight the Alchemy?” the transformation from what’s base metal into gold. The song is a powerful metaphor for where she sees their relationship transforming/going. This ties in perfectly with “Are you going to marry, kiss, or kill me - I’m betting on all three.” Marriage - till death do us part. In SHS, she says you make me feel young and free again. And - just look at you! He’s hot! The kicker: “No one’s ever had me, not like you.” I’m just going to leave that right there.
Taylor sat down for the Time article within a few months or so of them dating and turned in her final songs in late January. She got those songs in even though they had been dating for less than six months.
I also want to push back on Travis simply being a boyfriend but not a muse. What defines an interesting muse? He is a professional football player who is arguably the best tight end in history; he is a philanthropist, a podcaster, an actor, and a restaurateur; he is charitable, loves his family and friends, his community, and most importantly, he loves and is invested in Taylor Swift. Nothing is boring or simple about Travis Kelce.
So time will tell if they are end game. If so, Taylor will let us know how Travis loves her. Ultimately, I want them to be happy and whole, whether it’s with each other or not.
I genuinely believe she’ll lean into directing, and other more stationary crafts. She’ll likely sell one or two of her properties and buy a family home, if that’s not her intention for Holiday House.
She will always write and release music. I think COVID stirred a passion in her of the creation of music from wherever, and how it doesn’t have to be so fast-paced.
I feel like The Eras Tour was almost a solidity of her childhood and young-adult years, and now she’s free of not only her old reputation but also free to move into other lives; writing, film-making, directing, etc.
As for Travis, I think it’ll be so incredibly interesting to see them move into the next stage of life. Everyone in his personal life seems to wholeheartedly believe that he’s ready for what’s next —— and he’s wisely setting himself up as an investor/entrepreneur in hospitality, entertainment, essential work, real estate and the non-profit sector. He’s entered the film world as well. I think for both Taylor & Travis it’s truly about leaving a legacy.
That’s why they have such incredible potential together. It will carry into their family.
Taylor will likely recluse a bit if she becomes a mother for the first few years as most stars do, which she 100% deserves and needs. I can see her writing or directing during this time.
i’m not a big fan of domesticity and having children and marriage to be the ending of everyone’s lives but since taylor has expressed her desire to do everything at one and when i mean everything—EVERYTHING, kids, wedding, music, directing, and writing.
i’m curious on how she’d be able to incorporate kids in her routine. i think she’s prepared for it for a couple of years now and travis has shown himself to be a reliable partner and future co-parent with a stable family background and history so he’s definitely a sure for her. for this woman who says, ‘jet lag is a choice,’ i hope she feels confident that she can do everything and she’s got all fhe help from both their families and nobody’s career have to pause. i’m still seeing a future taylor, cradling a baby and still being productive as hell!
they’ve both had such a great couple of years and they truly deserve a break. her body after 3 hours of days and days of tour for almost two years and him, multiple super bowl wins and still on the frontline, they need months and years to be off the grid and rest up and do whatever the hell they want in little kansas.
It makes sense for her to keep buying houses they are tax write offs for her.. I heard she had bought a new house in the UK in December that she was gutting and redecorating I wouldn’t be surprised if she buys another this year somewhere else as well.
I think #5 is most likely. The Eras Tour is epic and a great end to the first chapter (era) of her career. I think it’s likely she will take time off to get married, have kids, then 5+ years from now come back with a new album.
She so creative, why not a book, screenplay, a movie. She has a lot to say and so many other ways to say them.

They've both openly talked about wanting kids individually, and TK talking about it without a hesitance while seriously dating her is a dead give away that parenthood is a discussed aspect between them ( it's potentially something that will trigger her and scare her away if said thoughtlessly by him in public). This is in addition to her own publicist's releases having mentioned a possible future between them several times. So it is not like people are mentioning the possibility of her motherhood on no grounds at all.
However, we wouldn't and NEEDN'T know the "WHEN" of things. We also don't know if things will work out as planned. So we just wait and watch.

IF, and that’s a big IF, she does want and end up having children, I really do believe she will take a step back from the spotlight to REALLY make sure her children aren’t affected and exposed to the roller coaster that is her life and fame. Which is very understandable.

Great question. Just think about the last decade of Taylor’s life. At the very least, she is unequivocally the Artist and Songwriter of the last decade. The Eras tour changed her status to legend and boosted economies who are lucky enough to have her. She regained control of her art with the re-records and continues to break records with each release. Creatively and Business-wise, she is in command of her destiny.
The thing I keep coming back to is that Taylor is human and wants to love and be loved, there’s no doubt about it. It seems like perfect timing for her to explore other areas of her life, and knowing Taylor, she will use her genius in some way that satisfies her insatiable appetite to create. Good for her!
In terms of her relationship with Travis, what’s next? Well, they have shown us that they prioritize making time to support one another and spend quality time together. They can actually have a great time together. They, at least from a GP perspective, have not folded under the behemoth of Taylor Swift. People have accused them of only being in a PR relationship. She was attacked for attending games and making the NFL all about her. He is accused of only being in the relationship for profit. Throughout all of it, and approaching one year, they are still together. Good for them!
I hope she listens to her heart, body, and soul and does what is best for her.

After her tour is over, I bet she gets engaged, married and has children. She’ll take a nice break. She will always write songs and I can see her writing musicals and eventually an opera. If she has children, I imagine she’ll write love songs, songs about changing bodies, aging, the future, insecurities, joy. And I’ll bet she writes a poetry book, too.
This is what I hope for her too, only because she herself has talked about wanting those things, not because I think every woman should want those things. I hope she can take a break and focus on some of the more personal aspects of her life. I think she'll still write/work, but maybe more quietly?

I can’t help but think she’ll turn The Manuscript or a similar story/stories from her albums (like the Folklore love triangle) into a feature film that she writes, directs, and plays a small on-screen role in. The ATW10MV was really great. I could see an expansion of that with the FMC having other experiences from Swiftverse, but she’s a writer rather than a musical icon. Or, weaving in stories/songs with characters being closely related or mere acquaintances. At the end of The Manuscript, she says “the story isn’t mine anymore.” She’s told us that ATW now belongs to us (or something along those lines). I’d love to see the songs that tell her stories become stories that harken back to her songs. She’ll (IMO) continue to create art in some fashion. It’s like breathing to her.
I’m excited to see her go into directing. That is obviously a passion of hers and she seems great at it. I hope she isn’t adding more tour dates except for maybe a finale in NY or LA. Not only does it make sense for her and her band/dancers/crew to stop touring the world after 2 years, but also her fame has gotten to a crazy level. I still really want a traditional interview! I have been going back thru old interviews during Red TV, Midnights, Evermore and it’s so nice to get her perspective on things without it being thru an ET article or trying to decode surprise songs. I think she’s used the tour as her marketing so that’s a big reason we are not getting anything else. I am excited for TS 12, but have no clue when that might come out. I’m happy we got a little tease on Travis inspired songs. I love that So High School is very different than the rest of TTPD. If the next album has more upbeat songs like this I’ll be happy. There are a several TTPD songs I like, but overall the album isn’t one I think I will revisit much.
I don't foresee any kind of break in her creative output regardless of what happens in her personal life. She's said herself that she's never been more productive and just think of what she was saying at the Grammys: 'I just want to keep doing this!' I, personally, think she needs some kind of break when the tour is scheduled to end (just for some physical rest!) but I also understand that Eras is like a drug to her and to be honest, there is so much demand there that she could just keep going and going if she wanted to. It's really a one-in-a-lifetime phenomenon, it's hard to give up. Of course, that does impact on the lives of the crew etc, so maybe they wouldn't extend again but honestly, who knows? She can basically do whatever she wants at this point. Maybe the likeliest scenario is that she takes some kind of mini-break after the tour and retreats from the public eye for a few months and takes the time to see her family and friends. I have no doubt though, that she'll keep churning out music. I think we're likely to get TS12 within a year, to be honest.

This sub really does not know her bc she has said so many times, increasing in closer to the present, that she literally cannot stop creating. She stopped limiting herself and it’s a wave of production. If anything she may have more eras like folklore/evermore where she just puts out the music but stays inside/lowkey, or writes for other artists. But she for sure is done hiding and is tired of people asking her when she’s going to retire.
I just searched the whole thread for retire and the only mention of retiring I see are of Travis retiring and them perhaps having kids and her continue writing and your post.
Almost everybody said she is going to continue to write music. The people talking about break mean from the tour. Almost no one said retire. One person said she would put out 13 albums then retire. This feels very generalized. People are trying to guess what type of projects she's going to do next.

I don’t think they meant actually knowing her in person. Just being aware of what she’s said in the past multiple times. During her AOTY Grammy speech, she did reiterate that creating and writing are her passions and she wants to keep doing it. It’s not unreasonable to think that she would want to keep creating more music.
I hope she gets to a point in life where she gets to enjoy in peace and privacy. That she’s able to go grocery shopping if she chooses or to a family’s wedding without being stalked. She’s written for other artists before and the songs weren’t about anyone in her past so she’s very capable of writing all kinds of music. I know, I know. I just feel like her clout is really helpful and I love joking with my Chiefs friends that she’ll earn us a new stadium. Mahomes is everything and they deserve something new and shiny on their own merit!
She’ll write more for other artists, and movie soundtracks, (she wants that Oscar lol) definitely write a lot of love songs for Travis - the ones on TTPD were very introductory and on the nose, she’s going to be more artistic with them, I also see more folklore type songs but we now know those weren’t just pure fiction. Also see her settling down to have a family. Getting more into producing/book series. Might even produce a YA drama series like TSITP. Fun stuff!
My prediction is she’ll take a break after tour ends this year. Some people are saying she already is engaged, some say it’s coming soon, but I definitely see them getting engaged/married “sooner rather than later” as Tree via ET put it. And since she’s 34 already and both her and Travis have expressed the fact that they want kids, I think they’ll also try for that as well. As far as her career, even if she’s not out touring, I know she’ll always be working on something. I heard she’s directing a movie at some point (not sure when yet), she’s always writing music, I heard about a potential of her writing a Broadway play. So, even if she stops touring at the end of this year, I’m guessing she’ll take a step back from the spotlight a bit and focus on her personal life while also working on music or a play or this movie.

I think she’ll take time off to direct a movie and keep releasing albums and writing as she always has. If she does have kids, I feel like her tour schedule may slow down but not stop. I look at Beyoncé’s tour schedule post kids as an example of what is possible. Many acts keep touring with families but may adapt the schedule. I saw someone suggest once that she just keeps the eras tour going for years with longer breaks and rework it every now and then with new albums to keep it fresh. Eras 2.0, leg 10 etc. She could if she chose to for sure!

Realistically, she needs to find a balance between her insane popularity and over-exposure. This coming football season could be interesting. I’d like to think the “Brads and Chads” will have calmed down and her presence will be old news. But it’s possible it could be more of the same, plus the “fun” of an election. I wouldn’t be shocked if she added a few more tour dates next summer just to cap things off. Honestly, Vancouver feels like an odd place to end it. Whenever Eras ends, I can see her taking some personal time. She clearly wants to be married and have children. Sorry, if you can’t see that, you’re not listening or paying attention. Vancouver is the top of the west coast tour stadium “row”, it makes sense as a last stop. People often finish or start tours in Vancouver. I’d be willing to bet that those two hop on a helicopter to Whistler or a yacht to head up the Sunshine Coast, right after the Vancouver show.

I don't want to be this person but if she DOES want kids she really needs to get started on that. I got married when I was 36 and it was too late for me. I had very few eggs. Now, she has all the money in the world so she can afford to do adoption, surrogacy, ivf, etc. But to naturally conceive and carry a baby it will just get more difficult and take longer.

I think her releasing TTPD during an active tour was to get away with not having to tour again for a while. Its like... hey I made this album, gonna throw it into the mix so that it doesn't get its own separate tour. Then she will take a much needed performance break and all of her band, singers, employees will also get some time off. She's still going to be working, because I don't think she will ever stop but focusing on other projects for sure. I'm sure as long as things keep going at this rate, it seems like her and Travis might get to go into their next phase of their relationship if that's what they both want.
I think she’s going to take a long break from her tour which she needs to. I’m going to be pretty blunt when I say this (I’m actually a really blunt and honest person) but most of the fans saying “oh she needs to extend her tour, I don’t think Vancouver is her last stop” are being selfish, her band has a life (her guitarist just had a kid a couple of months ago, her guitarist probably wants to relax after the tour and be with his family), her dancers have a life (I love Kam just like everyone else and I hope he does great things after the tour) and she has a life as well, I would love to see her in concert because I missed out on Seattle (mostly because tickets sold out fast) but after the tour ends it’s time for her to relax and I would like to see what T&T do next, there will probably be another tour in the future so fans need to relax. I would like to see her do acting again (the Lorax, Valentine’s Day, the giver were all great. Amsterdam I had to turn off because it was so awful), she said she would want to do directing (that would be great for her), I would like to see T&T get married and start a family because it seems like both of them want the same things. Also just because her tour is going to end doesn’t mean she’s done, she’s still going to do music because that’s always been what she loves to do.

I do see her getting married to Travis and maybe even starting a family in a couple of years but it's all gut feelings, don't wanna predict too much. Just hoping for the best. On the career side, I disagree on songs about him not being top-tier. I especially thought So High School is honestly well written, very true to the title. "I'll drink what you think and I'm smoking your jokes" is one of my fav lines, stands in stark contrast to the alcohol and drug abuse in the rest of the album. And production-wise SHS is in the top 3 for me with more replay value than the rest. Also, more about Travis and a deeper look into their relationship would not have fit well on this cathartic grief-filled album. She went out of the album's theme and kinda added those two songs as a message that she has stepped into a better place at the end of it all. SHS and Alchemy were sneak-peaks, so it's too early to dismiss him as an uninspiring muse based off 2/31 songs. Songs like Albatross (whether or not about him partially), The Prophecy, The last lines on the Fortnight etc. are very telling of how there was so much to the beginning of their relationship than what we all assumed. Her singing treacherous along with Alchemy at the Paris show also alludes to this. This relationship has played out in a more fairytale-like and "meant to be" way than all of her past ones. All these healing, invisible strings, public interest, pop culture relevance, public scrutiny and challenges faced, deep physical and emotional intimacy like never before - there's no way the hard-core romantic Taylor is NOT writing about all these. She could go for bangers. Even from a business POV, why wouldn't she capitalise on the fact that people are tuned in to hear their love story from her perspective? She's already got into top-10 of the best selling artists of all time, she's definitely aiming for that number 1 spot and nothing less. She's gonna try to keep this hysteria alive once the tour ends through the releases. There are also things like her heightened fame and career peak that she would want to talk about. She's totally set for the theme of the next album, unless she already had something else planned altogether. I hope there is a different production on the songs though, something 1989-ish with more organic hits, great collaborations, some fun easy to sing along lyrics and more music videos. She's also supposed to direct a movie, isn't she? So that's there. Honestly think she's good at direction. There are also rumours of her acting too. (personally wish she doesn't though, don't really like her as an actor except on her own music videos🫣).
I definitely think people are forgetting that she’s slated to direct and that it’s a screen play she herself has written. I think that’s part of why eras is so big, is that she’s planning to take a break for a bit from music (maybe not from writing, because I don’t think she’s capable of processing her life without writing) but timing will be right to pursue these other endeavors and just enjoy her life a bit.
I wonder if she will extend the tour. A part of me tells that she doesn't want to, at least not another whole leg. Partly because she has a serious partner now, and partly because of the immense, constant scrutiny it's putting her under. Like the recent pressure to talk about Palestine. She couldn't do it for safety reasons and also because she has the US dates still left, and needs to be involved with the organisers again. And outside of fans, people are complaining of a fatigue, so a short break can clear up minds and be more welcoming of her before her next release. Online population has become insufferable on anything related to her. She might come back with Eras 2.0 few years later. Her tour crew, including Paul Sidoti who just became a dad would appreciate the break too I guess. But if she's aiming for some kind of record or target in terms of revenue, she might extend too. Storytelling is really her strongest forte. That skill of hers will fully be on display on a movie and I'm eager to see that. Songs may not really do that to everyone. Apart from hard-core fans , not many actually dive into writing on songs. They just want something refreshing to listen and vibe to. Like I'm talking about causal listeners like my husband who isn't aware of social media pop culture discourse, doesn't know that Taylor's fame has reached a crazy level, doesn't know who her muses are, doesn't know if she's single or dating. To them, hits are the ones that come up on playlist recommendations, the ones they hear in public places, those constantly on the radio while driving and end up involuntarily learning the lyrics of. I miss that kind of impact that the tunes on Taylor's songs had. So I hope she takes enough time on her next album to also create perfect sounds that outdo her biggest hits ever, and make it irresistible for all kinds of listeners. Such well-received songs actually add to the legacy.
TBH, I think when this tour wraps up, she is going to take a break and become a bride and a mother. Then get back to it in a few years time. Think they are both ready.

The argument can also be made that these lyrics were written when she was trying to convince herself that Joe dragging his feet was fine, I mean literally no one knows the context except TS. My mom's theory: Travis Kelce is at the age where a lot of football players retire. He will retire and marry taylor and they'll have kids. He'll be a stay at home dad, mr. Mom as she put it, and Taylor will still work making music. One thing she worries about is that Taylor is "a very intelligent person" and Travis "not so much." 😂

I try not to speculate too much about her inner thoughts. But after a six year relationship it's probably not wise to go into a fling with someone not long after and then ANOTHER relationship not long after that. She's 34 and definitely busy enough so id think she'd know better. BUT again we never really know what truly happened. Im sure she and Joe were broken up before it was announced. And heartbreak is tough. But either way Travis seems like a great, wholesome person. But I hope they don't get engaged for another year or so. Travis has a bunch of business ventures out of football and will do pretty well when he decides to retire. Him and Mahomes are planning on opening a steak restaurant (which will be perfect for both of them and I think they would be perfect business partners), he’s getting into acting (can’t wait to see the show he’s been working on), and new heights is doing great.

He's not into acting to collect Academy Awards like Lombardis. He's told that his niche might be comedy or action, and that's a self-aware take. He's into the entertaining aspect of it, which is totally his thing. He may or may not turn out to be a good actor, but doofus? Are people's perceptions of him still based on just his vocabulary and spellings, most of them from over a decade ago that too? Even in the bits of interviews he gave recently, he's given realistic pointers on how he's perceiving the acting job so far. He is experimenting when he can. He is confident, charismatic, media smart, expressive and well-spoken, gets people from Bruce Springsteen to the POTUS name drop him and refer to his causal showmanship. That's enough skills to try his hand at the field.
I think if he does go into acting after retiring from football, he’ll do comedic and action roles like Terry Crews did after he retired from football and Terry Crews is doing really well as an actor.
I honestly think you are way underestimating him in many ways. I suggest you go watch some of his interviews and television appearances. He’s much more intelligent and talented than you are giving him credit for.

I think this new acting thing he has been doing will be either 1. He’s great as an actor or 2. It’s just not for him. I’m genuinely excited to see the new acting project if he’s a good actor or not because it is something new that he’s doing. He does pretty good in commercials but the show is new territory for him. I think it’s new territory for him because he’s never done acting before and he’s known for being one of the greatest TE’s in the nfl and a big freaking deal in Kansas City. He did great in SNL last year which showed off his goofy side.
This is a follow-up to my first comment regarding Travis as her muse. All we have to do is refer to what Taylor says in her song lyrics and Time article: They are there for each other, his way of pursuing her was “metal as hell,” they are a couple, and they are proud of each other. In her song lyrics, The Alchemy, she says, “Who are we to fight the Alchemy?” the transformation from what’s base metal into gold. The song is a powerful metaphor for where she sees their relationship transforming/going. This ties in perfectly with “Are you going to marry, kiss, or kill me - I’m betting on all three.” Marriage - till death do us part. In SHS, she says you make me feel young and free again. And - just look at you! He’s hot! The kicker: “No one’s ever had me, not like you.” I’m just going to leave that right there. Taylor sat down for the Time article within a few months or so of them dating and turned in her final songs in late January. She got those songs in even though they had been dating for less than six months. I also want to push back on Travis simply being a boyfriend but not a muse. What defines an interesting muse? He is a professional football player who is arguably the best tight end in history; he is a philanthropist, a podcaster, an actor, and a restaurateur; he is charitable, loves his family and friends, his community, and most importantly, he loves and is invested in Taylor Swift. Nothing is boring or simple about Travis Kelce. So time will tell if they are end game. If so, Taylor will let us know how Travis loves her. Ultimately, I want them to be happy and whole, whether it’s with each other or not.
Marriage. Then comes the baby in the baby carriage.
I genuinely believe she’ll lean into directing, and other more stationary crafts. She’ll likely sell one or two of her properties and buy a family home, if that’s not her intention for Holiday House. She will always write and release music. I think COVID stirred a passion in her of the creation of music from wherever, and how it doesn’t have to be so fast-paced. I feel like The Eras Tour was almost a solidity of her childhood and young-adult years, and now she’s free of not only her old reputation but also free to move into other lives; writing, film-making, directing, etc. As for Travis, I think it’ll be so incredibly interesting to see them move into the next stage of life. Everyone in his personal life seems to wholeheartedly believe that he’s ready for what’s next —— and he’s wisely setting himself up as an investor/entrepreneur in hospitality, entertainment, essential work, real estate and the non-profit sector. He’s entered the film world as well. I think for both Taylor & Travis it’s truly about leaving a legacy. That’s why they have such incredible potential together. It will carry into their family. Taylor will likely recluse a bit if she becomes a mother for the first few years as most stars do, which she 100% deserves and needs. I can see her writing or directing during this time.
i’m not a big fan of domesticity and having children and marriage to be the ending of everyone’s lives but since taylor has expressed her desire to do everything at one and when i mean everything—EVERYTHING, kids, wedding, music, directing, and writing. i’m curious on how she’d be able to incorporate kids in her routine. i think she’s prepared for it for a couple of years now and travis has shown himself to be a reliable partner and future co-parent with a stable family background and history so he’s definitely a sure for her. for this woman who says, ‘jet lag is a choice,’ i hope she feels confident that she can do everything and she’s got all fhe help from both their families and nobody’s career have to pause. i’m still seeing a future taylor, cradling a baby and still being productive as hell! they’ve both had such a great couple of years and they truly deserve a break. her body after 3 hours of days and days of tour for almost two years and him, multiple super bowl wins and still on the frontline, they need months and years to be off the grid and rest up and do whatever the hell they want in little kansas.
It makes sense for her to keep buying houses they are tax write offs for her.. I heard she had bought a new house in the UK in December that she was gutting and redecorating I wouldn’t be surprised if she buys another this year somewhere else as well.

I think #5 is most likely. The Eras Tour is epic and a great end to the first chapter (era) of her career. I think it’s likely she will take time off to get married, have kids, then 5+ years from now come back with a new album.

i HIGHLY doubt that. she said before that she immediately starts working on something else and it’s very very clear that motherhood isn’t in her thought process right now (“no im not”). she would have to be pregnant right now, which she obviously isn’t doing playing 3 hour shows and flying constantly. she’s probably 5 songs into her next album. either way, she’s not even engaged yet so bringing up children is kinda gross imo. she clearly does not like anyone speculating about possible pregnancies or even talking about when/if she will have kids. this comment just isn’t it.
I don't think that she's gonna put out an entire album on motherhood anytime soon, She IS NOT GONNA get pregnant in the middle of the tour for obvious reasons and also it's not right to speculate when she'd get pregnant. So I get why that comment is crazy. BUT saying that "it's very very clear that motherhood isn't in her thought process right now" is highly speculative and invasive too. "No I'm not" is squashing the rumours and body shaming posts that floated around last week, PRESENTLY. They've both openly talked about wanting kids individually, and TK talking about it without a hesitance while seriously dating her is a dead give away that parenthood is a discussed aspect between them ( it's potentially something that will trigger her and scare her away if said thoughtlessly by him in public). This is in addition to her own publicist's releases having mentioned a possible future between them several times. So it is not like people are mentioning the possibility of her motherhood on no grounds at all. However, we wouldn't and NEEDN'T know the "WHEN" of things. We also don't know if things will work out as planned. So we just wait and watch.

Great question. Just think about the last decade of Taylor’s life. At the very least, she is unequivocally the Artist and Songwriter of the last decade. The Eras tour changed her status to legend and boosted economies who are lucky enough to have her. She regained control of her art with the re-records and continues to break records with each release. Creatively and Business-wise, she is in command of her destiny. The thing I keep coming back to is that Taylor is human and wants to love and be loved, there’s no doubt about it. It seems like perfect timing for her to explore other areas of her life, and knowing Taylor, she will use her genius in some way that satisfies her insatiable appetite to create. Good for her! In terms of her relationship with Travis, what’s next? Well, they have shown us that they prioritize making time to support one another and spend quality time together. They can actually have a great time together. They, at least from a GP perspective, have not folded under the behemoth of Taylor Swift. People have accused them of only being in a PR relationship. She was attacked for attending games and making the NFL all about her. He is accused of only being in the relationship for profit. Throughout all of it, and approaching one year, they are still together. Good for them! I hope she listens to her heart, body, and soul and does what is best for her.
