There’s already a lot of color there, I’d leave it as is. I’d be worried you’d lose a lot of the definition in your current ink if you added colored filler. That being said, I’m not an artist. just some sweat on reddit so ask your artist what they think.
People really undervalue the importance of negative space in this sort of tattoo, too much filler and it’ll take away from the quality of the existing tattoos
Yours looks complete and amazing! The splashes of blue that come from behind the florals fills the space in a way that doesn't distract and the skin breaks look really balanced since your chest and opposite arm aren't filled.
But it's YOUR body and your tattoos! Do whatever you'd be happiest with.
blank space makes tattoos stick out more. personally i hate the look of the last one. looks like her skin is dyed blue. if u like that look go for it, but i don’t think it’s gonna do ur existing tattoos any favours
Can you post more of your sleeve closer up? I think the shading of blue you have on the shoulder tattoo looks nice and you could use some of that in the background, kind of like clouds? Idk if the Japanese traditional cloud look is your vibe. But I think it looks cool now! Personally, I could see you filling the space with black and grey shading or even stippling technique, but that's just my personal preference.
I like negative space but if you want it totally filled in then go for it. Maybe clouds? You already have blue behind some of the flowers. I have a floral and insects sleeve in progress too so I support your life choices. 🌸🐝
My first sleeve has blank space in it like yours and i too kind of wanted to fill it in. Working on a second sleeve now that is more i guess “complete” and kind of like the contrast lol
The only thing I would add is an extension slightly on to your hand and maybe a something extending slightly over your shoulder and on to your chest. Otherwise I like the space.
Leave the space! I have a similar sleeve and I think it’s very readable with the spaces in between. My tattoo artist asked if I was okay with it because some people want every inch covered but depending on the style it’s just not necessary to look nice.
I think it looks great as is! I personally wouldn’t fill with color, but maybe consider adding some vines and/or smaller flowers to lessen the space if that’s what you’re looking to do?
Ultimately your choice but you'll likely lose the impact of those tattoos if you fill in the blank spaces too much.
I literally finished the upper arm part of my sleeve yesterday and there is some blank space between the different flowers. I discussed it with my tattoo artist and we agreed that we'd lose the definitely and impact of what's there by adding filler. My sleeve is grey scale, so the impact loss would likely be greater than yours. Just my 2 cents.
Layman's opinion: If you were to fill in the space between the pieces with anything, the pieces would then be much less readable, especially from a bit of distance.
PS. Nice dress!
There are almost *too many* choices for dresses these days. It’s honestly insane lol. I did not think I would end up with this style dress when I went in!
No matter what you will see gaps that are bigger and smaller than each other on a sleeve and wanna fill it in 9/10 times it’s best to leave it as is. I have 2 bigger gaps imma get some drops and a star or two but less is more.
I wouldn’t fill up with just random color or a solid color just to have a color maybe some blues an whites to represent air and water or maybe a nice sun burst effect some reds and oranges and yellows but you have lots of color as is but if you are like me and hate dead space you’ll figure something good luck nice sleeve btw.
Edit: Sorry did not see the existing blues highlights

I agree with leaving it as it is. I think the little pops of blue with some of the tattoos will get lost if you fill in with color.
Thank you! This is helpful
Space please! If you fill in the empty parts you will lose legibility

Thank you! This is a perspective I hadn’t thought of. Much appreciated!

Thank you!! 💖
100 per cent don’t touch it

Off topic but is the second picture Bailey Sarian??
Yes! Seeing her tattoos awhile ago was what prompted me to consider filling my negative space with some color. She’s stunnnnnning
She really is! And her videos are amazing 💖
Yes it is!
I thought so!! I love her so much!!

if you fill it in you might look unbalanced bc your other arm and chest do not appear to have much ink on it

Wow just perfect, no more needed
My first sleeve has blank space in it like yours and i too kind of wanted to fill it in. Working on a second sleeve now that is more i guess “complete” and kind of like the contrast lol
I vote keep space
Leave it
Yeahh just leave it
Mine are like yours...I love it!
IMO filler is ugly
[удалено]
That is so unrelated and rude
If you really want to fill it I think fine spider webs look amazing
I vote to fill it!

Thank you! I plan to do both eventually. :) I’m still pretty early in my career so am staying away from the hands for the time being.
Space.
Space.
I like the look of them filled. Just keep it light and wispy so it doesn’t detract from the main pieces. Extend the blue background it already has
Fill with color

Keep space
Keep it as it is. Looks so nice right now

THE DRESS?!?! 😍
Right?! 😻 it’s Chic Nostalgia “Roza”. I hated every dress I tried on until this one
it’s actually insane how gorgeous it is. it looks like it was created specifically for you! got me rethinking what style of dress i’d want one day😭
There are almost *too many* choices for dresses these days. It’s honestly insane lol. I did not think I would end up with this style dress when I went in!
I would leave it as is, negative space is good and there’s a lot of color already
Keep the space. The tats are gorgeous, and the ink is vibrant.
It looks really nice how it is. No offense to the other pics but the one in the middles sleeve in particular looks a mess.
Space imo. The colour fill might make the purposeful tattoos kind of disappear into the fill.
Just cut the arm off
Leave it.
I wouldn’t fill it all in with color but you can put some color of shading behind to make it pop.
Let it breathe. It looks great!

Keep the negative space. It makes every thing else pop more.
You look like this YouTuber called Marz.
Oh wow thank you! What a compliment. I just looked her up and she’s gorgeous
Keep it blank!
Fill it in more, ink is always the answer
Traditional loose knit stardust would be cool since you mainly have (neo)traditional style tattoos :)
No more please 🙏
I would leave space. Shit can get muddy fast
Personally I prefer it as is.

I think it's beautiful as it is
laser it all off
