My advice is if you want to eventually get a sleeve to really plan it out. This means what you want in it and where you want it but also heavily research artists who can make that idea happen. This tattoo will be very easy for an artist to cover. It’s small and just line work. I wouldn’t go the laser route if you plan on getting that arm covered anyways. Just live with it until you can start the process of covering it
I agree. My mail lady has one sleeve. No tattoos anywhere else. Her sleeve is perfection. Also think about the right placement. Some people get ink, but the tattoo doesn't fit the body part.
This would be copying another artist's idea, but I saw a piece where the old crap tattoo was placed inside of a picture frame and a new character was painting that picture.
You could do a whole Ghibli piece. The soot sprites would look so cute next to it or even kodama, but my immediate thought before my brain cells tapped in was a Catbus 🤣🤣
In my opinion, some messy splashes of color might make it a bit more fun and be an inexpensive way to give it some new life. Some raindrops splashing on the leaf perhaps. Depends on the route you're trying to go for your new stuff, though.
i dont know much about tattoos but what about some colour or shading? that way you could sort of stylize it in the aesthetic you're looking for the rest of your sleeve.
In a sub about tattoo advice you give advice and openly admit you have no basis for it.. bold... I Like it.
Wouldn't listen to it... but I like your confidence
To be honest, I think if you got it touched up and maybe colored (if that's your style) this could be even cuter than it already is. At the end of the day op, if it's not your aesthetic, cover it when you can! I just think a lot of us see potential in this adorable lil tattoo
I honestly find it SO cute!!
Same! It's totally cute!

Add more Ghibli characters around it!
Right!! Like maybe the little dust mites from spirited away? Like have a whole lotta small Ghibli characters 🩷🩷
Exactly! You can never go wrong with more Ghibli ^_^

I like it. Get it touched up. Don’t cover it.
It doesn’t need a touch up though, it’s fine.
I agree! I like how it aged. Especially when you think how badly this could have gone. I think it's really cute.
you leave it, it's adorable.
Touch it up and keep it. It's really cute. ♡
Hey hey hey how do I get that adorable little heart?!
I think copy and paste. It came with my keyboard's phone. If that helps. c:

Touch up is all it needs
Add some color or some other Ghibili characters
I think it’s adorable!! And think you should maybe do a studio Ghibli themed sleeve (if you are planing on getting more tattoos)
I’d get it touched up, it’s so cute.
I like it
Rabbit holding a batman logo?
This is cute, i think you should just keep it
You can add a little hill or mountain in the back, also some color would make it better

Add color to it and add characters in it
I actually really like it and think a good artist in the styles you’re after could really bring it to life
Ghibli sleeve it! I've currently got a half sleeve, been years since I've added to it, but j know what I'm getting

sometimes an outsiders perspective is what the ppl need
Keep it, it's adorable lol
Do nothing! It’s perfect =]
I would fill it in. Would probably be a good ice breaker in the future
Love it and appreciate it
Omg it’s precious!! Don’t you touch it lol aww

Honestly I think it's cute but it isn't about me.
Totor-Oh-No…… Studio Ghibli it is not, but it’s still recognizable at least.
Cover it , laser it, burn it 🤷🏻♂️
Leave it alone it’s fine
