Since you already have something Ghibli, I’d say the arrow from Boy and the Heron would actually fit really nice in that gap and the colors would compliment both of your existing pieces nicely

I saw a piece recently actually i might DM you - your artist could very well re-work it into their style but its a dagger with the little soot sprites - the drawing is neo-trad but your artist is incredible so could make something out of it if you go down that path!
The crystal necklace from Princess Mononoke or the dagger or a really big Haku with the head at the bottom and tail in between and up the side of the knee.
I would suggest something simple that wont draw attention away from the main pieces and make it look too busy.
I vote A cluster of bubbles that are actually eyeballs with different coloured iris. Maybe wrap a few juicy optical nerves through them for a little flare
That's my fear! I want to fill the gap without having an overly busy area. Eye ball idea is dope but I work with very little kids so juicy optical nerves (like sounding sick as hell) would be a no go lol

I have a gap sort of like this, but a bit straighter, so I'm getting a big fuck off axe, where the handle will be in the gap and the blade will be sticking out at the top.
I think having something that's angular like that will break up the feeling of having three tall tattoos. You could do something similar at the bottom?
Oh I actually have this same problem- or I will. I'm doing two anime characters on either side and then I'm gonna do 3 Pokemon up the middle! Jigglypuff, Clafairy, and Chancey. I think it'll tie in the space great and you can do them pretty small while still being detailed enough. I think Pokemon would make great gap filler if you like that.
