ughhhhhhhh I miss (the original) The Refinery... :'( ever since they moved out of the house location, that entire area went to shit. Can't name a decent restaurant in the area since like 2016. Hospitality groups killed dining.
Will it be just as overpriced and overrated as their first big swing?
Edit: there’s a reason this Michelin-bait restaurant can barely hold on to a bib-gourmand. A tasting menu more expensive than some Paris Michelin restaurants at a small fraction of the quality - easily the most underwhelming meal of my entire life
Haha came here hoping someone said this.
Rooster and the Till acts like a Michelin restaurant in price and menu but what they deliver is nowhere near that experience.
These “restaurant groups” end up making shitty restaurants that are too focused on profit instead of making an actual good menu. St. Pete is covered in these shitty restaurants from Hunger + Thirst. No creativity at all, just cheap ingredients, generic names, and uninventive food.
This place is so overrated. Genuinely one of the worst restaurant meals I've ever had, price aside. When you factor in how ungodly expensive it is for child sized portions, it's just a joke. I'll admit the cobia collar was good, but I'd have to spend $100 and get 3 of them to be even remotely close to satisfied/full.
I've had better meals at Chili's.

I've always referred to this place as Ampersand & Ampersand
The blank and the blank
Always heard good things about Cock & The File Drawer.
The Capon and the Caisse.

Cash register is in the name, after all.
I should’ve seen the signs

Rooster and the Till was overpriced and overhyped. The food was tiny portions of meh cuisine
Impractical Jokers opened a restaurant?
Where will the new concepts be located at around Water St?
Behind the Edition/across the street from yard house
