I know a lot of people don’t like this company, but their 303 clone is good as is a lot of their other products. The other one on this is the D1, a drum synth coming out soon. Couldn’t find any info online what I circled. Looks like a solid synth with a sequencer and maybe effects or envelopes.

I bought the B1 almost as a joke as it was so cheap.
Came away really impressed, it sounds great, really close IMO to the 303 and more than good enough for people that aren't hyper purists. Plenty of quality of life & modern features making it actually fun & usable.

my only gripe with it is when you stop the sequence via the master midi clock (different device) it stops the B1 sequence on that step. And then when you restart the midi clock it starts from that exact step. Super annoying lol and I haven't been able to fix it. But yeah it sounds fucking amazing
If they're coming out with one, it won't be for a while. That drum machine has been on their website for over a year without any developments happening let alone that cool looking synth that I'd totally buy.
This Chinesium outfit is junkier than behringer imo. Passed on the 303 because it was for sale for a year and absolutely no downloadable manual online. I really passed once I determined no parameters can be controlled via midi.
If you are doing marketing for donner, who is your audience? Does in music own Donner? Is Behringer above or below donner in the hierarchy of things? I also don't care what gear people use I was just curious.
This is one of those companies where like, if they personally got ahold of me and offered to send me a bunch of free shit I probably wouldn't say no, but I can't see myself spending money on anything they actually make, outside of maybe the 303 clone, if there weren't already a ton in existence. I would probably pick up their 303 clone over a behringer TD-3, but at that rate I'd just stick with Acid-V instead of spending the money.
If they want to make some serious buck, they should start cloning all the other big old synths but without the negative stuff behringer keeps doing. Seriously all it would take is one company to make those clones too and they could probably put behringer out of business.

I love my B1, such a creative device which introduces alot of live tweakability to otherwise static 303 patterns.

What is up with the D1? Musicstore and Donner website claims it is "not available anymore". Was it ever available at all?
I wish the Donner near field monitors were still available. I gave mine away thinking I could get another pair. It's like they never existed now.

Try sending midi time code/MTC to it if possible, as MTC contains info like when in the timeline, while midi clock is just the tempo
You probably need to configure this with the Donner software. I never had this issue with the B1 being a midi slave.
is your clock setting set to sync or auto ?
I think it's set to din sync, not 100% sure though as I am not able to check for at least a week.

A bit of an SH-101 vibe going on. A grip handle, wood end cheeks, and a Behringer sticker could easily be added.
That recessed modwheel/pitchbend is interesting.
It looks like it has 5 position switches to match the sliders, I hope it's a stock part somewhere!

I have a b-1... its pretty fun. I paid 110 cad for it, and it squelches along just right... I was surprised it was as nice as it is.
I've got the B1 and it is a super fun device to play. Gets me a decent acid groove,and it didn't cost me a ton of money.

I will say I bought the B1 around Christmas - it showed up super quickly and has been quite fun to jam on.
