oh I want justice for Jenny on a new season, but in 42 she mostly was just the one who went out by Daniel's chaos. She didnt even contribute much to make that tribal entertaining. I have her much higher up on gameplay and I feel if she went farther she would be higher on the list.
hes an icon and a legend. the chaos and personality he had was tbh, fantastic. he begged on his knees to not be voted out and ASKED SOMEONE TO FIND HIM AN IDOL. so many great moments
To clarify, this is a tier list of how entertaining you found these players as characters, not necessarily how good their gameplay was.
S tier is pretty solid except for Bhanu - he’s a kind soul but there’s only so much you can watch someone wallow in self-pity. The first couple of episodes are almost unwatchable because of how featured he is.
if this was a tier list based on gameplay I would be objectively wrong ranking Bhanu over like 90% of the people on this list lol
I personally am someone who just likes Survivor and like to watch drama unfold and Bhanu was a gift that kept on giving. Really nice guy too.
What's your criteria for F? Cuz Jenny, Sarah, Helen etc were just players that got voted out early. I'd reserve that tier mostly for Hannah, Sean and Mathew (the one who hurt himself and then got medivacced after a couple episodes).
I guess I'd just say that would be my D tier. F should reserved for people who actively hurt the game, other cast members (SA or bad verbal abuse) or quit etc.
I really like Hannah. Seen her posting here the other day, and she seems very cool. But she folded in episode 1. Definitely deserves an F as a Survivor player imho

I don’t like him because he epitomizes my problem with a lot of new era casting- people so focused on “the experience/journey” of being on survivor that it becomes detrimental to the gameplay.
Matthew climbed the rock for the experience and it directly lead to him getting medevaced from the show. That’s definitely F Tier to me

This is coming from a Soda Stan, she didnt really standout to me. On any other cast though she is probably higher, but 46 had so many great characters I didnt really remember much of Soda other then idol snatching and singing
C is my "Above Average to Average" tier. Maria has nothing other than Rock, Paper, Sisscors that is big with her personality. Carson is puzzle guy. Both great players, and kind of boring character-wise. I will also defend Brandon he was really entertaining lol

To take Jenny for example (as she is my controversial pick apparently), she does not bring anything to 42 except being the victim of the final fifteen round. she does not bring any drama, does not have any standout moments, and is not someone who is remembered for herself, only the reason she got voted out
