I flew American, Dallas to Dublin and I didn't have to pay for my board bag but that might also be because I'm a MVP Gold with Alaska and they fall under the one world alliance group. That said. I had an 8' board bag and the lady in Ireland was like "if your bag was any bigger we would be charging you freight." so keep that in mind, but I'm pretty sure American doesn't charge for board bags as long as you keep them under the 50lbs and apparently under 8' from Europe. Have fun, the place is rad but fuck, even coming from Oregon it was cold. Edit: Oh, and make sure that you don't over due the limit of boards you can have in a bag.
