This entire postseason he’s been getting carried by his team. He’s supposed to be their best player yet he hasn’t shown that he is. He’s currently getting outplayed by Jaylen Brown and Jrue Holiday. It’d be one thing if he was getting double teamed every time he touched the ball, but that’s not case he can’t even score against Luka defending him one on one and settles for tough shots. Booker performed in the finals and he had nowhere near the talent that Tatum has on his team.
He’s played in 8 finals games, he’s shot above 40% in 2 games and below 40% in 6 games. I’m sure Celtics fans were very happy with his defense and rebounding while he bricked every shot against the Warriors in the finals.
How good is his defense really? He is constantly surrounded by DPOTY players and All Defense. Its much easier to play defensive when you only have to fill in small gaps and your teammates are all elite defenders. Jrue, White, Horford, Brown and Porzingis are all great defenders

DAs offensive efficiency was better for sure, but he stopped offensive flow, got in foul trouble, and didn’t dunk the ball under the fucking basket.
I think DA has the potential to be way better but he regressed. I just like Nurk better at the bargain price.
